If you are going back to work or bottle feeding this is a must have purchase that is worth every penny!
Got this when I went back to work, what a difference from the manual pump! I am now pumping enough for the whole day in only two sessions. Light rucksack I can pack everything in the night before and an ice block that keeps milk cold all day. Adjustable suction strength means no pain. I,t is so quick, I get 100-150 mls in 15 mins so I can still pump quickly in between meetings if I have a busy day.

This is a great pump. I used it on the go and it worked great for me. I think it is value for money. Highly recommended.

I had another brand and had nothing but problems with reliability. Warranty claims and not being able to use the product that I purchased.

I but the bullet and spent a few extra dollars on this Medela Pump in style and have not looked back.

It has been reliable, easy to use and allows me to express very quickly.

I recommend other new mums do their research and make sure you do not pick a product based on price alone.

2 phase expression, can express very quickly - easy to use.

This pump is very easy to operate and makes expressing relatively easy. Not sure if I needed the double pump in the end though (could have got a Swing) because I tend to express one side at a time. Will be more useful when I return to work though.
Quiet, portable and easy to use. Love the backpack, makes it easy to express anywhere and comes with most the necessary accessories (bottles, hand pump etc). Electric or battery operated. 2 phase expression mimics baby behaviour (faster at beginning and then slower and stronger in 2nd phase).
2nd phase expression does not work properly (you press this button when let down happens to move to phase 2).

Worth every cent. Highly recommended!!! Fantastic for increasing your milk supply or for freezing your breastmilk. Nothing else compares, dont waste your money or your time on a hand held pump or a mini electric. If you want something that works and is efficient and easy to use, this is the pump for you.
Quick and efficient - works like magic! It is just as good as the hospital grade ones as it has the same motor.

I have been expressing for 8 months (can't get bub to take formula) and there is no way that I would have been able to do it without this pump. Love it, love it love it.

I really like this pump, I just wished that the 2 phase switch worked better. The backpack is great and its easy to carry around when you need it in other places than home.
It pumps really well, as good as the hospital pump and easy to pack up and take wherever you like with everything you need.
Like others have said, the 2 phase switch does not work properly and needs to be turned on and off again and again in order to get it to switch to the second phase which can be annoying

Absolutely the best available on the domestic market for home use, it performs as good as if not better than the hospital grade machines. I would have no hesitation in recommending this pump to any mum who needs one.
Everything about this unit is great, it looks great, its easy to use, and most importantly it works.
None, well maybe a bit pricey but quality always is.

Fantastic unit, it is not that bulky as their product photo, you can actually take out the motor unit (still has its own material casing, and closes with Velcro) and its quite small. I've used a Medela Mini electric pump before I purchased this Pump In Style, it is way better. It is quite pricy but if money is not an issue go straight to it.
Loved everything about this pump. I had very little milk supply before I tried this pump, and after using it for a month, the milk supply increased by miles.
If you do take it out and about to somewhere there is no powerpoint, the battery pack requires quite a lot of batteries. Quite pricy.

The best you can get! 2 phase expression. I expressed all my feeds full time and was very happy. Perhaps other brands may have pieces that look a little nicer, but if you are after results and easy clean up, this is for you without a doubt. Parts/accessories are readily available. All in self contained backpack is discreet and very organised. Highly recommended!
Very well designed, robust as based on hospital "Symphony" quite simply effective. Simple parts = simple cleaning.
Expensive at about $500.00 (You get what you pay for)

This product really is a case of you get what you pay for. If you are going to be doing any level of pumping, ie more than just occassional then I would get this especially if you plan on having more than one child (because then you will get more use out of it). It just makes life easier and makes better use of your time and really, what new mum doesn't need that?!
The pump is easy to use, looks good, comes with lots of accessories, it is easy to clean...I could go on. It's all good with this pump!
You have to pump both breasts at once. It would be good if there was an option to pump just one at a time for those occasions where it's needed - granted it's not that often.

I would highly recommend this product especially to anyone who has to pump regularly. It comes with some handy accessories. I am still using the bottles, cooler bag and ice pack now even though I don't use the pump any more. It is well worth spending the extra money to purchase this pump.
This is a fantastic unit. It is compact and easy to carry about. It comes with a battery pack for portable use. I used my full time for about 5 months (after using a hospital grade hire pump)and found it to be fantastic. It worked just as well as the hospital pumps and is fairly quiet also.

I love this pump. I express full time and this has been a life saver. Powerful enough to keep supply up for exclusive expressing. The adjustable suction is fantastic. So is being able to double pump which yeilds more milk in half the time. The 2 phase expression helps let down happen faster. It comes from a well known company leading the way! It comes with standard size flanges however Medela make smaller and larger ones to fit all women. You can also get a car adpater to pump on the move. Fantastic product!!!

I love this product, it help me a lot to express my milk. The components are so easy to clear,so even I express during night time, I don't feel any trouble at all. It realy worths the money.
Easy to use, and easy to clear. I just need to hold the breastshields, save my energy.
The breastshields are easy to turn to yellow after I boiled them couple time for sanitizing. And it is expensive.

This pump allowed me to feed my LO EBM exclusively for 4 months. She breast refused from day one and I was determined that she would have breast milk. So I decided to take the route of bottle feeding her EBM. I kept this up for 4 mths and would not have been able to do so without this pump. It is fantastic! I never had any discomfort of any kind. The backpack and battery pack allowed me to take it to so many different places.
Could not have survived without it! Effective, fast, easy to carry in the backpack.
As with other reviewers sometimes the 2nd phase did not switch on.
