So light and easy
I love this pram so much its so light and easy to push and manouver in tight places and on all surfaces. It has the best zip on sunshade available which is so important as I see Mums pushing bubs around the streets in the hot sun while my bub is in the shade and fully protected from the sun. Also it can go anywhere as we live on a rural property and have rough roads and I've never had a problem and only pumped up the tyres twice in two years.
That is as so light and easy to push on all types of surfaces. Great shade cover that zips on.
Quite long fits across the whole back boot

Would not recommend
This pram is poor quality (dodgy wheels, flimsy fittings, mine had a big bit of wire hanging off it) plus my son is not even 2 and is a very tight fit. Wish I had done more research before purchase.
The carry cot is good, but very narrow and if you have a big baby (mine was) it will outgrow it very quickly.
Before buying I didnt realise the importance of the seat being able to swing around so it can face towards you or away, with the result that in the early days I had to carry my crying child home many times because he couldn't see me.

Love it!!
This is the ideal pram for a mum on the go! It's light for me to get it in and out of my 4wd boot. I like that it's easy to fold and unfold without any fuss. The bassinet only lasted 3 weeks cause our baby grew out of it, as it's very narrow. I bought cup holder as it only came with a bottle holder. Purchased it from mountain buggy website as they didn't have it available at baby bunting.
Light, easy to fold and unfold
Didn't come with cup holder for my coffee!!

Best pram ever
You won't be disappointed with the swift!!
I've used LOTS of prams! You name it and I've used it (I've worked as a nanny for lots of different families over the years so I've 'test driven' lots of models!)
The swift is awesome! SO easy to move around even ONE HANDED!
I've used this pram for 2years and have hod no problems at all!
•The basket underneath fits a surprisingly large amount in,
•the wheels glide over all sorts of terrain
• the canopy shades most of your bub

I love my Swift
8 months in and I still love my Swift. I have no regrets about this purchase at all, and I recommend it to everyone. So very light, compact and narrow. Really easy to recline baby, steer and fold. I've used it on the beach, on dirt tracks, it's great. Also good for squeezing into narrow aisles in shops, or taking into cafes without annoying everyone. I can see it being un use for a very long time (well, until we have number 2).
The only negative is the brake - it's easy enough to engage, but so hard to release. You have to put your foot under...Read more

Found the perfect pram after lots of research!!!
Very happy with our purchase. Feels very well built, sturdy and very easy to steer. Enough room in the basket for everyday use, even a few grocery items. Our baby is very comfortable, we used it from birth as it lays almost flat so you don't need to buy the bassinet unless you really want to face your newborn. I am quite little and find it easy to fold down and get into the boot. Fantastic all round, great value for money, good weight, looks nice and easy to get around with.

90% Great
Our MB Swift has been great. We purchased it in late 2010. We went with the Swift over the larger model because we live in an apartment and needed something fairly compact. We purchased the green colour, which we still really like. It's still a good looking and stylish pram that our daughter enjoys.
Our daughter seems to love it (she's 14 months old now), and can still happily fall asleep in it and is fine for relatively long walks. The service from the MB team is excellent - they always reply quickly and are helpful.
The only downside has been that the tyres do wear down very quickly. We've replaced them 3 times now, within 14 months.

Don't regret buying this pram at all!
This pram is my second after the first one (2nd hand) was too heavy and too wide at the base. This pram is great- it is so easy to manoeuvre and turns on the one spot with one hand which I love. We live by the beach and it's been fine to go over gravel, grass etc. it is about 9kg which is fine for me and so easy to put up and down. The size of the basket is fine for us, I can fit a bag of shopping in easily. Most of the mums in my mums group have either this one or the size up and love them. The sun cover is great. My husband is 6ft 2 and it's ...Read more
a good size for him. One thing to note, apparently the instructions for the tyre pressure are wrong and baby bunting suggest filling it less than recommended to stop the tyre popping. We've had it 5 months and used it lots on different surfaces. Price, size, maneuverability, design, adjustable handle Have to get an insert as no padding, wonder if it would be better if she could sit up straighter, length might be an issue for long older babies, no option for 2nd child.Similar opinion? Grea Pramt for Active Mums and Dads
Is a light weight pram for putting in and out of the car, very easy to fold up, nice to walk with and easy to maneuver. Had a puncture recently which was very annoying! The actual pram requires a liner as it is not padded at all. Grab bar does not attach well to pram and has fallen off many times. Overall the pram is very handy as we mainly use it for walking and going to the shops. For the price it is good but could do with a few little improvements!
Price, light weight, adjustable handle, carrycot handy for sleepovers.
Tyres are not very strong for a pram that is made for most surfaces. Baby can only face one way.

