Treated like dirt!!
Started there for the second time in about September 2022, never saw my case Manager and never signed a job plan, they used an old one and just changed the date. Started working in Jan 2020 doing a temp position and they still expected me to go to appointments even though it was a full time position,I was so disgusted I cancelled my claim with Centrelink as they really made it hard for me.

Max employment is Extremely inefficient and badly run
When I was with the box hill branch from the June of 2017 to the April of 2018 all they did is they gestured me to the computer and expected me to do all the work and the staff sat back and did practically nothing. They said I should be getting paid for the things I'm doing at Cafe salvo in the March of 2018, not knowing who the salvation army is. On what would be my last appointment they said the same thing and if I don't get my employers number then they'll have my payment from centrelink suspended.

knowledge of it and when me and my mother discovered this from centrelink as well that max employment got me to a different employment agency instead of CVGT we were annoyed, thankfully we told the employment agency there was a mistake and we were able to get my details to CVGT and after that mum lodged a formal complaint to max employment. The manager at the Box Hill branch of Max employment was very apologetic and the workers of the Box Hill branch ended up getting disciplined for it. Don't waste your time with max employment because they are no help and they only care about you working for the dole rather than an actual job so again don't waste your time with max employment.

Disempowerment, Fraud and Privacy Violations
Worked for Max Employment in WA. Colleagues of mine would frequently defraud job plans but would also use statury declarations to frequebtly explain missing money that they claimed had been used for legitimate business purposes. Colleagues were racist and prejudiced towards jobseekers and would speculate neeflessly aboyt their character in the context of their mental health. etting digitally entered into the ESS system and were accesses freely by staff without any footprint. Staff would read them, let them pile up and there was never any trace that the documents were received or accessed. At one point the manager binned half of the documents in their "Shred X" safe disposal bin because there were simply too many to go through and difitally enter after the fact. Some of the documents there when I started dated back in excess of ten months. The government and public should be aware that MAX Employment may receive your documents, including medical and mental health records, and instead of entering them in the system may just bin them or show them about the office before doing so.Similar opinion? What a Joke
Max Employment Salisbury and Elizabeth SA are the biggest joke I've ever heard. The most disorganized lying I've ever had the displeasure of dealing with. I am suspect that they are rorting the system for funding saying they are referring people to jobs but they are jobs thy have no hope i hell of getting..Thy lie and they will say and do anything to protect their own butt. My advice is do not deal with Max Employment. Tell Centrelink that you DO NOT want to deal with shady scamming that are rorting the system. Shonky shady that should be run out of town

Max Employment Campbelltown
I remember years ago when the government had the CES which had government employees dedicated to help you find employment. How things have changed, now we have these inept organisations such as MAX Employment at Campbelltown which are there solely out of greed. They could care less about the unemployed getting work, they are there to crack the whip and make sure you turn up for their useless appointments so they can collect more money from the government. I feel sorry for the unemployed having to deal with these money grabbing grubs who last year made $55 million dollars while the unemployed have to try to figure out how to survive on $40 a day.

Omhg.... where do I start?

his afternoon as rude as she could bloody get had the door locked on me at 4pm (not even closing time) and her excuse is she can lock it when she likes, decided it wasnt her fault my payments were suspended and she happily repeated herself from the week before that she told me she threatened to suspend my payments because I was 25mins late to my first appointment (which I thought was scheduled for later) but when someone else walked in 3hours late to his appointment, there was no mention of his payment suspension, just an its okay we will fix it up for you. But being told by one of her employees, dressed as skimpy as she could have been(wear your underwear everywhere and thats equivalent to what she had on), said to give her a call and she would sort me out as she walked out laughing and not to mention the little fist she made and kept hurling her comments through the door. As Im on the phone to the complaints office another employee, my job provider [name removed], as smart as he could be piped up and asked to speak to the complaints office himself because I was making false accusations, but as the lady on the phone can hear I was not making any of this up, and started laughing whilst him and the manager had a good laugh over their own compliant put in about me. Then not to mention I was basically physically ushered out of their door where the manager happily told me she was the manager and she did what she liked and that she would win this over me because no one would believe me, shes a manager of a building and no one believes unemployed helpless beings like myself. She also told me she didnt ACA I hope you reply to my message. I will get them shut down! Rude, arrogant, stuck up entitled knob jockeys. care about anything I had to say or tell other people because yet again, who would believe me, right? Max employment seems to have changed name to max solutions
We have employees who are being harassed to attend meetings with this company in their work time at our busiest time of year when we absolutely need them at work. Why? max employment sutherland staff are rude and unhelpful
I was spoken to rudely by a very argumentative member of staff at sutherland max employment during my phone interview, i was new to this service but had met all my requirements. sn't yet receiving financial assistance from centerlink, just treated unfairly, as this staff member raised her voice and made me feel very verbally attacked and not supported. I am a shy person and require encouragement, the phone call was also very rushed on her part, i wasn't allowed to explain my situation. I was with Max Employment for several years at Wynnum. Just when I was I developing a rapport with one consultant, they leave and I got shoved off to another person and have to explain my depression and anxiety all over again. Then I got assigned to KATE who I explained about not having morning appointments. She scheduled a morning appointment, when I couldn't make it, she suspended my payment on my BIRTHDAY.

I am a business owner. Wasted my time, wasted potential candidates time
I was called by a Peter Sim (Candidate) for a job (I had not advertised and did not have going). Apparently a David Cormier / Corner referred him to me. I have never dealt with this organisation and never expressed that I wanted any employees. Spoke with 4 different people. No one knew what was going on, including the business service manager who mixed up names and had no clue what was going on (she called me). Worked in recruitment for 2 years before becoming a business owner and I'm astounded at the incompetency especially when dealing with kids that are trying to get employment.

