$32 Kmart Anko cordless pet hair clippers
*Edit 12 months on clippers still going strong using every 6 weeks, still havent changed the blades*.
Budget $32 Anko cordless pet hair clippers worked a treat on first use. Light, manoeuvrable to get into the tight areas around the face, ears and privates. The battery lasted 1:30 hrs for a thick winter coat cut. The blades cut with ease. I found it alot easier to use than my other professional heavy-duty clippers.
For $32 you can't go wrong. Will be interesting to see how many cuts it does before it packs in.

How effective are these clippers on long fine cat hair? I have a Maine Coon cat with very fine hair
Can you get replacement Anko clipper blades. After 6 months of grooming all they do is tug the fur and it jams in the blades. They have been oiled before and after use. I notice other brands recommend blade replacement when this happens.

After every 2nd clip, I disassemble the blades to give it a good clean and oil as hair gets stuck inside the blade mechanism, this may fix the problem.

i have the same question about blade replacement, it's not the money cost it's the environmental cost of just throwing a set of clippers out... I'm happy to just buy the blades but don'
