A great lubricant additive for manual gearboxes with issues - or just as a preventer
I have a 1994 Honda Prelude VTIR. This vehicle is known as one that can have trouble with shifting - especially from 4th - 5th, but at other shifts too. Mine actually felt very "notchy" and sometimes not pleasant to drive.
I sought out a lubricant to make it smoother - and this is where Nulon really came into its own. You add the entire contents of the Nulon tube and then fill to the specified level with the regular transmission oil, in this case, I used Penrite Trans Gear 75W - 80.

so, shifting became much smoother - to the point where most of the shifts are near perfect. Occasionally a 4th - 5th shift may still play up, but I'm extremely happy with it now in comparison to what it used to be like.1 comment

Highly recommended!
Another big thanks needs to go to Nulon for their great products. The new Nulon Racing oil was brilliant all race and kept oil pressure in the Winefuelled Racing RB25, and we all know that can be hard at times with RB engines.
Winefuelled Racing used the Nulon 5W-50 Racing Oil and done 722 Laps of QLD Raceway, 2,260 kms of Racing and used 690L of petrol without a drop in oil pressure over 24 hours.
Also can highly recommend Nulon gear box oils with Nulon Smooth Shift the gear box still feels great even after doing just over 4500 gear changes in 24 hours.
Next time you’re shopping for oils please consider Nulon and their great range of products.
