A good little chainsaw for the price
Admittedly I bought this model on-line by mistake, thinking it was the PXCCSS model. After considering returning it I decided to give it a try and was surprised at how well it performed, easily cutting the 6” melaleuca branches, if pushed hard it will cut out but just release the trigger, instant restart and just go a bit slower. I don’t understand a previous reviewer only getting 10 minutes use from the battery as I used it longer than that and still had half a charge.
The charger is very slow, so I would say that this saw is best suited to short sessions of tree pruning or firewood cutting. The battery and charger are definitely the weak parts as the saw itself performed well.
Purchased in at Bunnings Warehouse Online Store for $135.

Poorly thought out design
Compact, well made home chainsaw for small jobs and it works well. However it becomes very inefficient due to the company’s choice of battery. Instead of utilising the Power X battery that powers every other of their cordless tools, they have chosen a standalone 18 v Lithium ion battery with no compatibility with any other device. To make it even worse the Li ion battery is rated at a pathetic 1.5 ampere hours and a full charge lasts barely ten minutes. Their customer serice advised me to buy an additional battery for about $50, adding this to ...
Read morethe original price and you would still only get 20 mins of work with a recharge time of 80 minutes. If Ozito had just used their Power X battery it would have been a great tool , but they have totally stuffed this up and I could not possible recommend it.Purchased in .
