Best dishwasher
By far the best of all the dishwashers ive had. I am lucky enough to find one at the Melb clearance centre at a good price. Best wash results inc avocado and eggs which never always washed off in other brands ive had over the years. I always use sensor wash as my go to program as its supposed to sense how dirty and full the load is and adjust its wash accordingly. Noticed it uses less energy and by far the quietest DW ive ever owned. Though ive had an error msg come up a Couple times, ive called Miele and they helped me fix it myself by keeping...Read more
it unplugged overnight. Often dont know its running unless i open the door as its soooooo quiet. My fave thing is the automatic open door at end of wash, especially because i turn it on before bed and when i wake everything inc plastics are dry.best value and wash results ever!!!Purchased in November 2021 at Miele Clearance for $970.00.

product care
I have had a Miele dishwasher for only 12 months. I experienced an error message and the dishwasher stopped working. After talking to customer care, i had a local technician come and look at the problem.
The technician while friendly had to visit 4 times to attempt to resolve the issue, believing it to be the pump then the data board.
During the whole time i must say Miele were very supportive, efficient and it resolved in me getting a complete replacement unit, well done Miele.

Works well, very quiet, arranging dishes, pots, etc. is fiddly
This dishwasher is very quiet - even on the normal settings. Our house layout and walls make us very sensitive to the noise, so compared to the previous 20 y/o, we're very happy. Our previous Miele was a slightly cheaper model, but it survived multiple house moves and 20 years without servicing!
The quality of the clean is excellent - better than our previous model.
I'm still getting used to the internal layout regarding stacking things. I find it more fiddly than the previous model, but I do seem to be able to get more in - particularly ...Read more
larger items. We have large dinner plates and they need to be positioned carefully to keep them upright. It hasn't caused any problems and the design probably helps accommodate capacity. My one complaint / gripe are the installation instructions. As this was a straight swap over I did it myself. It went well, but the diagrams are not clear enough, particularly because there are no explanations. Specifically the positioning of the metal strip you need to screw under the bench top. It seems to be to protect the bench top / edge from steam after it opens. All up it took me a couple of hours to install as I was being very cautious. A sales person from a different store tried to sell us on the Asko because it had an internal fan and claimed the Miele didn't dry as well because of the convection drying design. The Miele design works perfectly. We've had this dishwasher about 1 month. So far so good, but we've always been happy with Miele products we've purchased. The extra cost justifies their life span and performance.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Not worth it.
Given the hefty price tag this machine carries, I expected much better. It washes ok, but not consistantly. We also have a problem stacking our dinner plates which are very standard, round dinner plates. When I place the fourth plate into position, it springs out and knocks all the other plates over, which are only hanging on by a thread. I contacted Miele about this issue and they were initially very sympathetic, but when I pressed for a solution and offered photos as evidence, they become very defensive and eventually put the blame on me. Sad...Read more
ly we actually spent more money for the the aledged great customer service offered by Miele! I see that other Miele owners have complained about this feature/issue with their dishwasher and also poor washing results. We have decided to return the machine with considerable reluctance as Miele will charge us a 20% restocking fee, which I contemplated contesting in VCAT, but cannot afford the time involved in that option. We will not be considering any Miele products in the future based on this customer service and product experience. My advice would be to buy Bosch, our previous machine was a Bosch Lifestyle and it performed impeccably and much, much cheaper. Immer Besser? Mein Arsch!2 comments

Hasn't skipped a beat
Bought this dishwasher after our last one caught fire. It was 20 odd years old so no dramas there. Bought Miele as I wanted a dishwasher that would last 20 years again. Hopefully I'll get that. My parents' Miele is at about 10 years so things are looking good.
Anyway the unit was easy to install on my own. Setup was a breeze, and I've had not a single minor issue so far. Only thing I can think that could be improved is the childproofing. My 18 month old is starting to press buttons and there's no way to prevent them starting the machine. The...Read more
re is however a lock that prevents them from opening it up. I opted for the larger model, but probably didn't need it. Hopefully it'll come in useful one day but we hand wash pans anyway so maybe not. The cutlery draw is fantastic and worth going to Miele for on its own! My main gripe with it are the racks. They simply don't hold my plates very well. I have Royal Doulton Gordon Ramsey Maze crockery and nothing from the set fits well - dinner plates, bowls, small plates nor mugs. I've managed to find a way to pack it but it's not ideal. Loses a star for this.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Great design!
What a cleverly designed machine. I love the versatility in relation to the different tray options making it easy to fir almost any sized items in and the super sleek presentation of the machine which would compliment any design of kitchen with its digital display and square contemporary look. You're able to fit quite a lot in the one wash and all of the dishes come out clean and having the auto open at the end of the cycle avoids any smells or wet dishes especially if you pop it on before leaving for work or at night.

Couldn't be happier with our dishwasher!
Our Miele dishwasher is perfect for my evergrowing family. It is quiet when its running through any of its cycles, it cleans the dishes spotless and dries them perfectly! Being a mother of 3 children (plus a husband) I don't always have time to do the dishes every meal time. Just gently rinsing off the plates than stacking my Miele through the day and starting it at night is perfect. Wake up in the morning and voila! Couldn't be happier.

Questions & Answers
Aliasked
Hi there! Just wondering about whether the door of this dishwasher stays open when loading. On some other Miele models, reviewers have said it swings closed which is quite annoying. Welcome your advice, thanks!

This model, and I suspect the other models are similar, have an adjustment for the door spring. You can set it however you want. Mine came quite springy (ie it closed itself) but I loosened it to where I preferred. It can be loosened so it practically falls down, so there should be a spring setting to suit everybody.
