Trans people stay away from this company

Their attitude towards trans customers is disgusting. Deadnaming for two years, misgendering when I call Up and refusal to enter into decent negotiations when I tried to resolve the matter. Trans people should stay away from them completely. Their systems and staff are archaic apparently.

Terrible experience all round

I was thinking about consolidating my loans for a while now, a few weeks back latitude called me asking that since I’m a customer their personal loan rates have dropped and was wondering if I wanted one. So I applied and was declined. What is the point of hassling me every week for something that couldn’t be offered? These guys have got me into this mess from the start, letting 20 year olds decide who to approve and decline

They lie to you saying your application has final approval then turn around and say no it isn’t without a reason. Then you have them stuck on your credit score.

My vehicle was written off so my insurer contacted lattitude For a payout figure and It took over a week to get, I missed out on a Fantastic vehicle because they stuffed me around for so long, they sent my insurer 4 wrong emails to respond too which delayed everything, they love taking your money but won’t do anything to help the early finalisation of the loan, just avoid these muppets, go to a bank do the smart thing, interest rates with lattitude are insane, I paid $26000 for a $12000, oh and don’t expect to speak to any Australians it’s just a constant phonecall saying ‘what, excuse me, can u repeat that, and lots of sorry sir the line is bad, just avoid at all costs people.

Obtaining the loan approval through a broker was easy. The frustrating part was the hours it took from the time the loan was sent to compliance to receiving the final approval. I ended up paying for the car on my credit card and the car yard refunded me the following week. The broker was 100 yards away from the car yard, a paper based option would have been much easier in my case, especially as the recredit on my card didn’t show up in my account for 6 days and I was worried the car yard had put $’s into wrong account.

Terrible experience similar to previous review. Took almost 2 weeks and status of application kept changing. Income was verified and loan approved pending ID. Once that was provided they wanted income verification again and even though this was supplied multiple ways they still declined and/or cancelled the application. I am not even sure as no communication updates but application link seems to have disappeared. They have negatively impacted my credit rating. I can only believe any positive reviews on here are fake.

Worst customer service and miscommunication

Please never apply for your finance through Latitude. I have had a terrible experience with Latitude. The customer service located overseas have no clue on what they are doing and repeating the same mistake over and over again. After waiting for 10 days post online application, one asked me to go to the apple store for ID verification and later got declined due to lack of income verification. The income verification was performed by another customer service agent on the first week of application. Seems they have no communication about application. They have made two enquiries on my credit which is going to have a huge impact on my credit profile.
