Hi,
I hope this is not a silly question - if I don't have my phone with me, or it is out of range, does the sound enhancement still work but I would just not be able to make setting changes? Or do they not work at all in this situation?

Hi Steve, the buds operate in the world off/on mode (sound enhancement) independent of your mobile phone or Bluetooth device. If you have selected the world off/on and environmental settings on the earpiece, that would be the only sound enhancement adjustments possible without having your device at hand.
I've preordered the IQbuds 2 Max and look forward to using its more advanced functionality.

My laptop does not recognise my charge case even though ti is plugged in correctly

I would try a different cord, some are for charging others for data plus charging. Your usb port on your laptop may be faulty, mine had that issue.

I have trouble activating the pairing mode. I got the two versions through a sales drive earlier this year. The simple IQ buds I never got to work at all. The Boost version worked after a week's trial and error but now they would not get in the pairing mode for a new phone. What can I do?

Good luck ... with my new phone I tried but after continually attempting this pairing and no assistance that enabled a solution, out of sheer frustration I literally submitted my useless pair to the bin
Extreme I know but once out of warranty ... there is no plan B

Mine wouldn’t charge from beginning. It did charge once after slamming the lid in frustration. It seems to be a common problem. Send it back for replacement. I sent mine back for a refund (less 5% restocking fee). Hope you don’t get mine.

I know you can answer and originate phone calls (e. g. with Siri on iOS). However, how do you hand up when finished with a call?

Love them for watching TV, and phone calls, but was disappointed when I went to a resturant, didn't notice any difference, had the resturant setting on, Do I need to do something else?

Is this buds have a great bass sound quality?

The sound quality for music and audio streaming is amazing – much more like Bose than Apple earbuds.

How can I increase the volume of music? I have a Google pixel and the music streaming volume to iqbuds is very low.I have the phone volume turned up to max. This works well on my nb wireless speakers, but not IQ buds. Anyone know how to fix this?

Have you gone into your Personal Profile in the IQbuds app? From here you can adjust settings including volume.

There is no way to turn them off.

IQbuds do not have an “on/off” switch. When not in use the IQbudsTM should be placed in the case which will keep them in a low power states and fully charged.

No, if you have iqbuds boost you can simply use the in built ear-ID function based on a prescription formula (NAL-NL2) to self fit, it will take about 10 minutes to configure

Ive had my iqbuds for about 3 weeks now. The sound was excellent until the past few days. I can barely hear the dialogue when watching tv programs. Checked my settings for sound and its all the way up. Cant find a solution. Can you please help?

Hi, I've just got mine yesterday after set up it says an update was available. so I downloaded the updater from the Nuheara site onto my PC but when I try to use the updater it says charge case not detected.The cable, charger and buds all connected ok.
When I look in programs it says IQbuds updater version 1.0.2 unavailable.
any ideas

Mine worked fine when I did the update. Maybe try plugging to another usb port and make sure the PC recognises the iqbuds before running the update. Otherwise try the Nuheara customer support, they are excellent.

I use them with iPhone to make and receive calls via bluetooth. Sound quality is excellent. As per my review I am still unconvinced that the microphone actually enhances sound (and if they do then it is very minimal)

Thinking about getting these for work. I have a boss with a habit of walking away from you while talking to you, and can't hear a word he says. He is usually walking in the opposite direction I'm facing. Will these amplify sound from behind and to the right side?

Well if I'm feeding my daughter in her bedroom and I have the headphones on the voice amplification setting I can hear the TV in the living room a lot clearer and little noises she makes sounds a lot louder. I'll check the walking away and talking thing with my hubby for you.