Disappointed with the swift
I only had 2 pram options that would fit inside my Peugeot boot and after much deliberation decided on the Swift. I have been extremely disappointed with the Swift. Firstly, the separate bassinet although comfortable was annoying to fit into the car. I basically had the frame in the boot and the bassinet in the backseat next to the babyseat. My daughter got frustrated at 8 weeks and wanted to sit upright in the pram instead. However the pram due to the lack of padding was extremely uncomfortable for her and the harness just didn't seem to fit w...Read more
ell. She was also distressed as she was unable to see/face me. The pram is easy to move around in tight spots and is good to take to the park. However, I really wish the Bugaboo would fit in my car as I still have Bugaboo envy. My daughter is now only 5 months and i'm already looking at buying a stroller. Lightweight, fits inside the boot of my hatch, easy to navigate in shops Baby can't sit upright due to seat design, needs a seat liner and no pads on the harness, tyres deflat quickly, UV cover and storm cover work wellSimilar opinion? Great stroller that can go anywhere
Great stroller. Very maneuverable and it's narrow enough to get through most shops. I chose it for the wheel width as we live inner so plenty of narrow and crowded (and poorly maintained) footpaths.
Handles really well. Can cope easily with big gutters, potholes, gravel.
The basket underneath is not huge, but is stable enough that it can take a couple of bangs hung from the handle.
Handle is adjustable, great for people of different heights, but also to decrease the space you take up on public transport.
Have had some trouble with the brakes after about 6 months, which would flick on ok but then I wouldn't be able to get them off.

Love this product.
After owning 8 prams over 7 years this is by far my favorite choice.I have had two mountain buggies and both have been exceptional.
Easy to move, folds flat, lays back easily, great under basket, awesome zip sunshades design.
The brake always get stuck and I need to use my hand to unlatch it. Tyres a bit small for the daily beach use this gets.

Great for smaller babies and dexterous patents
We bought this prior to the birth of DD. it seemed and is, a light weight, compact three wheel pram, which can carry up to a 32kg child; however our bub (7months old) has just about out grown it! She is a tall baby, but this pram is difficult to manoeuvre, difficult to get a large baby out of and the seat back doesn't allow your child an upright seating position. The bassinet attachment was fantastic though. Our bub was snuggled into it and slept well during her first few months even when we used the bassinet section as a temporary day trip cot...Read more
. Luckily now that bub is here I can take her out and find the right pram. Unfortunately this is not the right one for us. Cost effective, fashionable, super light weight Poor maneuverability, tips backwards if baby not in it and baby bag is on the handlesSimilar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Great light weight single pram
This pram and carry to attachment was perfect for my little one. Great for someone who walks a lot, compact, and easy to fold down, which as a new mum I needed hings that were simple. Great quality material.
Reliable light, easy to push
Tires replaced after six months

Slim design but is still quite bulky
Got the Mountain Buggy Swift after playing around with a friend's one when we discovered we were expecting. My daughter is 8 weeks old so have only used it with the carrycot, which makes it quite bulky especially in the back of the car (and I have a CR-V). It is still in 2 pieces which I hate, but once we starts using the normal seat it will be one piece and take up less room. The storage compartment underneath is quite small, doesn't hold that much and because of the design of the handle, makes it hard to slip any extra shopping or bag handles...Read more
unless you have a "Mommy Clip". The wheel alignment is a bit funny too, even though you can push it with just one hand, the steering seems to go all over the place and can be wobbly. Also we have just noticed that one of the back tyres is already looking flat, and like I said, we have only been using it for 8 weeks, not off-road (mainly in shopping centres and local streets) and am disappointed to find that the tyre is already deflating. Am about to order another stroller as I am not wholly impressed with the Swift and will just use it for terrain walks. Narrow design, well-pric Bulky with carrycot, tyre already deflating, wheel alignmentSimilar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

OK
Easy to push, easy to fold down, absolute GARBAGE tyres which makes it disappointing. Have blown out all 3 tyres in 10 weeks by using it on path walks and shopping trips.
Light, narrow wheel base, easy to push
the tyres are garbage... no wonder they aren't covered by warranty. Rubbish!

