Oricom MX500 5 watt VHF Marine Radio
MX500 GREAT PRODUCT
I arranged the purchase of the MX500 for sailors when our yacht club mandated radio communications three years ago. They have performed really well. I sail twice a week, after a full season the battery still has plenty battery life.
We broke the spring clip, Kevin mailed a replacement N/C.

Workhorse Radio
We have been trialing Oricom MX500 radios for some time in commercial operations including search and rescue. The radio has an amazing battery life to the point we have never drained one in a full day of operations. They are light, float and will take a knock in rough weather. I never leave harbor without one attached to a life jacket anymore.
Purchased in November 2021 at Oricom for A$199.00.
