We just purchased a PIU 12 and am finding it makes 'watery' noises. Other than that it works fine but its like sleeping next to a babbling brook. Does anyone know what might cause this or how to fix it? I've drained it and theres no error showing or anything.

The water needs to be emptied from the bottom on the appliance.I suggest you do it in the bathroom or outside if you have carpet .then plug back in and it works

This system won't display the heat function.. the remote says 27 degrees but there is nothing but -- -- on the machine... The fan also won't turn off when we try this function and it definently is not hot air coming out!
Is it a faulty machine? Or does it not really have a heat function?
Hi I can set the timer mode but I don't know how to turn it off or on manual doesn't help
my Piu 12 starts up with just fan for a few minutes then stops showing a 3 on the panel. Any ideas?
The '3' is an alarm signal that means there is an excessive build-up of water inside the air conditioner. Take the PIU12 outside and empty the water. If it still shows '3' the the unit is faulty.

The filter needs to be taken out and cleaned.
Fi means clean filter, according to the manual F1 means thermal cut out of the compressor. There's a diagram at the back that shows you the electrical map. I'm not sure whether that F1 is meant to be Fi or what.

Read morem water with a few drops of dish washing detergent. Rinse the filter with clean cold water. Shake off the excess water and reinsert the filter to the unit. Press the power button to switch the power on. Press and hold the power button for at least 5 seconds to remove the F! message. The A/C should work as normal.Bought my Piu12 a month ago and it was working great but last night it was making really loud noises, above the usual noisiness, and blowing hot air all night even though it was set on cool and the temp was set at 16’. I gave it hours to cool but my bedroom (4x5m room) ended up reaching 41’ based on the thermo reader of the air con. I cleaned out the filter + switched off the unit for a while and restarted it but still the same thing happened. I’ve tried all the manual trouble shooting tips but none helped. Any suggestions?
