What a piece of crap
T60 Luxe (2018-2023)Bought it brand new. 2021 ldv
Had emissions warning light problems constantly, which i got told that it needed an update.
This problem happened 3 times with the excuse it needed updating. It would go into limp mode.
The gear box shunted and jumped and was replaced. We waited 2 and a half months for the replacement. When we got it back it still was doing the same thing. Constantly we just kept being told it needed an update.
In the end we got rid of it, after only having it for 18 months
Don’t buy one of these
They are crap
Don’t waste your money
Worst car in 40 years of driving
T60 Luxe (2018-2023)My T60 2021 model must be the worst car i have ever owned. From the moment of the first warranty call- 2 weeks after purchasing brand new - to today, 4/8/23...( yet another call out for towing) it has been a pain in the a**e to own.
Constant computer issues,a battery that goes flat within a week, woeful performance, wipers that come on in sunshine, and to top it off the rear number plate fell off somewhere between Mudgee and Armidale!!!!! I mean really!!!
Be warned.. avoid like the plaque
Perfect value for money and best power output in its class
T60 Luxe (2018-2023)has a whopping 160kW of power and for a top of the range vehicle to be under $45K with a towbar is unheard of with all of these features.
I use my T60 for towing and everyday driving and has not missed a beat.

Cruise control issue
T60 Luxe (2018-2023)Got the ute in 2020 everything was great loved it, then 2 months later we started having issues with the cruise control.
I would set it to the desired speed green light came on indicating it was set, be diving for abit then all of sudden it started to decrease in speed but was still showing it was set. Hit reset then it goes back to set speed.
Took it back to dealership,
& have nothing but excuse after excuse.
Standard operating procedure, Shadows on the road, rough road surfaces, overcast day. Oh & the latest excuse it's a safety thing.

Not happy Jan
T60 Luxe (2018-2023)Picked up Ute in March 2022 never had any issues with it until I had it's first service done in July after a 2 month wait. Went to Victoria for a funeral a few weeks later and not a problem driving from Newcastle to Wangaratta. When I left Wangaratta the following night to go home car had every warning light on the dash lit up no fuel gauge and no speedo. I knew I had a full tank of fuel because I filled it when I arrived in Wangaratta the day before. I proceeded to drive back to Newcastle stopping at Gundagai to get a drink so I decided to top

Read more up the fuel but couldn't open the fuel cap flap after trying for a while to get it open with no luck I decided to keep heading home because the trip down I done on one tank so I should get home which I did. Rang ldv dealer telling them the problems and they said to drop it in problem is I live about an hour away and couldn't put fuel in it after a couple more phone calls still nothing an they wouldn't answer my calls. Now November I call road side service and they organized to pick up the ute and take it to the dealer it's now end of January and still none the wiser they say they don't know what the problem is and that they don't know what to do. So in the time I've owned the ute only been able to use it half the time.
Shocking

T60 Luxe (2018-2023)The vehicle went into limp mode within the first 1000 km.The service Team at von Bibra Southport could not diagnose the issue.During the next few months the vehicle continued to go into the limp mode and the acceleration control was replaced. This still did not fix the original problem.
On the eighth occasion of this occurrence I was fortunate to be in the proximity of a dealership and asked the manager Shaun to view the vehicle. To his credit he purchased the vehicle back under warranty.
LDV made no contact with myself after logging the issue.
They don’t provide the dealer with the proper tools to diagnose a issue and make no attempt to make a vehicle fit for purpose.
Great Value for money & very good occupant room & cargo size.
T60 Luxe (2018-2023)2019 Model in Luxe. Now travelled over 145,000 kms. Has had every service by personal mechanic. Really works well on & off road. Only gripe is Android Auto does not work but there is a work around by purchasing a masking device ($50 - $200) & Google Maps etc work good. This is my daughters car & I personally have a RAM 2500HD Laramie 2018 & previously had 2 x 200 Series Sahara Landcruisers & 1x 105 Series & 60 Series & if it was not for the need to have a much greater towing ability, I would see no reason not to buy one of these LDV T60 Luxe models. It is competitive but generally larger in size than most other brands like the rear passenger leg room & the price difference is the icing on the cake.

T60 Luxe (2018-2023)Ute is reasonably new, so time will tell how all the components hold up. The interior whilst basic is quite comfortable to be in, everything works quite intuitively when using as a daily driver. For the money saved on the big brands it's quite an impressive machine so far.
Pros:
- Engine seems to have lots of power (as advertised)
- Interior functionaluty is quite intuative and easy to use
- Feels quite nice to drive on the road
Cons:
- A couple of hard plastic surfaces could have done with a wrap, but not a huge deal
- Cameras are a bit fuzzy, they are usable but could be improved
T60 max luxe
T60 Luxe (2018-2023)bought my t60 max luxe from Ldv five dock ordered Sept 2022 took delivery end of sept 2022. I previously had a 2021 t60 pro. I must say that the 2022 model is a much better ute. Michael was great at his job kept me up to date the whole way. They also included a full tank of fuel as well as my ute fully detailed. Great looking heaps of power no issues other than lag at take off nothing a throttle controller won’t fix. I must make a special mention to Jason the sales manager. His service was fantastic from day one. I will buy from Five dock ldv again. Once again thank you guys for you speedy delivery and great customer service.

Below 6k new car shut down. 3 weeks and no one can diagnosed
T60 Luxe (2018-2023)22 LDVT60 Lux. One evening 3 weeks ago, car suddenly loses all electrical power and stops dead on a busy road. No hazards would even work.
Still at dealership and no one including factory involvement can diagnose the problem.
Anyone had similar issues? Loosing faith in brand and vehicle.
Great value for money overall
T60 Luxe (2018-2023)Purchased my 2020 Luxe for a transport tool and almost 2 years nothing has an issue. Drive her on daily basis, fuel consumption is far beyond expectations, which is around 9.2L per 100k.

T60 Luxe (2018-2023)Ok, so I feel its almost a 2.5 star review to be honest. But we've had these as work vehicles for the past 6 months and here's the nuts and bolts.
Will add to this list later as we go, 2020 LDV T60 work utes dual cab diesel.
Positives first,
-Mechanically with average kms of around 30 thou at the moment. Nothing has broken or let us down. However there have been moments with the auto trans where is throws it down a gear violently.
- It's average on fuel, diesel, but not the worst. i.e. better than a crappy Rodeo what we used to have.
- Parts from Aliexpress are cheap, dealers are hit and miss, the only good one was on the Gold Coast, cheaper than Brisbane.
Questions & Answers
Own a 2018 LDV T60 lux with 87,000 km.
For a while now the car sometimes jerks while decelerating at low speeds. Took it to the local LDV dealer and they're "technicians" have told me I need a new automatic transmission at a cost of $23,000 dollars - one month out of warranty.
Hi all, I just purchased a 2022 LDV T60 and whilst driving it there always a sound like there is alot of wind noise coming from the back. I sat in the back seat and it is coming from the rear fixed window. I can't feel a draft but the noise is quite bad... is this normal?
I would not imagine that this is normal. Take it back to dealer so they can hear it and fix it.
This is a trivial problem compared to our gear box shunting and emission light constantly coming on. We ended up getting rid of our 2021 model. They are not worth the money

Just like to add, that after comparing it to say the ranger of the same year. Its almost identical in top end gutless power, Yeah they both have a little torquey feel down low. but overall. If i had t
