The best TV in existence
I had a C7 and recently bought a C8 - you can really tell the difference with the new range's ultra smooth high frame rate tech, but then again I went looking to try and stump it with custom content and it STILL blew me away.
Burn in is a complete non issue from improper use. I have thousands of hours without a single issue. Best TV money can buy by far.

quality TV!
I love the LG oled, i thinks it's a great tv and idea however i do notice there aren't blurs around moving objects at times and sometimes the moving objects are also seen as not so smooth. The TV has enough hdmi ports and the speakers are great but the operating system and apps sometimes get a bit frustrating so i don't use them much anymore, i prefer to use the apps on my xbox One.

A very nice TV (if you want to splash)
A wonderful tv with the most beautiful pictures and so far the best picture quality I've seen.
The default smooth picture (soap opera) effect, however, is a nightmare and every serious cinema viewing public member should turn that off. (It's not easy to find the menu option for this at first). I'm not sure how or why people could like the soap opera effect and becuase it's the default setting, you will be stuck with it unless you switch it off. I was seriosuly thinking of sending it back until I figured it out. The sound is good and much be...Read more
tter than I thought it would be (though I use my home cinema amp for movies anyway). It cost me $4.5k which is serious money for a tv, and very indulgnet no doubt, but hopefully it's something that will last for 9 years without a hickup so it's about $10 / week if you think about it like this. There will be better tvs that will come out over the next 9 years, but it'll be hard to be unhappy with this over the period of time.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Mind Blowing
We purchased TV in Dec-2017 and an amazing product, the picture quality is just too too good and has a magic remote where its simply click, scroll and select, very convenient and an amazing experience. The sound quality and various settings of HDMI, other connections from Mobile simply superb. Feels like a theatre at home. Having fun watching lots of movies.

Love it
After having Panasonic plasmas for years with there great blacks & whites made it hard to find a great LCD / LED TV. Had a few in only 2 years, even a Panasonic but then we found the LG OLED and I would place it as even better than the plasma for its colour range. A little bit of getting used to but I would recommend it even though the cost is high. Speakers are good but went with a Sonos setup anyway.Plenty of HDMI ports etc. Just not a fan of the "Magic remote" but its only minor.

Fantastic TV - The best of the best!
Purchased this TV back in October and have been a heavy user since then. Outstanding picture quality. You really do get what you pay for and this is no cheap trick. Managed to get it on a 20% off sale and money well spent. The blacks are true deep blacks and the picture quality, particularly with 4k content using Netflix and HDR bluray is outstanding. HDR gaming is unbelievable as well. The myth about screen burn in is just that - a myth, unless you plan on having your tv on a static image for 24 hrs 7 days a week. Even then it has a program that refreshes the pixels when the TV is turned off.

Amazing 4K OLED
This by far is the best TV that I ever had. I bought this TV reading a lots of reviews, but one thing is reading the reviews and another to view and be amazed by the quality, blacks, whites, shades, its just amazing. Its a little bit expensive, but worth every dollar. At this moment I'm trying 4K content and DTS.....is just AMAZING. LG puts the Television to another level with this TV.

You Will Not Get A Better Picture
I spent months researching and deliberating which OLED TV to buy. I was torn between this and the Sony but in the end I was able to get a great price on the C7 and so I went ahead and bought it... I'm so glad I did. The picture is absolutely incredible (not to mention the actual unit itself). Excellent connectivity options as well.

Awesome 4K Oled TV
We finally bought this dream TV on 2017 Boxing Day, we got a good deal from THE GOOD GUYS. The TV itself is very thin, so we were so nervous when we were trying to get it out of the box. The picture quality is so great and we are more stuck to the TV now lol. We watch 4K Netflix on it, it’s definitely worth the money you spend and makes your tv time better than ever!

Perfect TV for everyone
This TV is perfect for gamer and movie enthusiast with its deep black, colorful HDR and really fast response time in gaming mode which is ideal and nowadays it is a feature that is hard to find. Dolby Vision movies are hard to come by but when you tune in Netflix and select Dolby Vision, you are in for a treat.

Best Movie experience at home
Picture Quality is unrevealed. Don't be fooled by other manufactures coming up with things like 'QLED'. They do not compare. Do yourself a favour, go and stand in JB HI FI or harvey norman and compare it side by side and you will instantly see the difference. It has netflix and all the other apps built in. I use it to stream Plex and it words like a charm. The remote takes a little to get used to, its like a Wiimote from the Nintendo Wii but it works a charm. Can't comment on the inbuilt speakers as the sounds goes through a soundbar.

Great TV if not a little pricey
While the OLED range is still pretty expensive they are definately worth the cost if you are looking for a long term upgrade.
Picture quality is perfect aswell as blacks and colours, no iffy backlight is definitely welcome. 4K content looks fantastic and there is finally enough content out there to warrant a UHD setup.
Games look great on it although HDR can take some tweaking. New generation consoles will certainly take advantage of the technology.
My only gripe was the mounting holes are at the very bottom of the TV so you might have...Read more
to adjust any existing setup or have the TV sitting really high up. The smart TV side of things is also snappy and very easy to use. Netflix at the touch of the button on the remote comes in handy as Netflix looks and runs great on this TV!!Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Truely immersive experience!!!
The picture quality is one of the best; but lacks in sound. However, once you have an AV receiver connected Bro! It's a truly immersive experience. Worth it when on NBN>25mbps. Good storage for apps, and plenty of HDMI ports + USB and component ports. I would sure recommend this. If you can wait, the prices will come down sure.

