I bought an older Pfaff Tiptronic 2020 sewing machine that was used only 4 times. It stops sewing intermittently on zig zag for applique settings 3.5 and .7 and I have to turn it off and re-enter the stich # and settings each time it does this which is often. Does it need oil? The stitches are perfect on any setting.

I don’t really know. It never worked for me. I got it brand new. It didn’t work straight out of the box. I got a replacement. It worked a few months. I took it back. I got another brand. I love it.

Oh i had the same sort of problems, hence why i got rid of my machine....nothing is good about this machine....wish i could help. I sold mine then went and bought a bernina no problems since....
