By far the most durabe pram we have owned
Thoroughly impressed. We have 4 Children, and we have had our fair share of expensive and cheap prams. Out of all of them, the mountain buggy has been the best. It is strong, easy to use, rolls over any surface, and if you need arts, easy to get. (Due to traveling heaps, we have needed a few tyres and tubes along the way)

Easy to use, good size, practical
It's easy to fold, fits in my small car and easy to clean.
The handle bars are adjustable so my husband doesn't have to hunch over to use. Baby loves it, and reclines easy when she's asleep.
Only reason for not giving 5 stars is the tyres need pumping regularly and I had to replace one only after 2 months. And that tyre needed to be fitted with a different valve.
A bike shop can fix and replace tyres which is very handy.

Mountain Buggy Swift
I have had the Mountain Buggy Swift for about 3 years now and using it for our second child. Over all I am happy with it. Really my only complaint is the baring went after about 1.5 years. They were easy and relatively cheap to replace so I guess not really a biggie.

A very versatile pram
I'm so impressed with this pram. We only recently stopped using it for my daughter who is 3 now. We bought it when I was pregnant after being the only one my husband and I could agree on. I bought the adaptor for the safe n sound unity capsule, and the bassinet and am not disappointed I did. The only thing with the capsule is the adaptor could be put in two different spots on the frame and if you put it too high up it makes it top heavy. The pram itself is so easy to steer. I have used a lot of different prams and this has to be one of the most...Read more
manoeuvrable. Some people may not like the fact that the main seat can only go forward facing but this was never a problem for us as our daughter loved seeing the world and the canopy has a peep hole to check on her. If you fold the handle down, the pram could fit in the boot of our yaris quite easily. I don't find the folded size an issue and we have plenty of space in the boot of our bigger car with the pram in there. We've only had to replace an inner tube once and that was only through my husband over filling it and it popped, if you follow the recommendation for psi this shouldn't be a problem. I love that there is an infinite number of recline positions and you can do so smoothly without disturbing bub if your clever enough. A friends pram had 'click-in' recline and has only about 4 or 5 positions and it woke bub when I did this. The width between the wheels makes it so easy to fit just about anywhere. The shopping basket is not huge but is as big as the design of the pram allows. It has a recommended weight limit for the basket but I've exceeded it a few times without issues. I've now washed and packed the pram away and apart from a few scratches on the frame it is in almost perfect condition. I actually can't wait to use it for the next bub! I have recommended it to friends and other people I know who have the same pram live it just as much! We bought the sun cover, rain cover, travel bag and the wool liner and they are all great too. All in all I would not hesitate to recommend this pram if it ticks all the boxes for you. I would buy another if anything happened to ours! Versatility Seat on it's own could do with a little more padding.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Not sure what to do now.....
We purchased our swift as the ONE AND ONLY PRAM for walking around the farm on dirt roads but also wheeling around the shops. I despise massive prams and this swift fit the bill perfectly. We had it for our summer baby born 2010. She only really used it for the first two years as she (and I) are not ones for kids who can walk in prams. When she was a baby, I found it to be unsupportive for her head and holding her in there with the straps on.... I got quite nervous. And she got very hot in there too. As she got older, you can't sit them up tota...Read more
lly with the straps, they are always on a lean. We ended up pushing the whole seat kind of inside out and putting a towel up top to prop forward. After the first year, basically it started to go downhill. The bearings are totally shot and need to be replaced and the pram is rusty around the wheels. The wheels need new ones and it is very faded and the canvas has moulded. On another note, I hate the brake, you can't put it on or off with thongs (although I did and always had a bruise on my foot) or even most ballet flats and being in Queensland that is mostly all we wear all year. I also don't like the folding of the pram, it would often get caught with the wheel and just a muck around. Lastly I wasn't a big fan of the clips either, no one else could get child in or out except us and you couldn't ever do it with one hand. We are now up to baby number two and having spent what I consider to be a small fortune on a pram, I now have to think about what pram to buy, going through all this dilemma again. Anyone have any suggestions? It is not fit to have a little baby in, maybe as it gets older on the farm. Quite disappointed after doing much research. Still after the same thing - small but tough. Excellent turning and manouvering. Nice and compact for the shops, fabulous unstorage basket. Great for the first year. Didn't stand up to the 2nd year of use. Bearings are shot, brake is terrible for barefeet, doesn't sit child upright and not really suitable for first couple of months of baby's life.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Not impressed after all
In the beginning I thought this pram was wonderful.... It was easy to steer, easy to collapse into the boot of car, very light weight and could zip through aisles in the shops, that other prams just couldn't fit.
After about a year of use things started to go wrong...
After 6 months using the pram the first inner tube burst... I purchased a new inner tube from mountain buggy's website,.. $21/ tube + $8 postage... All was fine... For about a week when the front inner tube burst.. Another $29 later... I think all in all, after 2 years of use i ...Read more

Mountain Buggy Swift
I got one of the first models that were made in China. Over all I am happy with the product however I have had a few problems. The bearings clapped out much quicker than I would have expected. Not hard to replace just annoying. Also one of the inner seem supports popped through the material. Apart from that this is a reasonably good unit.
Reasonably light..

