Packaging blues
Love your range and quality of the Lawsons brand,,
But the packaging is possibly the worst on the shelf, very easily ripped,, usually very untidy and near impossible to re-seal.

Disappointed loyal customer.
I have been buying your 800gram Settlers Grain for the past year and have loved your product freshness, texture, flavor and size of your bread. But yesterday got my bread home to make my partners lunch and to my discussed the bread was not the normal size and was to small for the 800 gram bag. The bread would not have been 800 grams. I enjoy the size of you bread as I only need to use 2 slices for a sandwich but ton the this time.
I feel ripped off and lied to about you product. If this is the size your bread has now changed to the packaging needs to be changed accordingly

Not one but two
I brought a 800gram loaf of Original White which taste really nice, great texture 10/10. Unfortunately, it came with two strands of light coloured hair. Disappointed as this good quality good tasting bread had to be thrown away. Even if i could afford to buy another loaf I am not do sure I will take the risk and buy from the same company as I am unsure about the hygiene standards & monitoring of the production site.
Taste & texture
Two strands of hair found

Great product
I am an aged ex. baker, I have tried this bread for the first time, take a bow, it excels, people will judge for them selves, the properties that they like as individual taste, with out understanding the balance of the ingredients needed to produce this high quality loaf, the super grade flour, yeast, salt, bactrim, etc. ...
take a bow, you earned it
the finish, weight, 800grm. after taste, good grain..

The best. Anthing else just doesn't cut it anymore!
We got sick of the skinny white fluff being called bread. We tried this, and oh a whole new world! Paper packaging is a little difficult to handle in a loaded supermarket trolley, but I think is better for keeping the bread fresh longer at home. It usually doesn't get mould until well after the expiry date. Its more expensive, but worth it. The one problem for us, is that its too big for our toddler to get her mouth round a sandwich (so we do open sandwiches!).
Taste, texture, hearty goodness.
Very very occaisionally there's a 'gluggy' batch. Persist- its worth it.

Love this bread
Hi, I discovered this bread last year and have bought it ever since. It's the ONLY bread I have ever had that hasn't gone mouldy two/ three days after I have bought it. I have placed all other brands at various places around the kitchen and in the fridge to no avail. This bread is fantastic!

Fabulous bread in Perth, Australia!!
My wife and I enjoyed this bread while living in Perth Australia for the past 3.5 years. The flavor, texture, and freshness were excellent and the grain and seeds on and in the bread only added to the quality of the experience of eating it both as toast and sandwiches. My wife and I purchased this bread in one of two flavors at the local Woolworth's (Woolys!)

Flavor, texture, size, freshness
Freshness was fleeting after 4-5 days due to packaging.

Our mighty duopoly at work again
I have been using Lawsons's seed and grain bread now for quite a long time, being able to pick it up at my local corner store, but quite some time ago now I was told that I can now only buy it at Coles and Woolworths.. I don't visit these stores very much, my own little boycott, so I have to settle for a different brand. Oh, how I would love to be able to get it back into the smaller market.
I just loved it.
Can't buy it.

Bad batch
Usually at the top of my weekly shopping list, today's loaf was dense, doughy, sticky and smaller in size than usual.
Very disappointing! I had to bin it. I hope Lawsons haven't fiddled with the recipe and that this is a one off glitch. I'm prepared to buy another loaf in the hope that I get my favorite bread back as I like it.
Doughy sticky dense and smaller in size than the regular slices

I,ve been buying your stonemill wholemeal bread since it arrived on the shelves, but today unfortunatly there was a 10 inch blonde hair in it which made me feel quite ill.

The best of the best
I have tried all the grain breads available in supermarkets, but this is by far the best. OK, it's not shaped to fit a toaster (though it fits ours) cut it in half and you'll get the best toast there is. It is dearer than supermarket brand bread,(Woolies or Coles), but it's not as dear as some of the other bakery breads. Well worth the money as far as I'm concerned.

I love this bread and contrary to the others, I think the paper packaging works well, I don't think I have had a loaf last as long as this does.

Good
expensive bread that is a difficult size to fit into the toaster although it is very tasty and has a lot of natural fibre. doesnt stay as freh which i think is due to the paper
lovely fluffy bread which is full of natural fibre and is very tasty fresh or toasted.
i dont think the paper packaging keeps it as fresh as a plastic packaging. the price of it is very expensive. the size of it is hard to fit into some toasters and also the top is too high you need to rotate the toast halfway through cooking

Excellent
i do love this bread even though it does cost more its worth it but you have to eat it on the day you buy it or it will go stale or the next day or 2 you can toast it and it will still taste good
love this bread, i love all types of grain breads but this is one of my favourites, it has a great variety of grains in it, tastes great either fresh or toasted, either way its so much better then white bread, has so much more taste and flavour
you do need to eat it fresh as i fond the paper packaging makes the bread go stale after a day or 2 so a bit disappointing, also is quite expensive

Pros: I love this bread. It is bread with real taste and IMHO is very healthy. It must have high levels of fibre.
Cons: A bit pricey, but because of the quality, is not too bad. ... Read more
Overall: An excellent bread. I immediately break it up into two slice packs in ziplock bags and freeze what I can't use on the day it is purchased. Our parrots love the end crusts as well (they are spoilt).I have just recently discovered your bread in our IGA store in Prospect Tasmania. It is the nicest bread that I have ever tasted.I will be purchasing your bread from now on.Please don't ever go out of business.
