Wonderful if only the coating was better....
This would have been a fantastic product but for one thing..... the teflon coating on the basket and the bowl started to flake from the first use. As it was minimal at first I was just extra careful with hand washing however it is now impossible to use as more coating flies off with every use, peppering food with black specks of teflon. Like another reviewer, I had been using baking paper but of course this defeats the purpose of an airfryer ie; to minimise oil content in food. Really, the product should be recalled. I bought it at Harris Scarfe for $119. I have since purchased an airfryer oven with a stainless steel interior as it appears that the flaking off of coating in many of these airfryers is a problem
Purchased in December 2021 at Harris Scarfe Online Store for $119.00.

Bread flipped over to the top, cheese sticks to the bottom..
I bought kitchen Coutute airfryer 7L from Dicksmith 2 months ago. Nonstick coating is bad but i guess its what you paid for. The price is cheap so i wouldnt expect too much. However, not sure if there is fault or it's jsu the way it is but the fan blows so strong that i cannot toast bread or anything light as they will be flipped over to the top...i paid extra for extra warranty and regret it now...
Purchased in May 2021 at Dick Smith for $100.00.

Love the product, but all the coating now flakes off into our food!
Love the way this product works. The airflow, ease and speed of cooking. The crispiest chips without deep frying! We found even the first time using that handle was a bit dodgy - the weight of the basket makes the grey plastic on the handle pop off. But such a minor issue that we just pop it back in, didn't worry about contacting the retailer about it.
Now after 3 months though the black coating that is on the basket is all flaking off into our food. I've never used metal utensils in it, always handwashed it and never used anything abrasive t...Read more
o wash it. We are getting a replacement, but will be interested to see if the new one has the same issue after a similar period of time. I'm now putting baking paper in it to protect our food while we wait for the replacement, but it just defeats the purpose a little when the oil then pools on the paper when cooking a hashbrown for instance - I liked the fact that putting it straight on the basket meant it got better airflow and also the oil would drain.Similar opinion?
