Big light blue bag - Beats huggies!
Just great! I hated Aldi wipes that are sold in small dark blue packages. Lucky my friend told me to try "premium" wipes. My little girls skin is very sensitive but never had an issue with these.
+ Thick and wet enough.
+ Price!!
- only sold in 240 packages.

Terrible rash from added ingredients
My daughter used mamamia wipes for my granddaughter and it caused a terrible rash.
We worked out that the 2 suspect ingredients were Sodium Benzoate preservatives & Potassium Sorbate. These ingredients were not in the another brand of wipes we bought and the rash has gone!
Make sure you check all ingredients that are used on your child's delicate skin. This stuff is being absorbed into there skin too.
Even better, go old school and use a face washer & warm water instead.

Terrible stay away from these wipes
These wipes gave my son severe nappy rash. They are also terrible to use hardly any moisture. Cheap and nasty! Will never use these again and they should be banned by the other reviews people are giving with similar experiences. My baby was so sore and red very disappointing aldi.

Very sad red baby :(
Used these wipes for the first time and they caused by babies skin to go bright red within seconds which remained red and sore all day. Baby was distraught. Anywhere I had used the wipe was bright red including hands and face.
Had to bath baby to soothe him as he was desperately uncomfortable. What on earth is in this product??

Does the job
All I can say is that these wipes do the job. I found them the best for cleaning poo - very easy and can be done with one wipe. They have the right level of moisture, however the last few in the pack are more wet than the rest, and I'll often have to wring them to avoid nappy rash. My only criticism is that more often then not they come out in a ribbon instead of one at a time. But otherwise they do the job.

Good for cleaning not for bub
Found these dry out really quick yes they are thick but have no softness and every time I grab one they all come out so need two hands. Brought a bulk pack they are great for spills and cleaning no good for using on Bub as they cause a rash and he cries every time I use them on him as they are so course.

Great for the price!
Firstly, there are a few different kinds of baby wipes that you can get and not all of them are as good as each other. The worst, in my experience, is the fragrance free one - which is in the dark blue packaging. It's dry and not very absorbent. The dark orange one (which is scented) is better, but isn't as .. delicate on my daughter's bottom. She hasn't gotten nappy rash from it but can go a touch red if her nappy is changed more than once in two hours. The best one is the yellow one which is baby powder scented. It smells nice, has the right...Read more
amount of wetness and has never caused any irritation. This one though, of course, is really hard to get. In fact, I think they might have discontinued it? Figures. Compared to the other brands we've tried, they hold up pretty well particularly when you factor in the lower price. But from discussions with friends, it really depends on your baby and their skin on whether this product will work for you. I would definitely encourage you to try the dark orange or yellow ones, and if your child does not show signs of irritation, stick with it. It'll save money.Similar opinion? 50/50. Here's why...
Im a big fan of Aldi products, however, I am a little torn on these. The price is great, they smell ok, but they are drier than other brands and quite "stingy/strong" on my baby's skin. I bought heaps of these before I had bub, but replaced them and then put these in the car (they are great for spills, doggy nose art on windows, dash-dust etc).

Terrible nappy rash
This product has caused terrible nappy rash on my child. It contains methylisothiazolinone. Our GP suggested I look at the ingredients after months unable to work out why bub had constant rash. This chemical has been banned in the UK due to the increase in allergies in both babies and mums.
Watch out for other Aldi products that contain this chemical such as the hand wash.

Best I have tried so far
I have reviewed a few other baby wipes - I have been looking for something that suits my needs and was finding it hard. I got the fragrance free wipes. I find that they are thick, almost have no smell (no strong chemical smell like other brands), moist enough to do the job but not excessively wet, good packaging with the hard pop up lid, and lastly you don't end up with 10 when trying to pull out one wipe. These were the exact characteristics I was looking for when trying the different brands. I was prepared to pay a little more for a decen...Read more
t wipe (within reason) however these have been the cheapest ones I have tried yet. I think it is lucky the cheap ones meet my needs. thick, not excessively wet, comes out of packaging easily and cheapSimilar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

2014 still good
Everyone keeps saying they aren't as good since change. I am very happy with the "new ones" never trying the old, my second favourite I have tried but for the price I am happy. Have tried huggies (they tear), both coles gumnut and woolworths comfy bots are good I find them soapy, iga $2.50 are like sand paper and Johnson's I hate the smell and do not seem as good quality to me. I love the curash ones but hard for find for $2.50 a packet! I do prefer scented wipes (I hate the smell of unscented)
I even like the bulk aldi wipes too.
Again I am happy recommend to everyone, gets job done, no rash and smells/feels good.
Quality, smell, not too soapy, price, different options
None unless you compare to double+ the price

Used to be good, will have to use another brand!
I used to love these wipes, have used them since my son was born. Now that they are made in Israel and use different ingredients they smell terrible and give my son nappy rash. I will have to change brands, really hope they change back to the old ones so I can buy them again!

terrible since the change
I used to love aldi's mamia wipes when they were made in australia but unfortunately now that they are made in israel the ingredients have changed and not to the better.
I really hope they will change them back. In the meantime I will have to look for something else
they now smell really bad and have paraben in them

Excellent wipes at such a cheap price!
I haven't tried any other brand of wipes but am so glad I chose to use the Mamia baby wipes to begin with. Very cheap to buy and does its job. Not sure if it's just me but I find that I sometimes pull out multiple wipes (which is unnecessary).
cheap, easy to use
pull out multiple wipes sometimes

A++ for quality and price!
The wipes have a good amount of moisture in them but arent so wet they just spread mess
Thick but not so thick that you have to use more wipes (johnsons) to clean messes.
Frangrance free also available.
My sensitive skinned bub has had no probs with them.
The price is excellent, with single and bulk packs available!
Inexpensive, reliable, quality product.

Great wipes at a great price!
I bought these wipes and love them. But I love the refills more - they are thick and wet enough for me to clean up my little one's mess. Like both the unscented and the scent ones, did not cause my boy any problems at all. Price is good and cheaper than those big brands even when they are on sale.
Thick, inexpensive, cleans well
That Aldi do not sell the tub anymore, I need to buy a tub to refill elsewhere..

Excellent Wipes!!
These Aldi wipes are a must for any busy mum with bub or kids! They are cheap and can also be purchased in buk packs to save extra cost. They are thick and have enough moisture but not too much. They pu out of the packet easy and i have never put my finger thru it! I would highly recommend these as they are great for the price and much cheaper than most brand of wipes on the market!
Unscented for sensative skin, soft and great moisture content

Have never had a finger go through one & always moist!
