Cheap and cheerful
Work well and use it a lot, can't say I notice much of a difference with the noise cancelling function. Though made of plastic they have stood up to constant use. First set developed a fault within the first month or so and would only play through one headphone, contacted Panasonic and they replaced without any fuss, and has stood up to hard work ever since.

Does the Job
I brought these headphones a while ago now and have still held together. They are solid and well made. I used to have expensive Sennheiser headphones and after a while ended up falling apart. Ive tried several brands since which ended up breaking when ear piece would always come off then I'd end up taping 1 end before having to buy a new pair. The sound quality is excellent so much so that I prefer listening to music through headphones over speakers.

Very Good Value Noise Cancelling Headphones
I bought these on special from a duty-free store in NZ and I have not been disappointed. They were put to work straight out of the box on the plane coming back from NZ and the noise cancelling is excellent - and the best thing is they only use one AAA battery to achieve it. In the plane it very effectively cancelled out the rumble and in fact I had difficulty hearing the announcements, it was that good.
At home, the noise cancelling is effective enough that I can't hear anything at all around me - wife has already boned me in for not listening...Read more
to her several times whilst wearing them! :) Sound quality is very good - switching on the noise cancelling has the effect of also amplifying the sound as well. As others have described, the sound can be a little bassy but if you like that sort of sound then there's no problem. It certainly has excellent low frequency response. Very comfortable headphones to wear. Made entirely from plastic I'm a little concerned about how they will go in terms of durability but like everything, if you give them a little TLC they should last a long time. I like these headphones. Very good noise cancellation, comfortable to wear, very good sound. Only takes one AAA battery and it lasts a long time. For some it might seem a little bassy.

Find out how Panasonic RP-HC200 compares to other Wired Headphones
Know better, choose better.
Good sound quality, but ridiculously bassy
These headphones would be best suited for someone who listens to music like DnB, Club, House, Trance, Techno, Electro, Dubstep etc.. but for someone like me who listens to a lot of prog rock and metal they are simply too bassy and can make some tracks sound horrible, the most comfortable pair of on-ear headphones I have used though.
Good sound quality, comfortable
Noise cancelation almost non-existent, too bassy, not good for rock music

Good quality, horrible durability
Had these headphones for little over 6 months until they fully broke. It would've been about 4 months until the wire cover pushed up where it splits into two, exposing about an inch of wire each side.
I won't lie, the sound quality of the headphones was pretty good and worth the money, but Panasonic could've at least made the headphones last.
The sound went in one ear and I had to jiggle around the headphone jack to make it work in both, recently, the metal on the jack snapped completely off when I jiggled it around.
I must admit, I do...Read more
n't treat my headphones greatly, but I don't throw them around or disrespect them, so I was very disappointed when a $75 dollar pair from such a respectable brand didnt even last a year. I personally wouldn't recommend them Sound quality, noise cancelling was half decent for on the plane Hardly lasted 6 months, some circuit problem made them only work in one ear after about 4 months, very poor durability for what seemed like a half decent pair of headphonesSimilar opinion? Quite good sound quality considering the low price
I bought this headset prior to my 16 hour flight to Hong Kong and enjoyed it throughout my flight with the flight video system. The fit is quite comfortable. Once in Hong Kong I tried it by listening to music using my iphone. Even though one first wants to adjust the iphone equalizer according to ones taste, the headset then produces good sound quality. All in all, I am quite happy with the purchase thus far.
Good sound for the price
Time will show how well the plastic parts will hold up.
