Hi Bud, I researched and bought the RV1 owing to the fact that i wanted to fit it in the tray of my twin cab ute (have a 2016 ford ranger with a canopy) without having to put it on the roof racks,,
If im going away for a longer stay in an accessible area i would take the camper trailer but if im going up some tight and twisty bush tracks and camping for one night at a time then the RV1 suits me, Easy to put up and big enough for 2 people or me and my dog, Im 6foot3in and i fit in easy, I bought the peaked side panels and they make a great combination when i back the ute up to it open the tailgate and bring out the stove and esky and have everything at hand, i can stand up under the peak of the awning and pleanty of room for chairs as well, If i had a family i would buy a bigger one but for 2 people or solo its a easy to use good size tent.
