Have had 2 sets of MAXXIS HT760'S and very happy with the wet and dry grip and tread life, getting more than 70,000kms off both sets. Most of all the improvement in economy over the tyres that came with the car was amazing, improving 20%, which i would never have believed such a big difference was possible if i hadn't experienced. I did, however, recently decide to change over to Kumho Crugen HT51's and OMG the sound reduction is huge. Have driven over 180,000kms in my Ford Escape and never known how quiet it could be. Grip, economy and noise all excellent. If long term tread wear is as good as the dealer says then these Kumho HT51's are a big step up and got for slightly cheaper than quoted from multiple stores for replacement Maxxis.
Purchased for $160.

Had a set on from 2014, did not do a huge distance on them, maybe 60K, but punished around town when the edges wore off and rotated to there limit. Towing a caravan made one of the tyres to de-laminate and out of round due to heavier load in hot summer conditions. This was in the last 6 months.
Up to then was very pleased with them wet or dry.
Mounted on Kia Carnival. Notoriously hard on from tyres, these tyres stood up well.

Living in a rural area I travel a lot kilometres every day. I travel 3 hours each way to Melbourne once a month, work is 80 kms one way & even going to the supermarket is over 20 each way, so it’s nice to know I can rely on my tyres.

Extremely happy with them. Now I am reluctant to switch brands. Originaly, I wanted to buy Toyo tires for my 2003 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland, but the shop recommend these instead, because they were out of stock. I paid a little over $700 for all four to be installed. I went with a slightly wider tire for my factory rim (245/65/R17 instead of a the 55). My Jeep is a V-8 with Quadra Trac 2...basically All Wheel Drive. I noticed an improvement in ride from the Goodyear Wranglers that were previously on there. I've had the Maxxis HT-760 Br...
Read moreavo series 5 years now and have driven almost 60,000 miles on them. Most of them highway. I drove in the wet region of Seatte for about 20,000 miles. I then drove about 20,000 between southern Cal and Nevada. I have also driven cross country a few times (L.A. to Boston and Jacksonville, FL). I have rotated them 3 or 4 times. I admired the quite/smooth ride and they handled great. The tread wear is very even inside and out, because I kept the psi at 35. I loved them!!! Driving an SUV, I recall how they saved me a few times. One time I was driving 40 MPH and a car just decide to pull out (to make a left) of a gas station, he never looked left (at me). I had no time to break!! I swerved left crossing 2 lanes to narrowly miss him side swiping me! Untouched! No chirp or skid. I love my jeep and my tires! Their look. Quite ride. Great handling in all conditions (light snow, rain, desert heat)! Hard to find them in certain regions.ive bought these tires and for the price they are ok. they are a smooth riding tire and handle great in the snow and the rain, grip the road very well, the only problem i have is that they just dont last.my truck is a 2005 dodge dakota 4x4, i bought 2 of these tires at first due to the fact the original tires i had on the truck one of them blew out so i needed new tires so i just bought 2 at first till the others had worn out then i got 2 more so i would have a complete set of the same tires, i was really happy on the ride and the way it handle...
Read mored the pavement, i bought them in 2009 one set in july and the other in dec. the back tires are already slick and i had to replace them, the tires onle had 32456 miles on them, far less miles then there are rated at. the front tires (which were bought in dec 2009) are also going to have to be replaced soon the tread has about 5000 miles left on them if i am lucky now they only have 23485 miles on them. i was happy with the tires due to the fact of the price and the way they handled but i hate the tires due to the fact they dont last or live up to there ratings. i went out and bought some prodigy tires which are made by yokahama, and so far i am happy with them, they are rated pretty well and the ride in my opinion is much better then the maxxis. Price and ride Don't last way below the rating figure
