Try swapping the controllers left to right, one of them may work and reset. Doubtfull though, this item is absolute dangerous rubbish.

Throw it away. Wouldn't trust it not to randomly burn your house down.

Mine is fleece topped, so fleece side up. If yours isn't fleece lined, the tag cld be a guide or perhaps have the connecting controls on bottom side. Although my connecting controls are on top side. They could do with some clear guidelines.

No. Never found out. Disappointing. So had to buy another brand.

Sorry I don't know what the flashing P means. In my case both controllers gradually failed due to the inferior electrical conponent/s.

I imagine it would be. I haven't experienced this so far but it seems it's a common problem looking at the reviews! Send the controller back to where you bought it from.... The blanket doesn't need to go too.

The flashing (P) means the contoller is stuffed, The flashing (E) means the blanket is stuffed, Basically this blanket is a horror. Cheers.Google Kingtex, they are the manufacture, who really could not care less. Terrible product.

I don't know what the flashing P means. All I can tell you is that I purchased two of these blankets - 1 for me and 1 for daughter. Both have had to be discarded and in the end I just bought a fitted electric blanket from K Mart which has been a little beauty. No digital just the switch type function. This is probably one of my worst purchases ever. Sorry.
