Rubbish. Don’t waste your money or time.
The instructions say to screw the wheel sections to the bottom of the heater. Small plastic clips are provided, with screws. But they actually go no where. The legs semi clip on, and at a guess I’d say the clip is supposed to secure it once that’s done. They don’t. I got someone else to come and have a look, in case I was missing something. There are no pictures in the instructions, so I googled it in case I was missing something. Mine also came with a big dent in the bottom.. almost a crease.

Effective Heater. Fit for Purpose.
Whilst this heater isn't the most efficient heater due to the way the thermostat works, it does heat up a small to medium room pretty effectively. It would be good if the timer was a bit more simple but nevertheless for the cost of the heater is does a reasonable job.

Sucks a lot of power but heats a room quickly
I bought this solely for those really cold mornings. I didn't want to run the whole houses heating for just one room. This works a treat. The feet fall off it really easily, but a touch of super glue fixed it. I am really happy with this purchase. Highly recommended

1 / 2 Working.
I bought 2 of these heaters.
Build quality isn't great. The LCD panels are wonky and hard to read.
One heater didn't come with enough screws to screw on the castors.
One heater sparked and make a bad smell after 1.5 years, so we had to throw it away.
The other one is still going.. The one that works makes enough heat to warm a small room.
If I was going to buy another heater I'd spend a bit more and get a better brand.

Don't waste your money
Very disappointed with heater. Ran heater for nearly 2 hours & didn't warm room up. It was only a small room. Won't recommend wasting your money.Instructions are very basic & the wheels kept coming off. Instructions say to use screw but couldn't find home on heater for the screw to be mounted.

Don't touch them
Bought one last year. First one didn't work at all. It refused to be programmed so I never got to the stage of using the heater. I returned it and Kogan provided what I thought would be a new one. But the underside was dented and the Castors wouldn't go on. The display panel is scratched. When I switched it on I had the display you would expect but it is completely unresponsive. Now it's locked and I still haven't managed to turn the heat on. I suspect they sent back the first one that never worked! Shame on you Kogan. Selling garbage like this will destroy your reputation.

Faulty heater / Warranty Claim
Faulty ! Unboxed this heater today. The support screws where missing from one side of the heater element. It was free from the chassis sitting dangerously on the bottom of the heater . Very disappointed.
Going through warranty claim now to get my money back. I will report back how well Kogan respond to this claim.

Heater Burnt out
I bought my heater a year ago and was happy with it until tonight when without any warning, made some weird noises and started spewing acrid smoke out of the top and into the living room... glad it was not in a bedroom! Will be calling Kogan tomorrow but don't think I'll be getting another one!

Doesn't Heat the Room but Panel gets super heat. risky product for home with kids.
Not a good product from kogan. Panel gets super heat, I got burnt while trying to change the direction of heater. Very slow in heating room. Kept it on for 2 hours and there is no difference in room temp even though thermostat was showing temp of room is increasing. A $14 fan heater from Target is much more effective than this.

I bought a Kogan and so far it has worked flawlessly.
I wanted a small heater for a home office which is situated on the south side of the house, so cold in winter. I bought a Kogan, because we have bought two of their TVs before and we were happy with their performance. One reason for the choice was appearance as I thought the Sunbeam did not look as good. First impressions were positive as it was very easy to unpack and assemble and get operating. So far it has worked flawlessly but I haven't had my first electricity bill yet.

Heater burnt out...
I was initially happy with the heater, it was quiet and effective, so I"m giving it some credit…after a few months it started making small high-pitched noises, as you might get by rubbing metal on metal, which was only a problem if you were sleeping next to it. So I moved it from the kid's bedroom into the living room, where it was also pretty handy and the noise less bothersome, until it burnt itself out suddenly one evening this April, very early into its third year's service, making an awful belching sound and stinking the room out with acri...Read more
d smoke. Kogan was very good about it, I should add, they paid for the return shipping of the heater back to Kogan, with its cooked electronics and smoke-stained control panel, and I was offered a credit voucher or replacement, though I decided not to risk another one. I wonder how it might have played had it burnt out unheard in a bedroom...Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Great purchase, purchased a second one
We haven't had any issues with our panel heater. It heats very quietly and there's no fan. We actually have had it in our baby's room for the whole winter and it has a thermostat and switches on and off to achieve the desired temperature.
I'm a little worried now though, after reading the previous comment about the fire? :-(
Great heater, quiet, inexpensive. Bought it when it went on special to $79 with free delivery.
Not good for big rooms eg living rooms etc

Very happy with my purchase
Bought two Kogan panel heaters and am very happy with delivery speed and the product itself. They both work really well and have a built in thermostat which controls room temperature. My rooms heat up quickly, there is no noisy fan and they are portable but would fit on a wall quite well also. Took only 2 days for delivery. I am very happy with my purchase.
Portable, quiet and heat up quickly
Nothing

Effective and inexpensive
This is a great portable heater..Definitely great because of the obvious "portable" fact...but does the job. We have it in our living room and heats it up within the hour. It seems to have reasonable power and is safe. I have a baby so that is always a concern. It is inexpensive, looks clean and tidy and heats effectively.
Inexpensive

Faulty within 3 days - not happy.
After receiving heater, it stopped working after 3 days (only used twice). Plugged into the wall socket, turned it on - nothing. Called Kogan who said to return it for them to look at. AFter 3 weeks, and chasing up on the phone, they tell me its working perfectly and I would have to foot the bill for freight as it was not faulty.
I was furious - they send me a faulty heater, somehow it magically works when it gets back to Kogan, and they ask me pay the freight to and from Kogan - which equals half of what I paid for the heater itself!
Not happy. Spent 30 mins waiting on the phone for someone to answer.
Do not buy from Kogan!
Poor quality. Bad service. Complete rort on freight.

Questions & Answers
Dennis Rutzouasked
I have read the reviews and comments but nowhere do I see how much it costs to run. Is it a big energy user and if not how much does it cost to run? I live in Sydney..

Hello Dennis,
I'm sorry but I can't tell you how much it costs to run.
I have not seen a noticeable increase in my power bills.
Perhaps the product specs can tell you how many kilowatts it draws per hour.
I'm not much help either, it powers up to 2000W so its no lightweight, but I have solar with feed-in tariffs so its hard to judge. That said, my estimate is $150 per month when I ran it pretty regularly last winter and it was a lot cheaper than my gas burning heater, which was costing me about $250+ per month

We purchased this panel and it hardly heats anything. Not sure if the thermostat works, says that is 26 or 27 degrees, not possible? Any ideas?

The Kogan 2000W Portable Panel Heater is not advertised as including a remote. It does note that it has 'Thermostat Control', though. This is on the unit itself. The surface of panel heaters do get hot and that's how they're able to disperse heat efficiently while using minimal energy. If there is anything that we can do to help with the unit, please don't hesitate to contact our team on 1300 304 292 or at the following link: https://www.kogan.com/au/help/question/new/
