A disappointing experience for me & my family
I joined round 2 of 2013 to lose some excess baby weight I gained with my second child. I ran to lose weight with my first but due to an injury I wasn't able to run this time.
I found the program confusing initially but was able to nut it out by using the forums, which really, was just asking other participants.....

Unrealistic exercise for older, injured or unfit participants
A slickly designed programme with the usual motivational hype and community member support. However, unless you are already pretty lithe and fit the exercise programme is unrealistic. I am 59 yo, have a variety of malfunctioning body parts, but have still managed to do 90 minutes gym programme three days per week, box, lift weights and do a personal trainer session each week and lead an active lifestyle, so expected I would be able to manage this. re before I even started! I spent ages wading through the alternative exercises but still couldn't get a good programme suitable for my needs. Thank goodness my personal trainer is more understanding and able to adjust stuff for me. Food wise, there is a lot of reading and preparation required and some recipes are a lot of effort for very little return. I am still doing the programme but have taken the basics of the diet and have prepared meals that are more balanced and palatable with less prep than most of those on the website. I think it is mostly hype and personally I am better of with my usual personal trainer and dietitian - I guess the appeal for others lies in the community style motivation and support of the forums. Great program, fantastic food and it works !
After trying lots of diets over the years in desperation I joined round 2 of 12wbt 12 weeks ago. I have now lost 8 kilos ( wanted to loose 10) and have absolutely loved it. The food program is great and yummy and not too time consuming with options if you wish to change meals around. My family of four have really enjoyed the meals and the variety is great . ill worked!) with the online DVDs great if you cant get to the gym or outside to exercise . Probably the one downside is the website is not that interactive - I used my fitness pal to record my calories- and if you didn't weigh in there was no online follow up . The forums looked good not that I used them that much . I still think it is like any diet, you need to be in the right frame of mind or it won't work but its worked for me and I loved it . I m going to join again, and really for $200 for 3 months or $16 a week it's great value ( what's that a couple of takeaway coffees a week or the cost of a weekly takeaway pizza - must admit I didn't buy hardly any takeaway during the 12 weeks) . So can recommend it for sure The food is fantastic, yummy and quick to prepare ( might need to buy a few extra pantry items to start with thou) The website isn't very interactive but there are ways around that .Similar opinion? I love this programme
I've completed 2 rounds of the Michelle Bridges 12 week body transformation programme and absolutely love it. Even though I couldn't exercise a lot because of injury, I still lost weight. I love having new and interesting recipes to try which are generally quick and easy and delicious. I've just signed up for the next round and really looking forward to the inspiration I gain from this programme.

Enjoying every bit if it!!!
Cant believe I'm on a diet, food is fantastic. The whole set up is great..It's just hard to decide what yummy things to eat next..It takes a little time to organise your life around it all, but when your all set up its wonderful to follow.. I've been dieting and excercising for a year prior but still lost 4kilo the 1st week..woohoo!!!!

I changed my life
I lost 28kgs in 14 weeks! and it has been 2 months since i reached my goal weight and i have kept it off! I am now using the michelle bridges 12 week running program to train for a half marathon.
The range of programs available is incredible, the forums are supportive and well monitored, I never read anything negative (unlike other programs ABBBC) and all my questions were answered.

Awesome Program
This program is effectual as well as educational. Mish deals with all aspects relating to weight loss. Great recipes, great workouts and interesting mindset lessons that help you understand why you have become overweight and how to avoid it from happening again. I definitely would highly recommend this to everyone!

Great
Great program, pleanty of healthy recipes and exercise routines. Comes with Menus, snip tips and motivational videos as well as forums to communicate with other people on the same journey. You are aslo given tasks to complete and have the chances of winning prizes. This program educates you on how to eat healthy and exercise right. Would recommend this to everyone.

you need to continue on. It is not simply a diet to lose weight it is a lifestyle change. The most important part in my opinion is the mind set lessons. You are given tasks to complete which help you recognise why you make the food choices you do and how to change that. In the 12 weeks i lost 11kg and have made so many new friends and have learnt sooooo much about myself and how to become a better version of myself. Try this program! I did it 3x had great results
Great exercise plans cater to all and good diets
Overall great program
But you need to be self motivated
As from my experience they never get back to any questions I had no customer support

Hi Anne, I was also a gym goer and already quite fit when I did the 12wbt and I got great results. This will definitely motivate you to keep up your fitness. Perfect timing during this time. I still use her recipes and have keep up exercises. I have all her dvds and have been using them during this time of isolation. I would totally recommend this program especially now.

How much is the average food shop per week? i have done this before and lost a tonne but I remember thinking it was $$$

If your pantry is a healthy one and your regular shop is to, I found it was just really a tighten up on products I don't think it's any more expensive than a regular shop, I still believe this is one of the best deals around, it's not a diet it's a lifestyle change and the food is only turned to energy which I found got me more motivated because I wasn't eating garbage therefore had more energy and lost weight
