pfaff creative 2.....
I have no problem with the sewing machine side o the Creative 2 although the extras are a little on the expensive side, but the embroidery manual is just not in depth enough. I have read and re-read the manual several times and perhaps I am missing something but when it comes to lettering I find it an absolute nightmare..I have now purchased another embroidery machine, as I just cant get my head around the Creative 2..although it machines out beautifully, it is just lacking in information on how to get the best out of it.

I have had my Creative 2.0 for 2 years now and am very happy with my choice. I wanted a quality machine for quilting and embroidery, but didn't want to spend overt $4000. It was important to have the large throat for quilting, along with dual feed, needle down selector, a good range of included embroidery designs and the capability to do large lettering. Read morefaff is more direct. The quality of the embroidery is fabulous, which is what you get when you buy a machine with the proper embroidery module vs inbuilt embroidery stitches. You can also expand the designs you can create and do by adding the 5D embroidery software programs. Pfaff issues regular updates to the machine's software which is very easy to download. So your machine will stay current for many years to come. I still have my Bernina 801 which still runs perfectly, but at the time Bernina's only machine with a large throat was way out of my price range. Overall, this machine offers terrific value, is quiet, great for quilters & embroiderers alike and I suggest anyone looking for a new machine, take it for a test run before you buy anything else. Quiet, user-friendly, dual feed, large harp (throat), easy to update. It's a large machine, but you can buy trolley bags for taking it to sewing groups.

I have had my machine now for three months, there is so much to learn but it is not difficult to figure out. The machine sews well. I have not had any problems with the machine eating the fabric or pulling in any way. The machine is simple to operate, and very self explanatory. I think that the pfaff manual could use some work. I would like them to explain what a stitch is best used for and how to use each foot that it comes with. I guess that they expect you to go to a class to learn more about the details of the machine. Read more much with the embroidery unit, but in my first try it turned out beautiful. I love that I can have a great Sewing / Quilting machine and also have the embroidery capability. Is a 2008( yr)creative 2 DLT still compatible with a 2020 computer to download to. Also are they repairable.
Yes it is. You can download designs in .vp3 or .vip format onto a flash drive. Then plug into machine & off you go. Only use flash drive of 3gb or smaller though.

I have a new computer & I can't find my download disc for my pfaff creative 2.0 program. Is there any way I can get another disc?
Just call pfaff or go online. My prob is that I miwned anew laptop and apparently pfaff 2.0 only works with windows not with vista which the new machines have.

Read mores been realigned once by the retailer, designs are not that nice, the manual is not clear on instructions and there is too much to figure out, the computer side of it is very vague.
