    Lasted 5 years

    published

Ran happily as our 2nd fridge in the laundry for 5 years and 2 months. Stopped blowing cold air this week and have been told it's not worth repairing by an independent fridge repair guy. Expected more out of it to be honest but repair guy said that 5 years was pretty standard.

I've had this fridge for almost 3 years, I've never had a problem with it. Runs excellent and I would recommend it to everyone!

    Expensive Mistake

Lasted for 20 months and then a fuse blew. LG took six days to send a repairman out to fix it under warranty. So not wanting to be stranded without a fridge for that long I had to buy a new one. Needless to say the new one was not an LG. On the upside when it was working it was okay, if a little noisy. On the downside it had a very strong plastic odour that lingered for a long time and the crisper tray had a habit of wanting to fall out of the fridge when pulled out.
While it worked it was okay.
It only lasted for 20 months and LG took six days have it repaired under warranty.

Not great but not the worst.

Like another appliance bought around the same time this one has also just barely lived through its warranty before the fuse went, and now it seems the start relay has gone. The size was good and everything about the fridge was fine up until this point, but it's the short life that is making me reconsider the next brand to buy (am yet to get a quote on repair).
Great size and worked well enough for a while.
    Short life.