Good purchase
We have an MB swift that was made in New Zealand and it has been great. We bought it second hand and have had it for almost 4 years now. Apart from a bit of wear and tear it is doing really well. I know people who have had issues with the newer ones in terms of durability and tyre problems. So perhaps try buying one second hand or finding the few stores that still have some older NZ made prams. There is one store in Melbourne that still stocks these ones.
So easy to manoevre

A good compromise
I got the MB Urban Elite with my son, and although I liked it's ruggedness, ease of manoeuvring off road and it's comfort for him, I found it very bulky and heavy to lift in and out the car, and also very awkward and large in shops and supermarket aisles. I therefore opted for the Swift this time round. Overall it is a good buggy, but it is definitely a compromise. I have noticed a huge difference off road, as it doesn't have the suspension; several times I have bumped to an abrupt halt against a tree root or similar whilst walking in the bush ...Read more
(poor baby!), whereas the Elite would have glided over it. It also somehow doesn't feel quite as rugged, I don't know if that's anything to do with the fact they are now made in China. However, it is definitely much more manageable lifting in and out the car, and I like the lever on it which holds together and allows it to stand up if needed. It is slimmer, and although that makes it a little more snug for baby, it is a million times easier in shops and supermarket. My baby sleeps well in it. There are a few cons which I've listed below, but overall I would (and have) recommended this buggy, as it is a good all round compromise. Easy manouevring, love the slimmer frame which makes it practical for shops etc as well as off road. Light to handle. Looks great and has good sun and storm covers (although have to purchase separately). The seat doesn't go all the way upright, which is a con as my baby at nearly 8 months wants to sit forward now. I also have the lovely sheepskin inner, which is wonderful, but it makes the straps a bit tight - I think they need straps to be more adjustable. Doesn't have suspension - would love this buggy with a suspension option.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Swift didn't last the distance!!
I purchased the MB Swift in 2011 when I had my first child. We spent the extra money on what we thought at the time was a quality pram hoping that it would last for two children. Unfortunately the quality of this product did not last the distance. Im not a really heavy user of the pram, the hardest terrain i use it on is grass at the park. We have replaced the types numerous times, the front wheel baring blew out while it was sitting our garage not in use. The two back wheels are really wobbly and I'm afraid to use it. Given the amount of money...Read more
we have spent on replacement parts. We could have purchased another pram. The customer service we experienced was appalling. All in all the Mountain Buggy Swift is an expensive poor quality product, if you are hoping to buy one pram and use it for several children, don't buy this product. I'm off to buy a Baby Jogger City Mini, hopefully it will last the distance. The bassinette is good but is a little small by 4months my bub grew out of it. The basket holds a decent amount of groceries Poor quality, bad costumer service, when sitting upright the fabric on the seat bunches up and doesn't leave enough room for the child to sit comfortably.1 comment

Love my Mountain Buggy
We bought our MB swift for our baby. We chose to get the bassinette attachment and the bassinette stand for sleeping at home. Until bubby was old enough to go into her cot she slept in the bassinette on the floor stand at home as well as out and about.
I haven't had any issues with the Swift and would recommend MB to my friends. Not too heavy, but a little awkward folding until you master the skills.
Very sturdy on uneven footpaths, grass and at the beach. Shade attachment is super handy. I have the rain cover but haven't used it. Rain cov...Read more

Brilliant pram
So glad we bought this pram. Used it for newborn with a cocoon inside and wasn't a problem (drops right down. Only thing was we popped a piece of cardboard under the front so it was a bit more level. Handling is great - so easy to manoeuvre. Smooth ride for bubs, adjustable handle, easy to fold up. Fairly compact (fit in the back of an old Mazda 323). With a toddler it is also fantastic as it drops down easily when they go to sleep. Highly recommend this pram.
Great handling, really compact compared to others - fairly narrow for a 3 wheeler so good for shops too
Nothing!!

