I just put this on about 2 hours ago and want to be more tan, do I need to shower again then apply or can I just apply over what it on now and wait another 2 hours to shower?

The active tanning active ingredients are clear and will continue to develop over the next 24 hours. A tip when showering is to rinse off the bronzer with just water and pat dry gently. I love the Loving Tan 2 hour express tan. It has such a beautiful, natural color. However, I find it begins to get patchy after about 5 days, and it’s VERY hard to remove. The patchiness does not bother me, I love this product and will continue to buy it! But, i like to fake tan often and I like to start with a fresh clean base. I feel like I have to exfoliate OVER AND OVER for about 3-4 days to try and get all of the tan off. Is there anyway I can make this process easier and remove my fake tan all in one shower so I can reapply? This is my only issue with this tanner, and I really would like to figure out a better way to remove it!

I use the loving tan exfoliating mitt in the shower and that seems to work well for me, you do have to scrub pretty vigorously though. You could try taking a bath and soak for a bit before...

First I want to start off by saying this product is absolutely amazing! I’ve been using it for about 6 months now.
My friends and I have planned a trip to Florida in August. I’m curious to know what is the best way to keep my tan looking good while in the water and out in the sun and sweating? My original thought was to apply it a couple days before leaving just so it is actually in my pores and skin. Is my thinking right?

No I always keep it on way longer than 2 hours. I feel like it gets a bit darker if i keep it on longer. I do find that it continues to develop into the next day as well also

I used the 2 hour express in medium. Showered off. And it looked as if the whole tan is gone now. Can I apply more and just sleep in it? Once I rinsed off it seemed to dissappear!
I always apply mine during the day and then before I go to bed I put lotion on, then shower in the morning! Works great.

Ok it says stay away from water for 6 hours then wash after 2 hours. So do u wait total of 8 or just 2 hours?

I have never used Loving Tan before. I currently use a tanner which works great- but stains my white clothing and swimsuits. After the tan has developed, does it ever transfer from perspiration or swimming? I can be in very hot temperatures, so sweating is an issue!

We recommend applying a layer of moisturiser first and then a very light layer of self tan on top (the moisturiser acts as a barrier to prevent over development). Both variations of our mousses are very easy to apply and include a topical bronzer to show you where you are spreading the clear, active ingredients. The difference between the Deluxe Bronzing mousse and the 2 hour Express mousse is simply the wash off time. The 2 hour Express range requires a minimum development time of two hours before you rinse off the excess bronzer. Similarly, the Deluxe range requires a minimum development time of eight hours. This will prevent the tan development and will give you a lighter shade. Then in summer if you require a darker tan, you can leave on for the full 2 hours or apply either an extra or thicker layer. I would also recommend doing all this at least 8 hours before you apply the tan so that your pores have had time to close. After you have applied your tan, it is best to wait a day or so before shaving. If you exfoliate after applying the tan, this process will remove it. I just purchased the Loving Tan 2 hour Express tanner so I could try it out. I shaved and exfoliated and then after applied lotion to dry spots as the tan said to do and then put on the tanner with the Loving Tan mitt as well. I got the color medium because I am a more fair skin color and after applying the tanner I was so happy with the color and right before rinsing it off at the 2 hour mark I was obsessed with the color. Immediately once I got in the shower just rinsing the tanner off all of it came off. I didn’t use soap or anything else previous but everything came right off and I left it on for recommend time at 2 hours. Since I have already purchased your Loving Tan product and can’t return it since I opened and used it should I try leaving the tan on overnight or purchase a darker color even though I was happy with the medium shade before rinsing it off? I have a cheer competition tomorrow and now I won’t be tan as all the other girls and this was a major fail! Please respond asap I have another comp tomorrow!

If UNOPENED how long til it expires? i have just found my loving tan 2 hour express and ive had it for about 2 years!! but is it ok to use it even though its never been opened?
This product used to work so well for me but now when I use it after exfoliating in the shower it gets my skin instantly dark and I wait about 3 hours and it all comes off in the shower as if I never put it on in the first place. Is it expired? Am I not waiting long enough? Is it just my skin?

I uses thus tan before, I don’t want to by the “ultra dark” bottle before my “2hour express dark bottle is emoty. But I want my tan to be darker. Doesnit help if I leave the tan longer on than 2 hours? Can I sleep with the “2h express dark” ?
