Never ever book with this company
Biggest scam, all our furniture was damaged, it came 5 days late, they refused to give us our furniture until we paid a ransom fee. The workers are told to take more time to get more money. We had to contact the police, the fair trade organisation and a lawyer. Do not book ever with this company. They are on a current affair for doing this time and time over. They need to be shut down .

Bad experience
I didn't do my homework! All of these reviews are spot on. Moved from QLD to NSW and furniture arrived 7 days later than promised. I was overcharge as the Sqm suddenly increased. Damaged furniture and little to none communication is given until they are ready deliver days later and by then I was quite desperate for my belongings so I paid.. Do not use this service people, they do it all the time and are even on a current affair for the same thing!

One man sent to load an entire house.
Couldn't pack a truck to save himself
No straps or trolley in the truck, driver had to go buy they.
I was charged for mt3 based on floor space when there was 1mt of space on top of what was loaded.
They got lost looking for delivery address when they were given clear instructions and even a dark blue car bonnet with a big white arrow in it out front to indicate the house!

Called after 8pm on a Sunday night wanting to complete pick up when the Monday had been scheduled. Said to be ready by 630 Monday morning. Arrived after 10am. Haphazardly packed my belongings in the truck. I had to move at very short notice from Melbourne to Brisbane and was essentially hamstrung. Truck driver was incompetent to start. Had scheduled delivery and 1 hour warning upon arrival 3 weeks later. Never received call. Arrived in the evening and refused to navigate driveway. d to complete delivery. Another delivery date was scheduled along with a 1hr warning call. They arrived without a call on a day and time specified as unsuitable. Upon delivery, items were wet and damaged and, a queen mattress, boxes of items and an upright trolley missing. I noticed my upright trolley on the current affair footage! All lost items were never accounted for. Zero communication and I was also blamed for the company having to return to complete delivery. The people are rude and incompetent. Avoid at all costs. I took this company to QCAT and had the issue mediated. I received a small amount in compensation. I strongly encourage other victims to follow through with complaints as compensation may be rewarded. I got off lightly. This company should be shut down IMMEDIATELY!!! Has made me very nervous about moving in the future! Do not use this company!!!

This company. Its scam company. I will take this case to ACCC and Work Safe to avoid other upset customers.
They over charged us $2800 more than what we expected. We pre-packed as we were told. The truck arrived 1 day earlier, we accepted. The moving truck have no tail gate lifter or ramp. The removelist guys worked really hard . But they threw our items into the truck.

The manager [name removed] is the most unprofessional person we have deal with, no professional manners in emails and also she told you call You back we never received phone calls. She is not willing to help at all. Payment is already paid in full about $6000, we were really worried weither we will receive our items or not, and how many items broken. Worst decision of my life to pick this company
I wish I could give them zero rating. I have book this company to move my stuff from Gladstone to Brisbane. That was my worst mistake to pick this company. On the day pick up no one turn at my place after calling them they not sure about what going on. First they said driver forget to pick up and reached brisbane, later they said truck got some issue so no one coming to pick up. I was out of town and wife was with two toddler kids alone. Due to my situation I have find another company to finish my job and I won't recommended this company.

LIFT AND LOAD REMOVALIST PTY LTD are the best company to use if you are after a company that jacks up the price hugely whilst they are loading the truck & basically give you no choice but to agree to pay the extra because you want your goods, rarely returns phone calls or even answers them, are rude, intimidating, disrespectful, threatening when they deliver, verbally abusive, aggressive, refuse to give you a copy of the inventory list they apparently made when packing your goods on their truck, threaten to take your goods away & you will never...Read more
see them again, constantly lie to you, are slower than a snail when unpacking your goods, changes pick up & delivery times constantly, get upset & abuse you if you take a photo of your goods inside the truck when they arrive, hold your goods to ransom, think its ok to blow cigarette smoke over your fabric lounge even after being politely asked not to, lose some of your goods & make it out to be your fault, poor customer service, turn up late or sometimes not at all ( these are just some of the highlights ). I have never dealt with such a company that thinks it is acceptable to run their business & treat their customers as outlined above. We used this company for our move from NSW to VIC. They kept moving our collection date, showed up at midnight to collect our stuff, delivered our stuff a day late! Damaged our TV, coffee spilled from a cup rolling around in the back of the truck stained our mattress, once we paid our deposit there was 0 communication from them and they didn’t answer their phones. Charged us an extra $1500 on top of what they quoted us. I still cannot believe these kind of businesses operate in Australia! I would of paid double the price to avoid the stress of using this company.

