I love it! I grew up in Fiji and it's the closest in flavour to what we had there and always so fresh and crunchy. The noodles area favourite

Majans Bhuja Original Mix

published

The packet I brought last week was packed full of noodles – “cheap carbohydrates”. There were ZERO (NIL) sultanas and minimal peas and peanuts. Just padded out with cheap noodles.

Bhuja management need to review their Quality Control processes to confirm why this has occurred. I won't be wasting money anymore money on this product because it is just a packet of "high fat - high cheap carbs"!!

Unless, it is managements remit to cut cost by filling it up with cheap noodles (carbs) hoping that the consumer is dumb enough to acceptable this poor quality filler.

Don't purchase this expense snack because it is filled with cheap high fat carbs!

Favourite snack, however.....

published

I would average at least one packet per week being eaten in our house. However the two packets that I purchased today are primarily just noodles, noodles and more noodles! Consider this expensive just for noodles. Loved the previous mixture and would love to know "why the change in the mixture"

Am now favouring the "Trail Mix" packets. Absolutely delicious and worth five stars!

Definitely gone downhill...

published

Agree with first post. I would have given it no stars if it was possible.

I have recently purchased a pack and its all peanuts (cheap nuts) and barely any sultanas or peas. When I used to regularly purchase them in 2011 the mix of ingredients was a perfect combination. I dont think I'll be buying this product anymore. This used to be my favourite snack but it has really gone downhill :(

Too many low quality nuts, not enough sultanas, peas and chip things

Mostly consists of small low quality nuts, few sultanas - not like the image on the pack

published

One year ago the mix was perfect with a balanced blend of ingredients. Now the contents are mostly terrible tasting nuts, few sultanas and hardly any of the peas and noodles. I contacted the company in case there was a quality problem, but have been ignored - I don't want to eat that many nuts so will not be buying them again. Pity since I usually eat two packs a week and have been doing so for the last five years.
Used to be a good product
Too many poor tasting nuts

These are a good Indian snack which taste good and are crunchy. They arent the healthiest snacks, so probably not a regular purchase. They arent too spicy, so should suit most people looking for a different snack to try.
These are a tasty Indian style snack with raisins, chickpea flour crunchy chips, fried peas, peanuts and spices. They arent too hot (as in chilli hot) and they are pretty crunchy. They come in a reseasable bag which is a plus.
A bit expensive, sometimes comes on sale. I dont buy this variety too often because it has a lot of the fried peas and raisins instead of the good crunchy chips in it.
