Good product

I used to use valvoline synpower and found the engine used to get very loud lifter tick but after switching to ten tenths penrite the lifters are completely silent. One time the temp gauge got to 100c from idling too long and needing a new fan clutch but the lifters stayed completely silent even with the extra heat on the oil i did not notice any difference in sound or any oil burn as it held up to the heat. Does not burn a drop of oil even with continuous full throttle acceleration.

What a smoothie!

Using this on my BMW 528i In-line 6 cylinder, upgraded from 10W50 HPR. Engine is smoother and much quieter with no top ups needed until after 8,000kms. I now change engine oil every 7,000 kms. Have tried other oils, Shell, Everyday plus, Castrol and they are all noisy and require constant top ups from burning. First class product, will keep your vehicle running tip top. An oil test is determined by what comes out at oil change time, if there is a better oil than this I have not tried it yet.

The Mother of all Oils

published

Began using this nectar of the automotive gods in my 2002 Hyundai Accent LC Mod only ago at oil change, and all I can say is: What the heck. I can't believe I am actually driving what was called a plain and simple people mover with economy in mind.
Have noticed much quicker and quieter cold starts, and the engine is responding more like an electrical motor. This fully synthetic oil is ideal for high compressions my baby is reaching.

Hi! If the oil is getting to temperatures above 100c for long periods of time we would suggest the customer consider using an oil cooler.

If you would like to chat more about this please contact our Techincal Team on 1300 736 748 or [email protected]

Just like to know what temperature the oil needs to reach to burn off fuel deposits and any condensation. The car has not run for a few years as it has been restored. I’ve got the engine running and I am going to get a new radiator and thermostat.

Would this oil be suitable for a 1990 Porsche 911 running a stock motor?
Motor has just been fully rebuilt with new bearings and oil seals throughout.
Original motor grade suggested from manuals is 20w50.. I live in Queensland...

Penrite selector chart recommends 5W50 10 tenths racing oil for Porsche 911 Carrera 2 964 Speedster 3.6 Litre Engine (1989-1994). 20W50 seems extremely heavy for a "New" rebuilt engine. Although the viscosity in grades is not as huge as people think. 10W50 would probably be ideal. 10 Tenths racing oil uses New Pao ester oils so it is perfect for all cars. Go to Penrite oils website and shoot them a line on feed back questions, they are always very good.

Hi Mike, Yes this can be used in your car, has the engine been run in yet?

Can I use it in a Jap 4b speedway engine, running on methanol. note: engine does not have any oil rings and is a constant loss oil system ( oil is passed through motor to ground.

The Jap motorcycle engine is designed to be used with Castor based oils. So the 10/tenths synthetic oils are not suitable.
Castor based oils leave a wax layer still providing lubrication even when majority of the oil has been disposed. Try Castrol R 40, Newton R, Morris MLR 40, or Millers CB40.
Another is Silkolene R40 Classic. google Jap Engines 2 stroke & 4 stroke maintanence.
