Amazing
I have such weather-beaten hands and have only just tried this product. After only ONE application, I had immediate relief. It is a little greasy at first but rubs in beautifully. This is the one for me from now on. I also bought the foot cream to try as my feet are a problem also.

Dream hand cream
Have been using this hand cream for many years now. It's my hand cream of choice. I put it on my hands at night as my hands are often dry especially in winter. I teach hand hygiene and hand care and have found this product effective in caring for hands and protecting against dryness and skin breaks. It's does have an initial residual..which is why I like to put it on last thing at night. I have tried many creams over the years...as I like to check out what is on the market. However to date I always come back to this one long term in the end as...Read more
it really works for me and keeps my hand soft, subtle and skin intact. happy to recommend. Looks after my hands, and is easy to use. My hands feel lovely with ongoing daily use. Nothing really as it keeps my hands safe and intact with regular use

Excellent moisturizing hand cream…
I’ve always been a fan of using moisturizing creams to protect my hand from drying. Before, I would just randomly select hand creams base on its scent and ingredient. But when I discovered using Neutrogena Norwegian hand cream, I was convinced to stop using other hand creams and swore by it. Even though this cream is fragrance-free, I still love it because of its good moisturizing effect. A small dab of this cream is enough to keep my hands moisturized and nourished. I would definitely recommend this product.
handy, since it comes in small easy tube.
a little greasy though.

Best ever excema cream!!!!
My son has had excema since 3 months old, usually steroid creams are the only thing that clear his skin completely, we don't like using them, so we have tried many different alternatives. A friend told us about this hand cream, we have been using it now for 5 days and it is amazing, my sons excema on his hands, fingers and feet is the best is ever been, almost completely clear. So happy with this product, highly recommended.
works well on excema

A bit greasy but effective
This to me,is more like a balm than a hand cream. If you use too much, hands end up very greasy and it takes a long time to absorb. If you use a small amount though, it is quite good. I would only use this as an overnight hand treatment. This has a strange medicinal scent to it which I'm not that keen on but it's tolerable. You can use this as a lip balm for chapped lips! Overall I think this product is overhyped. I have used better hand creams.
Very moisturising, inexpensive, easy to find
Odd scent, too greasy for daytime use

AMAZING
It is greasy but it cures dry skin. I had seriously bad dry, chapped, sunburnt lips and this product cured them in 2 days. normally it takes weeks! overnight usage is more effective. It is a bit too greasy for the day. It is good because just a small dab is all you need. a small dab is as effective as using the whole tube at one time. this is also good because it works on all types of dry skin not just hands. As i said before it works on lips. It also works on dry heels.
reliable, no scent, inexpensive, small for easy storage cost effective
slightly greasy

Perfect Hand Cream
The best hand cream I have ever used. I have very dry skin and Its the only product I have found that does what it is supposed to do and its not greasy.
Not greasy, small tube easy to put in handbag,
a little expensive but its worth it as you only need a bit each time you use it

Terrible
I know other people on here have waxed lyrical about this product but for me, I'd rather pay more for a nicer smelling cream from the Body Shop or elsewhere. Everytime I apply this cream, I immediately want to wash it off (which isn't easy after you've doused your hands with the stuff) and regret it straight away. It's got a very distinct odour and it is thick and difficult to smooth onto your hands. It is a shame as Neutrogena products are normally great and economical to boot - but I would splash out on another brand for hand cream.
Cheap and small for your handbag
Smelly!

This excellent, well priced product has been recommended by skin specialists and i have recommended to my friends and family. Its very concentrated so a little goes a long way. Quickly absorbed and forms a protective barrier for many hours. I now use it on my face every other night as a night cream, and i awake in the morning with soft wrinkle free skin! an amazing moisturiser to be highly recommended.
an excellent product that has reallay helped my dry sensitive hands. I Have eczema and the fragrance free product was recommended by my dermatologist.
I don't have a bad thing to say!

