Perspiration will not cause your Loving Tan products to stain your clothing. We do recommend avoiding excessive perspiration and water activities while your tan in developing.

Swimming and perspiration will cause your tan to fade faster than usual so we suggest rinsing off as soon as possible.

As per the warning on our label, we always recommend avoiding contact with light fabrics and furnishings, especially while your tan is developing, to avoid any tan transferring.

Yes, you can use Loving Tan 2 Hour Express Deluxe Bronzing mousse on your face. We recommend applying a layer of moisturiser first and then a very light layer of self tan on top (the moisturiser acts as a barrier to prevent over development).

We have a lot of customers who use the product on their face but highly recommend rinsing it off earlier than your body as you don’t want your face to be as dark as your body. We also suggest using a make-up sponge to apply.

All of our Loving Tan mousses are amazing and are made using the highest quality, naturally derived products.

Both variations of our mousses are very easy to apply and include a topical bronzer to show you where you are spreading the clear, active ingredients.

The difference between the Deluxe Bronzing mousse and the 2 hour Express mousse is simply the wash off time. The 2 hour Express range requires a minimum development time of two hours before you rinse off the excess bronzer. Similarly, the Deluxe range requires a minimum development time of eight hours. Results once developed are the same; with the express product offering the convenience of washing off the bronzer earlier.

All products are water proof once developed and last 7-10 days on the skin. Once the tan has developed and following the washing off of the bronzer, there should be no transfer onto clothing.

For first time customers with fair skin who are not experienced tanners, we always recommend starting with Deluxe Bronzing Mousse in the medium shade. Once you are more confident with our Loving Tan products and seeking a deeper tan, we suggest progressing to the dark shade.

It is possible to achieve a lighter tan using the 2 hour mousses. Simply rinse off the tan earlier at 1hour (rather than 2 hours).

This will prevent the tan development and will give you a lighter shade.

Then in summer if you require a darker tan, you can leave on for the full 2 hours or apply either an extra or thicker layer.

You can definitely leave the 2HR Express Mousse on longer, it will just deepen the colour of the tan.

We do recommend avoiding excessive perspiration while your tan in developing.

It is always best to wash your hair, shave/wax and exfoliate prior to applying Loving Tan products. I would also recommend doing all this at least 8 hours before you apply the tan so that your pores have had time to close.

After you have applied your tan, it is best to wait a day or so before shaving. If you exfoliate after applying the tan, this process will remove it.

A tip when showering is to rinse off the bronzer with just water and pat dry gently. I would also recommend avoiding washing your hair & shaving until your tan has had the full 24 hours to develop. This will ensure a longer lasting, deeper tan.

If you want an even deeper tan, you can let the mousse develop on your skin for 6-8 hours. :)

Loving Tan tanning products are a very stable solution and have a shelf life of 6-12 months once opened. This is dependent on how it is stored and can last up to 18 months if kept out of direct sunlight and in cool location.