Very happy!
This is our first pram and it's great for where we live (dirt tracks etc). We used the bassinet with bub for only 2 and a half months (he's a big boy) which is a bit disappointing - it's quite narrow and he can't really move his arms to the side at all now. But the pram is fantastic... lightweight, one move to fold down and up, easy to change from bassinet to stroller, easy (and practical) to move sleeping bub to (almost) flat from sitting up. I agree with other posters that the brake is hard to use with thongs on, but otherwise all good! O...Read more
h and we're using the NZ made model which we bought second hand off ebay and it's still going strong. Only issue with this model is replacing the tyres seem a bit trickier because of the size. Sturdy, simple, easy to fold up/unfold, light, holds value well, very easy to manoeuvre Tyres difficult to replace (NZ model), bassinet doesn't last long for our big bubSimilar opinion? City dwellers' dream pram
Living inner city with bumpy yet small pathways it is quite surprising how much you need a pram with good suspension. The swift is also ideal to fit into the strip shops and cafes. Once assembled (a bit challenging to do, bad instructions) its a breeze to use with fantastic maneuverability.
Depending where you purchase it may depend what you get with it. Base model generally doesn't come with anything else but the pump. Try to negotiate the sun & storm covers (I've used both plenty times within first 4 mths of use). Ideally also get a liner...Read more
/ sleeping bag to make it more comfy for bub. Ours didn't come with cross over bar either but haven't found we needed it yet. I also purchased the carry cot, which I loved using so newborn was facing us, and used for daytime sleeps & when at other people's places. This came with its ownstorm cover which we also used. Bub grew out of it by 3 mths old - wanted to look out. Compact, fantastic maneurverability, sturdy. Great size to fit into cafes, shops, around smaller streets, store inside etc. Originally considered the Urban but extremely glad we went the smaller version with the swift. Loved the look of it. Loved using the extra carrycot newborn to 3mths, and got heaps of use out of it during this time. Some may say its heavy and not compact, which is true if having to put in and out of car on a daily basis. But when using from home out & about this is not an issue and prefer the sturdiness of it. The storage basket underneath is not very big (fits approx. 1 bag of groceries) and not easy to access when child is in pram, however sufficient for general requirements. It helps to have a nappy bag that safely fits on handles to carry the neccessities out of the undercarriage. The lining for the pram is also not included, so it seems a bit raw and hard, so we had to buy an extra liner / sleeping bag.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

It is all in the name... this buggy was made for mountains!
Please note, I am reviewing a New Zealand built unit.
We were lucky to purchase one of the last units that was made in New Zealand that came with 3 years warranty. If you are unaware, nowdays these units are made in China and come with 1 year warranty. Such a shame.
This is not a catwalk parading pram. It is a tough built stroller made to go places other than car parks and polished floors in the shopping centres. A lot of people find the pram unattractive and cumbersome looking. It is not at all. It is rather light and manoeuvrable unit a...Read more
nd it fits in shopping centre as well as it fits on a walking trail. This pram was designed by a dad and it was designed to be practical and simple. Backrest is adjusted by pull straps so endless positions are possible quickly and easily rather than fancy levers and mechanisms as seen on other brands. Once folded, there is a strap with buckle clip that you loop around to lock the stroller from unfolding itself. I would have liked to see a self locking mechanism but strap is working just fine and it is kept simple like the rest of the stroller. I personally do not use the locking strap unless I am placing the stroller upright, as you can comfortably pick it up in the flat position without it unfolding. Also, once in upright position, you can pull the stroller like a golf buggy on wheels.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!
