What a huge difference this topper has made. It is super comfortable and not at all hot. The sofa bed was not a standard size and the topper had to be made as a special order. Latex Mattress Australia were accurate, quick and very helpful. Very pleased with the result!

We have owned a number of different toppers over the years, and couldn't be happier with the new latex topper purchased recently. It's very supportive, comfortable and certainly not hot (as some reviews elsewhere would have us believe). It's easy to turn over, unlike the previous ones. Happy so far!

I purchased the topper as our new Sealy bed with medium firmness was too firm. The difference is incredible. The bed is softer but still has loads of support and no issues with heat. It makes the bed feel like something worth thousands more. Highly recommended.

This Excellent Latex Topper Solved A Terrible Mattress Purchase Situation
We purchased a new memory foam style mattress in June (2022) to replace a similar but different brand mattress had that given us 11 years of comfortable sleep. Our choice of a mattress (approved by NASA) turned out to be a terrible mattress for us. The mattress feel with linen on the bed was very different to the store but the biggest issue is that the so called cool touch technology incorporated into the mattress is anything but cool. Each night we were waking up, sweating 2 hours after going to bed, and then would spend the next 4-5 hours tos...
Read moresing and turning looking for a cool spot every 10 minutes or so. Coupled with that my partner and I are side sleepers and within a few days we had aching shoulders and hips. This mattress was really a special form of torture. The retailer (one of Australia's best known) did not want to know about our problems and after making contact with the manufacture head office we were also brushed off with advice that cool touch is just that (cool when you first touch the mattress but what happens after that is not specifically covered) with the result that you need to keep shifting. The manufacturer's advice was change the linen (which we did), open the window (keep in mind this is July, what would January be like) and a list of other erroneous things to basically blame everything except the mattress. Having sunk $5,600 into this mattress we desperately looked for solutions. We tried different linen and a new high quality temperature regulating quilt to little effect), we then tried a cheaper memory foam topper, (this improved the shoulder and hip issue) but it did not fix the hot sleeping part. We tried a Jumbuck cool sleeper mattress underlay, which made the mattress a little cooler but also very hard. Over the space of 4-5 weeks we spent about another $600 on solutions that did little to rectify a lousy new mattress. In one final search for a solution before contemplating binning the mattress and buying something else (after all no-one wants to buy a nearly brand new but secondhand mattress) I stumbled on the Latex toppers from Latex Mattress Australia. This topper had good reviews but I have to say I was feeling skeptical about sinking more money into what seemed like a lost cause. The more I looked at this option (and we were also tossing up trying a pillow style, polyester based topper, that retails for $200-$300) the more I became convinced that the Latex topper might be the best solution for our problem. I phoned and spoke to the helpful staff, explaining our situation and asked for an honest appraisal as to whether this topper would likely solve the comfort and heat build up issue that we had been experiencing. At nearly $700 for this topper, I was really keen not to throw good money after bad. After a detailed discussion, we placed our order and picked the topper up a few days later. I have waited over a month to write this review to make sure our initial impressions held up. I can say that this topper has solved our lousy mattress situation. The topper breathes really well and has eliminated the heat build up issue which was the deal breaker for this mattress. Secondly, this topper is very comfortable (my partner and I now do not want to get out of bed in the morning). While it doesn't have straps or a fitted elastic edge, it is heavy enough that it doesn't move around on the mattress and stays very much in place on its own. The reason for the long review is that I hope it helps others who might have been sucked into drinking the cool aid and purchased an over-priced memory foam mattress that is apparently great in space (I guess it is freezing cold, with little gravity where NASA fly) but pretty ordinary down here in Australia where the importer/manufacturer will do practically nothing to resolve difficulties. This topper is very comfortable and cool to sleep on and would be an excellent addition to any mattress. I am hoping to get at least 8 years out of the current arrangement to recoup some value from the money we have spent (between the mattress and all the solutions tried it has totaled nearly $7000). Next time around we will certainly consider buying a complete mattress from Latex Mattresses Australia given how nice their topper is.

The level of firmness is good for supporting both back and half side sleeping positions and soft enough to relieve pressure points. The material is natural, hygienic and not too hot to sleep on. So far my sleep quality has improved since using the topper, only wished I had purchased it earlier. In addition, the staff at the Springwood shop was very helpful and friendly, which enhanced my purchase experience.