Horrible people to deal with at Campbeltown
I was at the Campbelltown office for quite a while - Hi [name removed]! They never helped me gain employment, all they do is send people to these useless courses. Honestly in my opinion they are like fleas on a dog. Parasites that take loads of government money when it could be going to raising the Newstart allowance. I bet they do not live on $40 a day. This whole set up is a disgrace orchestrated by the Liberals who are fond of bashing anyone on welfare that cannot get employment. I guess they will never find themselves in my situation, another bunch of blood sucking parasites.

I rang Max Employment Thursday afternoon the 15th of August. I was looking for them to provide a candidate for a picking & packing position I have going at the moment. The woman who took my call initially sounded gruff and annoyed that the phone rang until she realised I was an employer not someone looking for work. Her tone changed immediately. She was then quite helpful and said that the Redcliffe office would call me to discuss further. Today is Wednesday the 21st of August and no one has rung me. No wonder max Employment has such poor reviews. I feel sorry for the unemployed who are relying on this company.

Pointless
I've been going for the last 8 months. Haven't helped me at all. Basically each appointment goes like this: so what jobs are you looking for? Me: blablabla, them: okay look in the cbd. Come back in a month google work in the meantime. (like I'm not already looking? I do the 20 jobs apps per month, plus extra, idiots)
my next appointment they want to look for work with me on the computer, waste of time and the whole agency is a joke.

Total frauds
What an abuse of tax-payers money! This agency does absolutely nothing to assist people to find employment and they treat their customers with total disdain and ridicule. I was told that as an older Newstart recipient living in a tiny rural town that they would only start to assist me to find a job after 3 months of me making attempts on my own. ked who on earth did they think would want a nearly 60 year old, totally out of practice nurse looking after them? Whenever I tried to change my appointment with them for what I believe genuine reasons (such as my carer responsibilities for my mother with dementia and an elderly brother with cerebral palsy, only weekly public transport from my town to their nearest MAX office 65 kms away etc), their only response was that if I didn't turn up, my Newstart would be cancelled. Awful
They receive up to $85-$110 per person per appointment, plus $5000 for activities they sign people up for. Any wonder they keep making me weekly appointments, despite I'm supposed to only have monthly appointments? Now their making me attend job searching appointments for 1 hour every week until I find a job, or sign up for work for the dole! They claim its apart of their "new policy". Terrible liars! To add to the irony, they've never once mentioned any jobs they have, or any that would be of interest to me...Has any job network actually helped anyone, besides just force people to sign a paper claiming they got the job, even when they had nothing to do with it?? This is what the Mafia looks like funny enough!

Maxx employment suicide encouragement.
Maxx mildura forced me to apply for work i wasnt able to do. When it didnt work they enforced penaltys making me feel hopeless and suicidal. They have no regard for anyones welfare and only care about ordering flowers and smokos for the office!

Max Employment Cleveland insist that I do job search twice a week even during this pandemic. Can they really do this? I've been with them for 2 or 3 years now. They're idea of job search is me walking in sitting in the corner and playing with my phone for a hour and then leave. I have to this twice a week. Why can't I do this at home! They do absolutely nothing. I am not going to their germ filled office to get sick. I'm over 50 and get sinus infections a lot. If anyone is going to get this virus is me. I can't contact Centrelink as their site is down and once I get through their really long phone menu I get "Please call later". What do I do.

Hi Ant. Sorry to hear this. I used to work for Max Employment. If I am honest this does sound like the sort of thing that staff would try to enforce. They can be needlessly strict with jobseekers. I have heard everything from the belligerence and idiocy you describe to flat out racism and other forms of prejudice directed at jobseekers by max staff. The culture there is quite horrendous. Have you tried contacting the Minister for Employment and the Minister for Human Services? I think they would assist you in these circumstances. Currently the Employment Minister is Michaelia Cash and her email is [email protected] The Human Services Minister is Stuart Roberts and his email is [email protected] I highly recommend telling them what is going on there at Cleveland. Max has a long history of atrocious behaviour but putting the health of jobseekers and the community at risk is unnacceptable.

Still can't contact Centrelink by phone or by app or website. Tried emailing Michaelia Cash, but I don't expect a reply straight away. This is the same woman who hinds behind a whiteboard and says $40 a day is plenty to live on.
as of the 10th march The Government has suspended all Work for the dole, Job search, Appointments, & other activities indefinitely You shouldnt be doing anything. Max makes up their own rules as they go along. & they still had job seekers going in for job search, and Appointments 3 days ago. If you contact Centrelink they will tell you to contact The Department of employment who are in charge of the job active agencies. If you contact The Department Of employment They will tell you to transfer to another provider. If you are lucky to hear back from Michaelia Cash or her secretary you will be told to contact The Department of Employment. I complained about Max Employment To my local federal member who gave me Michaelia Cash contact details It took nearly 2 weeks to get a 5 word email from her office. Which said Contact the Department of Employment. i ended up transferring to another provider. Contact the Department of employment in Canberra & lodge a complaint they wont do much but the more people who complain the better it might push the Government into Ripping up Max contract or transfer to another provider.

Even if got the job yourself without their help they still try to claim the commission Max will threaten to cut off your payment if you dont give them They cant do that if the do Contact centrelink Max will do anything to try to make money its all they are interested in