Hello I was quoted for my move to Bendigo Victoria $2860 from the Gold Coast. When I spoke to the women ([name removed]) on the phone I told her I had a 3 bedroom house I gave her a rough estimate oh what I had and she really recommended 38m3. imagine. So the lady told me on the day of the move that they should be there around 10:30-12. So myself my partner and her family all moved everything out of the house onto the drive way. They didn’t turn up to my address at 9 Fairweather Drive Parkwood to 1:30pm. We all sat out there for 3 hours waiting. So when they arrived they were extremely slow and we actually loaded the truck ourselves they just strapped it all in. Anyways we were quoted 2 hours loading time and it took them 2.5 hours loading time which they actually didn’t put a foot into our house just sat in truck while we loaded into it. So then they arrive at our house 5 hours late and I receive a bill for an extra $2889.70 because I was 22m3 over and an extra 30mins of loading time which we couldn’t of helped them anymore unless we strapped the items into the truck. They basically doubled the money for the trip which really wasn’t worth it. I was deliberately under quoted so they could smack on extra money for being over. They were extremely cheap compared to the others but I now know why because that’s how they make there money by under quoting then smacking on extra charges. I told them I was happy to pay a little bit extra for being over but $2889 bill was really excessive as that would be the same price for them to go down and back again. They wouldn’t drop my belongings unless I paid them so I had to.

WARNING TO ALL RIPP OFFS
What a horror experience booked in for pick up during the day showed up at 11:30pm at night & only fitted half of the items on the truck telling me i had used my allocated spot. Your personal belongings will not be safe or looked after & once you try to say anything they will turn on you even though your a paying customer. THE SERVICE YOU PAY FOR IS NOT WHAT YOU WILL RECEIVE. If i hired my own 20 cubic meter truck i would have moved triple to what this company had. DISGRACE to the words customer service.

Absolutely do not use! They picked up and delivered our furniture almost a week late. Consistently lied. Charged us double than they quoted us and held our furniture hostage until we paid it. They were also very aggressive to work with and extremely unprofessional. Unfortunately this is just a short outline of the horrible experience we had with this company.

DO NOT USE LIFT AND LOAD. Moved furniture and belongings interstate, had to Sleep on the floor as truck arrived late, mattresses were wet, wet boxes, crushed boxes, and water damaged dining table! Requested refund! IGNORED!

So I want to inform you of some of their tricks. Because they will send you in circles within their company to confuse you, hide information and then over charge you for broken and damaged goods.

though I measured the size of my goods before packing. But they hold you at ransom - you don’t get your things till you pay up. So what choice do we have. Not only that, they split our load without telling us, we only found out when we received half our goods. Then they wouldn’t tell us where our stuff was, they wouldn’t tell us when it would arrive, and they wouldn’t reduce or refund the excessive charges they made us pay. We literally had nothing to sit on for a week. We tried speaking to someone in the office, but they sent us around in circles and got no information or help. Secondly and please don’t use them! We transported our car through them too. Such a stupid mistake. They wrote off our car. No joke! They loaded the car and then drove into a low ceiling at the petrol station and took the roof out and windscreen and bent the chassis. They had our car for 2weeks it happened on the day they picked our car up, but they didn’t tell us until the day it was meant to be delivered. Which coincided with a public holiday. So we have now been without a car for 3 weeks. So you would think they wouldn’t make us pay for our written off car because they trashed it. No! They made us pay them because they wouldn’t release the car to the insurance company until we paid it.
