We love the pram and wouldn't have brought a different one. My cousin has a valco and I can get mine folded down and put a way well before her. I can also fit through small spaces where she can't.
We brought it from my sister so the pram is 3 years old. I did notice the ones they are know selling are better. you can have a back shade. and when you fold it shut it clips together. So be care full if buying second hand as mine doesn't clip shut when closed. We also brought the coocon, bum bag, diddle bag, suncover, rain cover. All which are gr...Read more

I ended up getting two stollers because I wanted a light one for getting in and out of the boot (I have a bad back), and something more appropriate for walking with and jogging with later (even though they're not designed for jogging with despite being called a 'jogger').
I also considered the mountain buggy and the city elite, I went with the phil & ted because it was more affordable. If I was only getting one stroller I would have spent a little bit more and gotten the city jogger.
Can take a toddler attachment. Easy to fold up. Reasonably...Read more

If you are thinking about having two or more kids buy this pram and then you can just add the doubles kit to it for a much cheaper price than 2 or more other prams. I have recommended this pram to lots of people.
Fantastic pram especially if you have 2 kids. Very narrow so can be easily maneuvered around shops unlike many single prams even. Very uncomplicated to use, is easy to push, front wheel can be locked if preferred. Very sturdy design and reasonably easily washed - hard to stain it (we have the dark blue one)- which is really important...Read more

Good
I like the pram a good deal. Yes it has a few shortcomings, but none that are insurmountable. I have a 3mth old and an 18mth old so needed something to take two for years to come and can be versatile. I needed a pram that would suit two, but be lightweight, compact and reasonably sturdy (many fabric parts can be replaced by purchasing from the manufacturer if torn or worn). I'm very petite so just can't handle something overly bulky (yet can still handle that brake)! I definately think it's worth going to a store for a test drive...I took both ...Read more
my kids and set the pram up how I would use it. I probably should have set it up for the next stage (toddler at back as well but didn't so will see what arises when we get to that stage). I weighed up the pros and cons and decided I could work with the few shortcomings. If you know someone who has one, borrow it or get them to give you a demo so you can see it for yourself. I think it is a good buy...our first pram cost heaps more and couldn't convert to take a toddler and a newborn, hence this purchase. Yes it isn't a rolls royce, but you are just needing something to get the kids from A to B quickly, as well as survive a long day out. This pram is compact and manouverable for quick or long trips. Easy to manouver, adjustable handle (hubby is tall, I'm short), folds quite flat (wheels removeable to be super flat if needed), ability to carry two without being overly bulky, great and versatile if you have one or both kids with you, when folding down you can virtually pick it up by the bar and it clicks closed with little effort, don't have to remove toddler seat to fold down (so far), like the harness in that the shoulder straps dont connect to the waist straps, should last until number 2 is the only one needing the pram as number 1 is happy to walk, toddler loves the high position of the toddler seat at the moment, I live country so need pump up tyres when walking. Many comment on the brake...yes it's hard to put on and off, but you do get to learn the best way for yourself, besides....I like knowing that it is ON! Hubby doesn't like the pram as when the kids are older one won't get as good a view as it's an inline pram rather than side by side....considering I'm the one that uses it the most, it suits me better to be more compact. The toddler seat attachment reclines a little bit not a lot - hard for toddler to sleep if you also have a newborn on board. Sometimes think that there isn't much space for the newborn when there is also a toddler on the front, and it can be hard to do up harness of newborn when toddler is in seat. Yes, there is little storage but you can buy add ons (saddle bags, etc).Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Disappointing
Disapointing and I am taking it back tommorow. $600 worth of rubbish. We had a better pram: bought from Aldi. Under $120.
holds 2 children
Dangerous because the brake is very hard to release. In an emergency I found my self lifting the back of the pram and pushing on the front wheel. If you wear open top shoes forget about it. YOu will not get the brake off without using your hands. It is not easy to fold, it is not easy to unfold. It has pinch points.

OK
The best thing about this pram is that it is easy to push with 2 children on board. It feels like a stroller to push around and it isn't too bulky. I had another brand of pram which I have just had to get rid of because it was too bulky to push with 2 children in it. This pram handles much better. However the cons are that you lose storage space and the brake is a very poor design.
Best pram to push with 2 children on board
Not enough storage. Can jam fingers when opening or closing. Brake is hard to put on and off.

very happy with this purchase given that i spend so much time walking - I felt the investment in an expensive 3 wheeler like this was justified - especially with such a good doubles kit - we hopefully be using it for years to come. I figure its not fair to expect a pram to be both heavy duty for walking etc and be light and small for portability purposes.
I love to walk and it is great for this - very easy to manuover, corners very easily, doubles kit (bought seperately) assembles easily and pram is still very well balanced when baby and toddl...Read more

