This is one seriously warm sleeping bag with a comfort level of -17 C and an outrageous -41 C Extreme limit.
I am one of those crazy ultra-light hikers and while this bag is overkill for most Australian conditions it's amazing warmth allows me to sleep in the snow without a mat or tent thus saving kilos of inefficient weight. In lieu of a sleeping mat I firmly compress the snow and use 2 emergency blankets end to end to form a protective layer from moisture. This gives me a reliable sleep system of around 1.65kg that takes less than 5 mins to break camp and start skiing.

Malachowski are not well known in Australia but I bought mine from Globewalker along with some other very beautiful cold weather equipment.

Recently bought this down bag and love it! It lofts beautifully! I took it to Tasmania and I was really warm in it. Extremely light and enough warmth for minus temperatures.
Very light and warm. Excellent quality
