This was a steal at the price we got it for. We didnt expect it to last this long but we love it. There is one issue that it turns off automatically but that only happens every now and then. We got what what we paid for and more so very happy with this purchase.

Kogan - Never again, be aware
We bought this TV from Kogan for our sons 21st birthday, 3 years ago. He had problems right from the start. Picture quality was terrible, Streaks (lines) in the TV started appearing 2 months after purchase, Input lag for gaming was shocking. Kogan didn't have a contact number to call them, all disputes were handled by email. He was given a firmware update by Kogan, this didn't work. He tried in vain to get the TV repaired, but it fell on deaf eyes. He could not use the TV after 6 months from purchase. He basically gave up trying to get it fixed...Read more

V-222-98531). Our purchase transaction I/D 36B299687K932121E purchased on the 20 June 2013. We had to wait cause this was a pre-order and it was dispatched on 5 August 2013. My son gave up contacting Kogan after he was getting no support from them over the lag issue with gaming, The TV was a complete dud and he was getting no were with Kogan and just gave up persisting in contacting them after many attempts.Kogan please step up, you have asked for the details of this purchase so you can investigate. very similar pattern, try to make contact, nothing! You just don't get any answers. People please look at other reviews, Don’t buy from them - shocking for a company to get so far with so many disgruntled consumers.

Don't forget how much you paid
OK first off if you want a TV in a hurry, go to a store and pay a bit. Shipping was a joke and took 2 weeks longer than quoted.. That said, Kogan did refund the shipping cost. So the TV.. Picture 9/10 and sound doesn't even rate, awful. But that was expected. Definitely needs a soundbar or similar. You get some but not bad glare at the edges, but I was expecting that from reading reviews of older models. Certainly not inhibitive to what is an excellent picture. And like the title, don't forget you're paying ~$600 for a 55" HD TV. All in all, very pleased with my purchase.

55 inch LED TV
we had our TV delivered at Xmas eve 2013,First we notice the voice & picture out of sync!!!!
Now 14 months down the track three blue /green lines appear down the screen one in the middle of the TV and the others on the side of each screen.plus blotches in the screen.
We are lucky my husband purchased a three years extended warranty for the TV,we are asking for a FULL REFUND from kogan.Still waiting for a response from them.
We will never buy a kogan TV ever again.

Absolutely perfect..love all the extras on it..
Love the huge screen, great being able to use our computer, iPad and iPod with it, makes our lives so easy, looks fantastic too. So slim and commanding..everyone that sees it's easy use..asks what make is this??..,

Kogan 55" LED TV (Full HD) Borderless
Received the TV and have not had any technical problems. Seems like a fairly standard TV and the interface is OK but I must have had the same delivery driver as Mickholas because the driver said if I have any trouble DO NOT ask for a new one but get a refund as he has to return about 80% of the TVs he delivers. So I had a very troubled initial period where I was waiting for it to stop working.

I purchased this 55"LED HD at a awesome price got delivered on time no dramas. Have previously purchased from Kogan before and was extremely satisfied with the service!!!
What more can I say but keep up the good work and very reasonable priced items I'm deffinately a regular to Kogan.

Absolute Rubbish!
Purchased this on Boxing day 2013. Despite being told it would be delivered on a certain day, it took 2 weeks from purchase date to arrive. This was just the beginning! Once the television was set-up and running we noticed a small bug the size of a baby cockroach embedded in the inside of the screen possibly from the factory. Often the voice and picture would be out of sync and then finally after 3 months a vertical green line appeared down the screen.

Kogan 55" LED TV (Full HD) - Borderless
I bought this TV for my parents for Christmas.
Had really bad picture quality from the start. The LED backlight was visible through the frame of the tv.
Also the LCD was visible in blotches through the screen and in odd places.
On the second day the LED panels blew up leaving the TV very very dim and unusable.
The man who came and picked it up said he has to pick up about 90 percent of all TV's he delivers.
Kogan was understanding and gave a full refund.
Price.
Poor quality. and misleading description on quality.

ave sold tens of thousands of TVs to happy customers around Australia, so I would suggest that the delivery driver is not the best source of information about our products.I am more inclined to see honesty in an impartial truck driver than a Kogan representative looking to silence an honest review.

My first flatscreen, thought I might save a few bucks. Originally ordered at $720 it was a bargain. On NRL grand final day the screen died, & usb port did not work from the begining. Warranty was long and drawn out (6 months) but they did send me a new one, which so far hasnt died, but does have mild bright/dark area's on the screen. Remote is far below an acceptable quality and the TV does not work with any universal remote as it does not have codes available to program them, like any other branded TV. quashed your TV is worthless/disabled. Never the less at $720 ($790 delivered) the department stores couldnt compete for a 55" borderless. I am happy and have noticed the price has risen. Electric Shock! (Faulty Product), Poor Service, Long Delays,
I ordered in November based on the advertised message "order now to receive before Christmas". I did not receive the product until 31st December after numerous phone calls to Toll and Kogan and my order going "missing". Even then I had to collect the item myself or else I would not have received for another 3 days. A very disappointing Christmas indeed.

measured a voltage of 60V. This highlights some potentially serious problems with their quality control and product safety. I also felt the handling of my refund was poor. After wasting hours on my phone trying to locate my product, collecting the TV myself (over a month after ordering), unpacking, installing and then getting an electric shock from the unit, this was included in the response from Kogan... "Kogan accepts no liability for any damage that may occur in transit." So basically if anything happens to the unit in transit - I pay! Do they consider the fact that if Kogan sold a quality product I would not need to be returning the unit. Yesterday I received my refund - almost 2 months after my initial order. Don't buy
Horrible picture, LED Panels are visible when there is a dark scene in a movie. The LED Lights were protruding out the front left side of the boarder. After mucking around with the settings I managed to get an average picture though the yellow was always over saturated.
The TV lasted two days before all 4 backlight LED panels blew and the TV was too dull to see a picture.
I sent it back to get a refund.

This post is about the dealings with Kogan regarding there 55" LED TV (Full HD) - Borderless model the first one was the KALED55XXXWA which was returned because of problems with the LED lights ( It could have been returned under warranty for any number of other reasons.). This was replaced by the KALED55XXXWB model which was returned because of truly bad backlight bleed which was replaced with another KALED55XXXWB which had the identical problem as the previous one, bad backlight bleed.
