Poor after sales serviceGreater Melbourne (Outer), VIC
Poor LG customer care service
Faulty power supply. No parts available. No communication to tech's who repeatedly sent enquiries with no reply. after 3 1/2 weeks.yes a replacement.in the end, delivery is out of their area, and i'm supposed to take the machine back(95 kg and i paid for delivery) but I get store credit. I want my money back. Things go wrong, I get it, the LG customer care service experience is what I'm staying clear of in the future.goodbye LG

Constant problems and almost caught alight
About a year after purchasing this machine we had our first call out as the dryer wasn't drying and also it would often trip the electrical breaker in the house. The engineer blamed the socket so I paid to have an electrician change the socket and check the wiring but he said it was an issue with the machine. The LG engineer was called out cleaned inside and said had overheated due to lint and should be ok.
About 9 months later the issue happened again. The engineer came out and repeated the process. This time the plug was burned in the pins. H...Read more
e cleaned this up and said was ok to use again. Just recently it happened again so LG sent an engineer who replaced lots of part, plus all the electrical cables and said was fine. Less than a week later the issue was back. on revisit the issue seems to be that the drum has a leak and it is dripping onto the electrics. We have been trying to get LG to make a decision on whether they will replace the machine as the engineer said it shouldn't be repaired. It has been 2 weeks now and almost a month since the fault re occurred. The machine cannot be used now and we are having to resort to going to the laundry. LG seem unable to contact the head office who makes the decisions from their complaints line so we are just having to wait & wait & wait. The machine is very dangerous as it could have burned our house down due to what I would say is a design fault if the drum can short all the electrics when leaking. Really wouldn't recommend this machine and LG you need to allow for your own customer complaints team to be able to contact you at head office as after all this is 2022. All Australian numbers are fielded by offshore contact centres which is not an issue but if they can't contact the people who make the decisions I'd steer clear as all they can do is apologise.
Purchased in January 2021 for $2,400.00.