Well plenty of cons, especially the difficult brake. Just today a phil & teds pram rolled off a platform in Melbourne and the baby and pram was run over by the train, it's just lucky the baby was ok :( it could have very easily died! The only real reason I bought it was for the easy maneuverability for jogging, tight spots, and the biggest reason, it's a GREAT doubles pram! If you think you can live with the brake, and you've got a good kick to use it! Then this is the pram for you ... I highly recommend trying one out in the shop for a few mi...Read more
nutes. VERY easy to maneuver, great for jogging (which is one of the main reasons I bought it) and perfect if you have two children. Good for travel with the travel bag, traveled a few times and nothing was damaged. No storage pockets (had to buy an add on for when out jogging) for keys, wallets etc. The sunshade is tiny and doesn't shade bub. My little girl has worked out how to pull the zips down on either side, she does it every time without fail, and it's putting a lot of pressure on the straps at the back. It's a little stiff to fold and unfold (and my hubby can't work it out for the life of him!). The mudguards (which now come standard) are a real pain when traveling, you would have to unscrew them if you want to flat pack it. It's a bit annoying with so many straps to do up, usually there is only one or two, but there are four tiny ones. The most difficult thing is the brake!! it is so stiff and hard to use, it doesn't get easier (I've had the pram for months), if you have bare feet or thongs/sandals, you have to do it with your hands and as it's a sports model, if the brake isn't on, it rolls away (even on a flat surface)!!!Similar opinion? Terrible
Buy from someone who will honour a warranty. DON'T BUY PHIL N TED! DON'T BUY FROM BABIES GALORE!
nothing. It was the most expensive stroller in the store, and it can't even get to the local shops and back.
only owned it a week and a tyre burst - has happened 3 more times since, each time my husband has to leave work and come and get me and 2 babies. But Babies Galore keep saying its normal "wear and tear" and not under warranty. Its only ever been to the local shops! Fair Trading says Babies Galore is wrong, but until case goes through, I'm stuck with a very expensive stroller I can't use.

Totally agree! With one child the tyres would go flat every few weeks. Since having our second child we can't use the pram at all. So disappointed and in the process of trying to find another pram. What a waste of $700!

Overall I've found this to be a well made sturdy pram but if i had my time again I probably would buy another one.
Sturdy, easy to manoeuvre and unique toddler/2nd child seat design. narrower than most other 3 wheelers. Nice colours.
Too many steps to get from upright to fully flat, eg if baby falls asleeps in upright position and you want to lay them down forget about it! Brakes stiff to get on and off. To unfold you need to squeeze the pram closed more before you can push the grey lever in. 5 point harness has 4 clips - most others only have 2, so buckling in takes twice as long (and out too)

This is a very popular pram and has a lot of good points. The only thing that I have not been impressed with is that I have seen quite a lot of older prams of this brand that look very faded in colour and not very good so I do not think that they age very well at all. They are a sturdy pram and great for when you have two children to lug around. They are quite expensive though when there are definitely cheaper alternatives that are very similar in design and style.
Good, sturdy pram.
The colourings of the fabric appear to fade badly over time. Very expensive.

Bad
I purchased this pram thinking of the future and the fact that I would more than likely require a pram that could seat two children. If you want a pram that is lightweight, with no frills...this is the pram for you. If you are safety conscious and want a pram that is sturdy this pram is not for you..
This pram is compact and lightweight. I have a small car and have no problems getting this pram in and out of the car. It is great when out and about, given how narrow it is you have no problems getting around tight areas, particularly when shoppin...Read more

Even though I have a few cons, I LOVE this stroller. It is so easy to use, fits through supermaket checkouts, I can run with it, easily fits into the back of the car. I now tend to use this stroller for walks and a smaller umbrella stroller with a skateboard attachment for the shops. Having said that, I love this stroller and couldn't live without it. I just wish I could afford to upgrade to the newer/lighter model.
As narrow as a normal stroller, easy to steer, looks good, wheels come off easily for storage.

I absolutly recommend this pram to any one, i havent used it as a double pram as yet but had a 4 wheel reverse handle before i found it terrible for walking, i purchased my phil & teds sport & walk now more than ever pushing it is such a joy & so easy no matter what mountain terrain you are travelling, it is just to easy. The sunshade is fantastic at keeping the sun out away from bubs. Dont hesitate at all purchase a P&T sport asap & you will be forever happy & so will your little one. I love this pram. It is my second pram (I needed a new pram to carry a second child as my first pram could not take a toddler seat) and I cannot rate it highly enough. I have had it now for 8 months and wish I had it from the beginning (2 years ago) with my first child. I get so many comments from other people (particularly older people) saying that they wished this type of pram was available in their day.

The zippers and clips cleverly allow the pram to change as the baby grows. It has accessories that also make the pram more usable through out the stages of the growth of the baby. Like the cocoon for newborn that fits snuggly and securely in the pram. The body also can be rocked to put the baby to sleep. Very hand when out to lunch as you dont have to rock the pram to achieve this action. The fitted suncover is also great for walks and protects from the UV sun rays.
This pram is very easy to operate and has a carry tray under the bottom that folds flat when not in use.

It is so easy to steer, it can be done with one hand. It is also small enough to fit almost anywhere I go. It is also quite stylish, I feel happy taking it anywhere.
It handles well off road and my son falls asleep in it very quickly, especially with the sunshade over it - which is also effective at stopping strangers cooing at him when unwelcomed!
Maneuverability, size, weight and style.
The break is very hard to disengage. I need to do it with my hands most of the time. The storage compartment is also inaccessible while the seat is in newborn configuration.

Great pram for those that like to do some walking or jogging outdoors.
Double kit option gives more flexibility to it's uses.
One piece easy to open / close; light and responsive to push; great for rough tracks/bush walking/jogging.Seems smaller than some other three wheelers, especially back wheels do not stick out as much as some.Double kit fits quickly.Sunshade - thick weaveBasket - large

I love my Sport pram, it is so nice to steer with a really tight turning circle. We partly chose this pram due to its decent price and the cocoon. The cocoon is wonderful for a newborn in cooler months. I wouldn't use it during summer as baby can get pretty hot in there. The harness is firm and secure. Many mums I know are buying this pram after having already used other ones, so I'm happy with my choice!

I have just bought a Phil and Teds sport stroller from the local op shop, in great condition . Couldn’t believe my luck, but...how do you fold it up?

That’s awesome! You’ll love it!
Under the seat near where it goes to the feet plastic section, you’ll see a red clip, push and slide it across and the stroller top will fold down and then it clips up when you pick it up.
I had an older version so the fold up mechanism was different. If you have a sport, this video is pretty helpful.
