Does a 2022 triton come with a cabin filter fitted as standard or do I have to fit one myself
Does a 2022 triton come with a cabin filter fitted as standard
What model variant?
Should do and it should be a 7803A112 positioned behind the glove box.
Once the glove box and filter retainer gate is removed, gently push the middle of the filter and quickly release your finger to spring the filter out otherwise it’s a bit of a pig
When driving on a bumpy road something feels loose in the front left hand wheel or suspension of my MQ 2015 Triton what could it be
Buzzing sound from Passersby side air vent... Told by Mitsubishi Service department this is normal yet all the other vents remain quiet??
Passenger side air vent!!
Also, when I turn on the rear window heater to clear it the light comes on at the switch but it makes a loud clicking sound under the glove box... Broken fuse perhaps??
Sounds like faulty relay. Passenger vent noise is known fault. Some vanes on the vent were faulty and break, causing a slight hissing noise depending on fan speed. Should be a warranty job depending on vehicle's age.
my 2015 triton jumps out of third gear when towing my caravan
My SRS light Is staying on the computer said B1610 passenger side seat belt pretentsioner squib system open circuit Can anybody help me explain this
What would cause the oil to turn to sludge? Had to replace motor. Not happy as we had the car less than 12 months.
These 'Euro' compliant motors have to be very clean, which means they direct all emissions back into the engine. Common faults are wastegate, egr and tps problems. Fit an oil separator and empty the canister at each service.
Where will i find the horns in a 2017 engine bay
How to reset power window control, Auto opening is Working but auto closing is not working. It’s 2011 triton.
I have bought aftermarket fog lamps for my MQ Triton to fit in the OEM space under the headlights. I have also bought an aftermarket Triton push switch to activate the fog lights which will be installed in the switch bank to the right of the ignition. I have pulled off the cover where the fog lights would normally sit and found a plug right there for the fog lights to plug into. Can I assume that the harness is ready to go in the cab as well as through to the fog lamp mounting area? Will this harness have a relay in circuit already? Hoping i can just "plug and play". Any ideas?
A/T oil turned brown after 50 k kilometres. Is this ok?

2017 triton 4x4 sensor light staying on, dealer says the wire is damaged and not covered by warranty, the vehicle hasnt been off road in months. Is this poor engineering and has anyone else had the issue?
That's a shame. You would think all wiring should be out of the way so you CAN go 4 wheel driving on rough tracks off road. If it is just a matter of a mechanic or auto electrition rejoining or soldering the wire together, it should prob. only take 15 minutes work for 35 or $40 or so. How much did they quote? Have a look underneath & you will see the damage done when off road. Any physical damage like that naturally is not covered by warranty, otherwise they would put it thru' & charge Mitsu.
Quote $600 and the vehicle hasnt been off road???
They tell us its cut in 2 places??
Something you ran over must have caught the exposed wiring. Get a quote [or 2] from an Auto electrician who will rewire the broken section & show you the break. It should be cheaper than $600 I would think.
I bought a 2018 Blackline 1 year ago, currently got 18,000ks on the clock, since new when driving down hill or on the flat between 80km/hr to 100km/hr with the throttle backed off and then going up a hill or low incline, applying the throttle to maintain speed, the car randomly will start slowing down to around 60 km/hr, revs go to 3,500rpm and car continues to slow, applying the throttle to the floor increases revs but car still slows.
If I pull over with the car running, wait 30 seconds and drive off the car accelerates as normal and goes up to speed at 2.000rpm, no more problems. Might do it the next day or not for 2 months.
Keep asking the dealer, who will obviously have problems finding an intermittent problem. A loose connection? It may be some sensor on the way out.
Mq triton 2017 steering column rattle driving over bumps on the road also when car is off and when I try to turn steering wheel left/right repeatedly knocking sounds coming from under the steering wheel and also from somewhere in the engine bay and knocking can be felt through steering wheel. Car is still under warranty and Mitsubishi service center telling me that there is nothing wrong. Just wandering if anyone else had a same problem and what was the fix. Thanks.
Obviously something is prematurely worn or coming loose. Turning the radio up to 115 decibels will not fix the fault, so go to a different dealer who may look harder or put a new steering box in it. If they can not fix it, get them to ask the Mitsu specialist dept. to call in to consult with them BEFORE it runs out of warranty & costs you thousands.
