I have used fake tan for more than 10yrs. The best will always be Fake Bake or St Tropez but my bank account says NO to those brands. My favourite cheap tan has always been Le Tan mousse (the dark one with a green base). I thought I'd try this and used it last night. The mousse is easy to apply and does dry quickly. It smells like most fake tans too - but today (the day after applying) it definitely smells a little less than I'm used to. I exfoliated, put it on my whole body and did my face by wiping my gloved hands over my face after doing a b...
Read moreody part (i.e. I didn't apply any directly but used remnants of having done a leg to minimise the amount going on my face). I washed my face after 45minutes and I slept in the rest (I did NOT wash it off after two hours). This morning I woke to have a lovely golden glow. No orange. It has zero streaks and is even and looks very natural. BUT IT IS NOT DARK ENOUGH. I'm going to do another coat and then that should be the level of tan I like to have. I'll definitely keep using it, but then I'll probably go back to the normal Le Tan dark mousse. If you want a natural glow (that does look like a tan but does not look like fake tan) then I recommend it. If you don't mind doing a second coat the next day then this is also for you. Note I have only just used it for the first time so I cant comment on what applying a second coat in one session looks like the next day - I did one coat only.

Apart from the awful smell when you first spray it on, this tan is fantastic!! Leaves a great looking colour and I love the fact that I can shower after only an hour. This is my new favourite tan!

I spend a lot of time in the sun at work so I'm left with an awful tan that cuts on my arms and thighs (from shorts and shirts). So I decided fake tan my torso so I don't look like 2 different people of colour.
I sprayed it all over my chest, stomach, back, shoulders and upper thigh and spread it with a clean sock.
I left it only for about half an hour, washed it off and didn't see much of a change and was a bit disappointed. But next morning, I was a gorgeous tan colour almost the same as my tanned arms and legs.
I does continue to darken after wash so be patient.
I'm quite happy and more confident in this summer bikini weather :D
Super affordable too, I just have to find out how long it will last before it washes off completely.

I tried this tan as I was short on time.
I left it the 2 hours and showered and there was not much change in my colour.
Maybe it's doesn't suit my skin as my friend swears by it.
So gone back to Bondi Sands mousse

Ok. Firstly, it is a great colour, easy to apply, develops quickly.
But...
I am one a half weeks post tan and I still CANNOT get it off!!! I have been exfoliating like crazy, using salt scrubs, exfoliating bead lotion, exfoliating gloves (and even the really tough glove I use for my laser hair removal).
Nothing is getting it off. Its ridiculous!
So a few positives.. But the negative has outweighed it for me this time!!

This bronzing mousse gives a good, quick, natural looking tan. I am fair skinned and find I need to leave it on for the full two hours before washing off. The final result isn't as dark as the tan appears before wash-off but it does continue to develop over the next few hours and leaves a very natural-looking tan. If I want a darker tan I can always re-apply the next day.
Be careful where you sit whilst the tan is on your skin, as it will leave red marks on any fabric you sit down on, despite it being described as a green-based tan. The ...
Read morered does wash off but you wouldn't want to sit on anything that isn't easily washable. I particularly like the fact that this tan washes off and doesn't leave you with a fake tan smell. It isn't overly expensive and a bottle lasts me quite while, depending on how much coverage I need.Questions & Answers
Why was the product changed, the original tanning foam was great this new one is as pathetic as Bondi sands. Why not produce both. The old one was not only far more user friendly, it actually worked the new “Le Bondi sands “ washes off even after leaving for 8 hours.
