I have exactly the same problem. Harris Scarfe are not interested in helping. They were similarly unhelpful when I complained about Elysian sheets from their shop, which shrank so much that they were almost useless on the queen-sized bed they were supposed to fit. I too suggest buying these products in a different shop.

The worst product ever. After using for a few months the left side came up with "P" and doesn't work. Looking at all the other complaints of the same problem I would recommend looking at another more reliable product. Also purchase from a company that supports its products (not Harris Scarfe).

I googled this blanket as I have been getting an error message on the left hand side ('P' just like previous reviews). I'm disgusted to find that so many reviews below are experiencing the same/similar issues! I barely used the blanket last winter & as soon as I put it on for the first time this winter I have had the 'P' error & no heating at all, I estimate I would have got maybe 2 months usage from this blanket in total. Wish I'd seen these reviews before getting it!!

Short life, does not hear on left side - seems like a common fault in this product

blanket stopped working one side in less than 4 months. I purchased 4 blankets at same time and we experience the same static electricity on all 4 blankets as as reported by others on this site. It cost so much to return and the retailer, Harris scarfe, will not take it back on our behalf.

Cost too much to return under warranty

I was actually searching for help to maybe fix my partners side, and was shocked to come accross all these reviews, and people having the same problem as me. Explains a lot!

I bought the fitted queen size blanket from Harris Scarfe... My partners side no longer works and is flashing 'P'. Reading the other reviews, we also get the same wierd sensation when touching - I also had it when holding my laptop - its totally freaked me out and I will be taking it off and discarding it this weekend!

One side stopped working alltogether. Felling of electricty passing through human contact.

Only bought this three months ago. Almost immediately, noticed on one of the controls, when pressed to go on the H indicator goes off quickly and the red heating indicator numbered 1-5, will only go to L or 1. Goes out after 1 and subsequently does not stay on or heat up. Not only that, but I am having trouble setting the other side as well. After reading other reviews I will stop using this blanket as I cannot trust that it is safe. Maybe I will just go back to good old hot water bottles. Not even going to bother sending it back as it will probably cost too much in postage as I bought it on ebay.
Thought the safety cut out and 12 hour automatic timer would be beneficial. Did not last.
Cuts out all the time and won't heat the bed.

Worked fine, heated quickly until 4 months after purchase, then it stopped working.
It took a month for the store I originally purchased from to finally get back to me with what was happening with my warranty claim after I lodged it.
They then requested nearly twice the postage than what they would have charged if I were purchasing it new from their store.
On reflection I can't really blame Kingdom, the problem lays with the store I purchased it from and their terrible after sales service.
Had I purchased this from a store close to home where I didn't have to pay postage, I may not have had the same problems.
Heated quickly, fitted my mattress well.

Have only used the Queen size electric blanket three times and the left hand side comes up with an error sign.The shop owner has said that this has been the 4th blanket returned.They said that they would send it to be repaired.After reading other reviews I will be requesting my money back and purchasing a quality,known brand product from a reputable retailer.