Favourite baby purchase!!!
After buying several prams in the first year of my daughter's life I am so so happy I finally bought our swift. I initially had a Steelcraft Agile, then a Valco Rebel Q, then a Bugaboo Cameleon and finally the Swift. I love this pram so much, it is super strong and durable and can handle any terrain we take it on. We live in an area close to the city that has lots of gumnuts and bumIpy footpaths and I love that the swift provides such a smooth ride for my toddler and now my younger child. Going up and down curbs is easy and I don't have to ...Read more
think about whether the pram will tip or get stuck. I loved the bassinet when my babies were newborns up until about 5 months. I think I have had one flat tyre in three years but if I had 'slimed' it this may not have happened. I seriously love this pram. There is so much more I love about it and nothing I don't like. Really nice for mum and dad to push too, my husband loves the sturdiness of it. Every time we go for a walk I am grateful for my Swift, I just wish I didn't have to try so many other prams first. Oh so strong and sturdy, easy to use, great ride for babySimilar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Disappointed with Mountain Buggy Swift
I purchased a Mountain Buggy Swift for my newborn to use and have been very disappointed with it. I inititially started out using a Unity capsule with the attachment to the pram, this was ok but it just seemed awkward the way the capsule would sit very high up didn't feel very sturdy. I also would use the carry cot for my newborn which I was happy about but once my baby outgrew that I had to use the seat attachment and have been extremely unhappy with the product since then. The seat is very flimsy just holds up with a small strap and doesn't o...Read more
ffer much support for my babies back and you can't even sit your baby up straight! Also let down as I can't face my baby towards me when pushing it. It has a very plastic feeling about it, I will be selling mine and currently looking for a better quality pram that is made and designed with more thought put into it. Unhappy with seat being so flimsy and can't set it so my baby can sit up fully, not forward facing.1 comment

Buyer Beware
This was our second Mountain Buggy. Our mountain Buggy Duo was awesome! Never a drama with it. So when we bought the swift we expected the same. However not the case. We had a problem with the hood from the beginning but put it down to being new and stiff however it never settled down. Every time we opened or closed the hood the side arm would pop off. I put it in under warranty and they were not going to replace it first blaming me then blaming the baby store. Finally after taking to social media the hood was replaced. The replacement hood is ...Read more
horrible!!! To open and close the hood you have to hang on tight to the whole pram to move it. The whole pram shakes and wakes the baby. They refuse to acknowledge there is a problem with it. Maneuvers well Extremely poor customer careSimilar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Love it, but take care blowing up tyres!
Baby is now seven months old and the swift has been great, we have been off road and in the city, it is safe, sturdy and reliable...tyres can be pumped up or let down easily for different surfaces and other models products fit it so do not have to buy all mb accessories. It was great as an infant carrier and now works as a stroller... Plus it comes with a bar unlike other more expensive prams. It folds down to nothing, is easy to set up and put away.
Met all my needs
Just make sure not to pump tyres up too high as may need to replace them

Press studs are failing
Very disappointed with the mountain buggy swift. The press studs are failing and have to be reattached multiple times each time it is used. I am worried that my son will fall to ground if all press studs fail and hammock falls away from the frame. I contacted mountain buggy and they have stated that the press studs have rusted and the corrosion has made the press studs fail. But in fact there is no rust and the corrosion is from the press studs having to be reattached multiple times each trip.
Compact, convenient
Press studs failure make it unsafe

Amaazing! Love it :)
We got our swift on recommendation by a friend. It's strong, sturdy, lightweight, easy to steer and looks great! I've crossed paddocks and taken bush walks with it as well as the normal walking around town/shopping etc. The mountain buggy range is pricey but from what I've seen/used its great quality too (my baby is only 4 months so will update as she grows for how good it is when she's bigger)
Strong, sturdy, lightweight,looks great.
You'll need a reasonably large car boot.

Great Pram
This is a great pram. Very slim, I have never got stuck anywhere, shops are a breeze unlike a lot of other brands. The Mountain Buggy is very easy to maneuver around. I love the neutral lime colour. I have found it quite good to jog with as well. The bassinet attachment was great for our newborn
Reliable, narrow size, easy to use

Great compact pram!
I have the mountain buggy in chilli, it's lightweight, compact and very easy to push! Fits through all aisles.. I use mine for walking/jogging and running and so far haven't had any issues! Great pram for a great price. The only thing I can fault about it is the smell.. I had to air it out for quite a long time and still has a rubbery smell to it.
Compact, lightweight, easy to steer and push
Had a bad smell for quite awhile... And customer service weren't helpful at all!
