Hi Beatrice,

Thank you for your enquiry.

It sounds like you may have a dislocation.

Unfortunately the OSMO Patch would not be able to repair a dislocation or any other bone disorder. It may however help reduces any swelling or associated pain.

In either case we recommend that you first visit your doctor to get a correct diagnosis before attempting any treatment.

Wishing you and your family good health.

Hello Sally,

Thank you for your inquiry.

The patches are classified as a class 1 medical device. Being a class 1 medical device means that there are no drugs or prohibited substances. It is actually the same classification as a band aid, and bandage as they do not work via releasing active ingredients into the skin hence why there is no requirement for ingredient/composition labeling other than labeling any possible allergens. This is different to a cream or a patch that releases active ingredients into the skin as you can understand.

What we can assure you is that the patches are made to very strict GMP medical standards. There are absolutely no drugs or hormones within our patches. They do not work by releasing active ingredients into the body but instead work by drawing fluid out of the body.

As stated on our website, at this time as we hope you can understand the composition of the OSMO Patch remains our proprietary knowledge. There is however a crustacean by-product within the composition, so if you are allergic to shellfish or seafood then the patches should not be used. Also there is an adhesive which is used to hold the patches in place and again if you are allergic to adhesives you may consider using a bandage as an alternative to hold the patch in place.

I hope this information has been helpful and we hope that they will offer you some relief.

Wishing you and your family good health.

Kind Regards

My partner has used them for the last two nights on his shoulder with good results. The patch reduced the swelling the first night. It still worked even though the powder did collect at the bottom a bit.

They suggest you to wear it during the night but you could wear it through the day I guess. I found it didn't stick to the skin very well.

Hi Kaye,

Thanks for your inquiry.

The OSMO Patch is effective at reducing inflammation and the associated pain due to inflammation in the knee and should be helpful to reduce the swelling. Please note that you should not use the patches if there is an active infection or open wound in the area. We would recommend waiting at least 10 days before applying the patches after any injection to ensure there was no adverse reaction from the actual injection before using the patched.

The OSMO Patch contains absolutely no steroids or drugs and is used as an effective alternative to the current invasive treatments offered. They are designed to naturally drain excess fluid from the affected region while also stimulating blood flow to the area to promote healing. It will then be up to the person being treated to adequately rest the area and to identify and if possible avoid the cause.

Occasionally some of our customers have underlying causes that continue to set off their condition, such as inflammatory disease (arthritis for example), however these individuals have found the OSMO Patch to be invaluable in effectively managing their associated pain and inflammation. Assuming that there is no underlying inflammatory disease or scarring, it possible avoid any physical or repetitive activities to allow recovery.

The patches are worn during the night and discarded in the morning (single use). Usually one patch is worn each night (approx 8-10 hrs) over the affected area, although more than one may be worn if required.

The patches should be used each consecutive night while you feel that you are improving. If you get to a level that you are not completely healed and your improvement has plateaued then you can consider stopping using the patches and keep the balance there in case there is a flare up.

Most of our customers only require 1 or 2 boxes (10 Patches per box), however as everyone's condition is different this can vary on occasions. For customers with chronic or underlying inflammatory conditions (such as osteoarthritis) the OSMO Patch is used effectively as required to manage flair-ups.

I hope this information has been helpful and if you do decide to try the OSMO Patch, then I hope they will offer you some relief.

Wishing you and your family good health.

Kind Regards

Hi Shush,

Thank you for your enquiry.

The OSMO Patch contains absolutely no steroids or drugs and they are completely non-invasive.

They have been intelligently developed using our patented design to naturally remove excess fluid from the body in order to reduce swelling and the associated pain.

Simply place the OSMO Patch over the affected area at night just prior to going to bed and they go to work while you sleep, removing fluid and stimulating blood flow continually throughout the night. In the morning the used patch is then simply removed and discarded.

For a more details answer we have produced a short easy to follow 4-5 min video at the request of many of our customers which can be view at https://www.osmopatch.com/how-it-works/

We hope that this video is helpful in allowing you to better understand the biological processes which allow the OSMO Patch to naturally remove fluid, reduce swelling and alleviate the associated pain.

I hope this information has been helpful and if you decide to try the OSMO Patch then I hope provide you some relief.

Wishing you and your family good health.

I’d say so, yes. No idea how long for though as each persons response will differ. I have osteoarthritis in my knees and I use a patch when it’s bad or overnight if I’m out and about the next day. The most I’ve used it is for three nights in a row and that really saw me mobile for about 10 days.

I don’t think the patches heal what ails you, so if you’re looking for a cure these won’t help. What they do achieve, for me at least, is significant pain reduction from hip bursitis. If you’re using them and you’re not benefiting, you may have them positioned in the wrong place or your condition just simply isn’t benefiting from using them. Try moving them around the area of pain and see if this helps. If not, I suggest you seek medical advice from your doctor.

Hi Bronwyn,

I am very sorry to hear about your mothers condition.

The OSMO Patch is effective at reducing inflammation and the associated pain due to elbow bursitis and the results to date have been good.

For customers with chronic or underlying inflammatory conditions (such as osteoarthritis) the OSMO Patch is used effectively as required to manage flair-ups.

Just to also let you know that there is a crustacean by-product within the ingredients, so if your mother is allergic to shellfish or seafood then the patches should not be used. Also there is an adhesive which is used to hold the patches in place and again if she is allergic to adhesives she may consider using a bandage or low irritant tape that she is familiar with as an alternative to hold the patch in place.

Please note that the adhesives should not be used on extremely delicate or thin skin. Again if you mother is familiar with as an alternative tape or adhesive that she is able to use then this could be used in place of our adhesive to hold the patch in place.

Re,member to always read the safety instructions included with the patches and use only as directed.

I hope this information has been helpful and if your mother decides to try the OSMO Patch, then I hope you will other her some relief.

Wishing you and your mother good health.

No!! They won't cure it. They certainly may help with the pain. Use them as long as you feel you need them. I personally would be seeing as surgeon about having a steroid injection into the affected area as this often gives long term relief .Good luck!!