It was Fantastic!!! But not now!!!
Edit:
Sadly after only 14 months of use, my beloved OLED suffered from terrible (permanent) Screen Burn. Plus a few other screen issues. NETFLIX LOGO!!! uuggghhh, and ABC Kids.
Lucky for product care - I received a credit. And purchased a Samsung QLED. Yes, the picture is not as good, BUT there is NO screen burn. I lucked out and got a fairly good panel with little to no Banding so pretty happy. ONLY down falls is new top of the range Samsung tv does not support most Dolby sound files and a couple of video files. Disappointing for a $5000 flag...Read more

Sound
Re started dvd player and magically the gren line is gone. Did i mention that the sound is terrible as well. Probably cause the speakers are so small. But still syncing is not possible properly. Buy at your own risk and if you have any issues contact LG. Would be better if we bought made in Australia goods.

A fantastic TV, but know that it's very thin (and delicate)
Ok, so giving something I recently bought 5 stars may sound like confirmation bias.... but the truth is that I and my partner were so impressed by the image quality, that we decided to "up" our budget for this TV. By "Up" I mean MORE THAN DOUBLE!
Some of you might be wondering, "What's so special about this TV?" well lets just say that comparing it with most LCD, QLED, and other offerings.... there was no real comparison to OLED technology. Is it the best for everything?... probably not. But for the darkest blacks, and the brightest whites, ...Read more
and some seriously amazing colours, OLED really is the best. However, there have been some reports about ghosting, and "burned in" images over a long period of time, so if your TV is on a LOT with lots of static icons, game menus, or other such non-changing elements, then perhaps OLED is not for you. Initially, we liked the Panasonic OLED, but upon discovering that ALL OLED panels in any brand of TV is made by LG, we decided to go with the LG, simply because they'd be unlikely to give their best panels to their competition, and the price for the LG was lower by hundreds of dollars. Now shopping for this TV was an interesting experience. We wanted to see the absolute best this TV could offer, so we were hoping to see 4K, HDR (High dynamic range) footage in stores. But we were disappointed at several shops since they weren't showing that, and either could not, or would not demonstrate 4K content (Seriously?!). Now let me just say that I don't watch TV anymore. Ever. I have a high-end home theatre, and I want to make the most of it, so low-resolution, poorly received TV signal was always going to be a bit of a let down by comparison. Of course, I stream things (and this TV does that pretty well if you've got lots of bandwidth on your Internet plan) but if you watch free-to-air TV only, then this TV is essentially wasted.Similar opinion? Amazing picture but has issues
Overall it is an amazing TV and the picture is the best out there by far. I did ALOT of research and finally found the LG OLED to be the best available. It is super thin so looks great when wall mounted. There are plenty of inputs and the remote is really cool with an automatic cursor.
I have had some trouble when connecting it to an external sound source via HDMI. Using the installed Netflix app and also the Dolby app (awesome to see the TV true potential and quality) the audio drops out every few seconds making it impossible to use.
Currently dealing with LG to get the problem fixed but they aren't very helpful.
Overall the TV itself is amazing and if you don't experience my issue than you will be forever happy!

The gold standard in televisions, PERIOD
No-one does a better TV in 2017, than an LG OLED. It's just fact, and so many naysayers and ulterior brand fanboys hate to admit it, but unbiased journalists agree.
There are NO burn-in issues, apart from those pushing their sets with super hi lighting and calibration, or those turning off at the power point. The panel has software that cleans the screen when the TV is off, and have not had a single issue. Also looking to buy a W7 when the prices come down a little. LG OLED tech is just phenomenal.

Very Very Impressive TV
Did a lot of research before buying this TV and I can positively say that this TV exceeded all my expectations.
Flawless and easy setup, picks up media servers, phones, PC and so on with no fuss. Stunning picture indeed, plenty of ports, easy to use software, useful remote once you get used to the "magic remote".
Can't fault it apart from the price. Purchased with LG SJ8 soundbar, a good combination indeed.

Just the best!....
Picture quality is incredible. Heaps of adjustable options for picture preferences. Takes a while learning to navigate your way around but if you get stuck, easy to get out of. Bought the optional matching soundbar with sub and glad that we did first up. TV has 3 x HDMI ports along with 1 x USB. Soundbar connected via fibre-optic cable supplied. Easy to set up, just follow the instructions on the screen. As far as a Smart TV, it has everything that we want, all selectable from one simple menu. Early days but so far...very impressed!

Good morning
i have a small white spot on the top upper left of the screen. it is there during local tv programs. netflix, foxtel, stan etc. Is this pixel that is not functioning properly? Or has a pixel died?It is not there when the TV is off
1 answer
It sounds like a dead pixel. If you have warranty left contact the place of purchase or if extended warranty contact them to have it checked/replaced/repaired. I wholly advise you to ask for either a store credit to get a different brand of TV. If they won't do that for you tell them you want a replacement. Don't allow them to fix it, doubt they would anyway as a dead pixel means a new screen which is more costly than a TV.

Hi, I have just booked in my OLED65C7T which will be deliver tomorrow. By reading and researching I just wanted to know more on BURNT IN (Burnt Screen) issues and appreciate if someone can suggest on how to maintain for the longer durability?
1 answer
I haven’t had any issues, when I pause on Netflix for a while the TV goes into a screen save mode to stop burn in.
