Why, when I make calls does my voice break up and sound almost like static or they can't hear me at all. I can hear them perfectly and so far there are no bugs or problems other than that. Phone is almost 2 years old and other than this has been a terrific phone.

It's worth checking that the power saving mode (under Settings - battery) is switched off. This feature overrides brightness settings.

Hi,

My phone has started failing to dial from contacts. I have to type the number in (same number) or it'll say -"this service isn't available right now" as if the other end is disconnected. Random numbers i type in won't connect and i have to try a few times. Signal is perfect.

How do you turn off your caller ID on Oppo A73?

This is done from the settings menu you must find the systems apps, mine is at the very bottom. From there you will see the call settings, and for caller id you need to select carrier call settings. This is where you will see the options to toggle on/off.
Hope that helps.

Why doesn't my phone tell me exactly who's messaging me even if they're in my contacts? It always shows a random message. Also my messages aren't in the order I've received them, is there anyway I can change it?

For some reason I'm not getting a message tone for incoming messages on my A73 which has been working fine for over a year. I've tried re-setting message tone + turning phone on and off to make sure it's updated. This was working fine until a few days ago, i.e. I had a message tone which I could hear -- but suddenly I started getting a very quiet sliding sound that I can only hear if I have the phone right next to me. Also, the volume works fine for all other functions, e.g. incoming calls. Can anyone help?

I just realised that I haven't been getting message or missed call notifications on my home page, i.e. used to have number of messages or missed calls on the Messages Phone tabs on the home page when I opened the phone!

Check have you got msg on silent or vibrate, I keep bumping the right side bottoms probably when I'm talking on the phone I hold the buttons & I turn my volume down. If its not on silent then contact Oppo warranty section or take back phone where you bought it from & ask them..

Thanks for responding Susan. Someone has just sorted it out for me. For some reason the notifications were turned off ... no idea how! This was driving me nuts as it wasn't on silent and everything else was working. I was about to take it back to the shop for some technical help (great guys but it's a bit of a drive to get there). I've been really happy with the Oppo and I'm pleased that it's okay. Thanks again, and kind regards, Zrenrah

How to send a picture sms

Very easy to take photo, you take your photo, then you see your small photo in left bottom corner of the phone, you click on it, then press send left bottom corner & F/B, Messenger, Gmail, MSG, Bluetooth all come up then you click which way you want to send your photo, its very easy & quick, also you can take photo when phone is locked. OPPO is really good for photos/vidoes that's why I bought it..

I don't get any led light notification when a msg has come through or a phone call that I have missed, or anything. I have to constantly manually turn the phone on and check if I have missed any calls or messages. This seems like poor design - is there something I am missing? Does it need to be activated somehow?