I have sensitive as well as dry hands, particularly in the winter months. Only after the first use, I already saw a major improvement not just with the texture but also the tone and softness of my hands. It is amazingly low priced and LASTS long! It spreads on thick but the skin penetrates it very quickly. The ingredients tend to be concentrated with benefits to suit a vast array of skin types. I have also recommended it to my family and they just love it! The cream comes in various sizes, most favourably the travel size, which is cute and conv...Read more
enient to place anywhere. For such an amazing product at such a low cost, why not give it a go and experience the benefits for yourself? A real improvement in my dry hands, smells pleasant, thick and concentrated which penetrates in the skin easily. None, highly recommend it!Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

functional but not pretty
This is a great moisturizer for extremely dry skin. It does the job well but I don't really like the texture - it's a bit thick and doesn't seem to sink in as quickly as some more water based moisturisers. It kind of feels like Vaseline a bit.
I like the small tube and it's cost affective - but I've stopped using it simply because it sometimes feels a bit greasy
moisturising, size is good
a bit greasy feeling

I always have a tube of this at home, its really nice when I've been washing too many dishes by hand and my skin is getting dried out. It only comes in a small tube however it will last you ages as you only need the tiniest amount, it really goes a long way.
This works really well if you have really dry hands or feet, if you work outside in the garden a lot, or if you always have your hands in water. You only need the tiniest bit.
It does feel a bit greasy so you can't touch anything for awhile after you put it on. Best to use at night.

Neutrogena Norwegian formula was recommended to me by my pharmacist - I'd tried a lot of other creams and lotions before buying it. It really does work, my fingers are greatly improved and the tube will last me for ages.
I use the fragrance-free cream. I had very dry scaly patches on my fingers and by using this cream at night (when I get into bed) the patches softened. I have also used it on my heels for dry patches. It is very reasonably priced and works for me.
It is very thick so I would not use it during the day when I wanted to use my hands. The thickness is part of what makes it so good so it isn't really a 'con' as I only use it once a day.

OK
It is a good hand cream which is slightly more expensive. It is thicker than some others, so a little bit will be enough for rough hands. You may want to try it once and see if you like it. I found it overall a bit disappointing, or maybe I was expecting too much.
I tried this hand cream because I had heard a lot of hype about it being so effective and I found it okay. Not a bad product, I used the unscented version and a small amount is enough for dry hands. I did feel that my hands were a bit smoother after use, but other products have done the same.
Not sure what all the hype about this product was. It was just average for me, maybe I should buy another container and try it again.

I love this cream and will continue using it. Overall anything which doesn't irritate the skin gets high marks from me, but I suggest when you find it in stock, buy up big!
I have really sensitive skin and found that this never irritated it. In winter especially, when my hands were a bit chapped and dried out I noticed the difference as soon as I started application. Softens not only hands but callouses and other small bumps and lumps.
Nothing, it's even pretty cheap given the size that you purchase! Sometimes it's a little tricky to find in stock, but not the products fault!

Love it. My dermatologist put me onto it went my hands were suffering. It is fantastic and you can buy it in two different sizes. I keep a little one in my hand bag and in the car and the larger at home. I also find it good for my heals when they get dry. Put it on twice a day and your hand will totally love you for it. Great!
Smells lovely and although it is thick when you put it on it soaks in very quickly. It is great for hydrating your skin.
Nothing at all it is great.

I've had my little tube for over a year now, with no signs of running out. I love that it's multipurpose as well, not just for hands. I've found that I don't need to reapply it throughout the day, just once will do.
Smells beautiful, not greasy, lasts ages.

I have been using this for the past six months and it seems to put a barrier between you and whatever. It is not greasy when you apply it to your hands, and it soaks in well. The smell is so nice and i use it about three times a day, and my shands have gone from drab to looking nice again. moisturised but not greasy i want to stress that. It is anti ageing so they say and it must be as my hands look grat compared to what they did before I used this. It isnt expensive at all, compared to others its about middle of the range in price. Not bad for this one. I bought mine at Kmart but have seen it at the supermarket also. Try this one ladies it wont let you down.
I use this I honestly do use this.

I generally like Neutrogena products, and this is the best hand cream I have ever used. Not only does it do all it claims, it is not greasy which is important for me as an embroiderer in order that I do not mark the fabric or thread with which I am working
This product heals dry and cracked skin very well, and keeps nails from flaking. I use it several times a day and this winter my hands are better than they have ever been.
No cons for the product itself, but the packaging needs some attention. It is difficult to get the last amounts out of the tube even when it is stored on it's cap.

Howdy - I bought some netragenia cream and used it and can't find it / when or if I find it has it got a use by date printed somewhere on the tube?
6 answers
Hi Brian. The tube has a date of manufacture on the crimp, but no expiry date. I don't think it actually "goes off" but I remember reading somewhere on a product review page that it has a shelf-life of 3 years from manufacture. I think any kind of product like this that has no expiry date, is usually good for at least one year.
Howdy - ok thanks - cheers
Hi Brian, I agree with Michelle. Also, hand creams of this size don't usually have a use by date as they are used fairly quickly anyway. Dee
