Way better then expected
The Phillips airfryer was much better the expected . Cooking time less then half the cooking time then what the oven would do. ( which I didn’t need think would be the case )Chips and kids fav like chicken treats cooked in well under 10 minutes and cooked to perfection .the biggest surprise was how even and Crip the food was. I have to say the best thing so far to have Cooked is pork belly ... absolutely flawless crispy crackle with juicy meat . I am always the cook of my house but this airfryer is so easy to use even my 9 years old and husband can use it with ease, the cleaning is simple too just rinse and hand wash the basket /draw and your done . . 11/10 for this Airfryer

A new staple on our benchtop
We actually had our deep fryer break a little while ago so this comes with great timing
Upon first receiving it, I loved the sleek look and that it seemed very simple to use (guess what, it is!)
For our first use we made fries, cause who doesn't love fries! They where perfect and golden, soft and fluffy on the inside, beautiful!!
For our next session we made roasted potatoes, I was so amazed, we went from raw chopped potatoes to perfectly roasted in 20 minutes.
With two small kids this is an absolute godsend
Anything that saves us time is essential in our lives

Fried treats for days!
I used to be skeptical about airfryers and if they stood up to all the hype. I’m glad to report having tried and tested the Philips Airfryer for a couple of weeks now, it’s surpassed my expectations! We’ve since enjoyed crispy fried chicken wings, samosas, gyozas, chicken nuggets, potato gems and still have a long list of treats we’re planning to try. The ease of dishwasher cleaning and fuss-free design make it a plus to any kitchen and it’s definitely one of our top favourite appliances at this moment.

Efficient, quiet & easy to use
I love this airfryer for so many reasons but a few key features really stood out. I was impressed by the ample basket capacity which comfortably allowed for meals to suit four. It also cooked evenly & looking into the drip tray gave me great satisfaction to see all the fat we weren’t consuming. The appliance is attractive & modern if you want to leave it on the bench top & I found it was quiet when switched on which was a feature my previous air fryer did not have & was so loud. The retractable chord is A great idea & the dials made it simple to operate too.

We love the Philips Airfryer
Our family absolutely loves the Philips Airfryer! As complete newbies to the Airfryer, it took as a little while to decipher the very limited instructions. This is probably the only area I think that Philips could improve on in regards to this product. The instructions were limited and extremely hard to understand. Once we had figured out how to use the machine, it’s barely had a day off. We’ve cooked a few different things, the most being deliciously crunchy, healthy chips, and my 6 year olds favourite, nuggets! Just as good as you’d purch...Read more
ase if you were eating out, without the grease. I was able to cook a tender roast beef and even a pudding while trialling the Airfryer, it is so versatile and quick, cutting cooking time in half. Can’t wait to use it in summer time when we dread turning the oven on for hours which heats up the house. I highly recommend the Philips Airfryer for quick, easy meals.Purchased in April 2021.

I AM IN LOVE
Got this for mothers day and am wondering how I ever got along without it. Cooks food super fast, drains all the fat away and crisps to perfection. No long heating periods either so I should save a lot in my power bills

Multifunctional time saver!
The healthier way to fry! Absolutely loving the diversity of my sleek Philips Airfryer.
Not only does it fry but it also bakes, grills and roasts by circulating hot air, with little or no oil required at all.
The removable non-stick drawer is easy to use and dishwasher safe, as is the food basket. Cleaning is simple and fast. A gentle wipe down and you’re done!
‘Rapid Air Technology’ circulates hot air with speed and precision, ensuring air has an even distribution and food is cooked evenly. This sure beats the inconsistency of stoves and ovens!
Plus, my favourite part, it saves the house smelling of fried oil like traditional fryers.

Quick and easy to use!
Simple and easy to use and clean. Makes great chips! Simplistic design and minimal buttons makes it easy to understand and adjust, and looks nice on the counter. Only drawbacks is it's quite bulky and difficult to store when not in use (if you don't have the bench space to leave it out). Instruction booklet is very simplistic which is great to have as a handy guide, but would have loved a bit more information and some ideas of other ways to use!

A good product with some minor limitations
Overall impressions after testing out the Philips Air Fryer HD9218 model for the past two weeks have been mostly positive;
Design – I quite like the piano black finish which really stands-out from other appliances in my kitchen and the gloss makes the product quite sleek giving the impression that this product looks more sophisticated and somewhat more expensive than it really is. The no-fuss timer and temperature controls are easy to use, despite the temperature dial being a little loose on my particular review unit (it wobbles a little when s...Read more

Fast, healthy, and easy
Love my air fryer - it is so easy to use. Fast and healthy using just a tiny spray of oil, and so simple my teenagers are using it to cook all their after school snacks. When it’s dirty they can just put the inserts in the dishwasher. Lightning fast for roast veg, and awesome for pastry and pizza type snacks. Haven’t tried roasting meat yet but can’t wait.

Life changing!
We have found the philips air fryer very handy. It is quick & reliable providing even heating & cooking of foods in the basket. The use of no oils gives the added benefit of foods not leaving you feeling queasy from too much oil. We found food to come out crunchy on the outside while moist, soft & fluffy on the inside. The flavour was retained from the 1st bite to the last. Any Seasoning on the foods were not washed off by oil & remained on the food giving it a flavour hit! The versatility on range of cooking is highly commendable. Baking, fryi...Read more
ng, grilling & more! The ability to set foods cooking & be able to cook other dish elements or deal with a child while not having to worry about the air fryer or oil becoming a danger is very family smart. A tip for cleaning is to use a clean nail brush to scrub the basket The only cons or design suggestions for improvement or review we could pin point are: Removable mesh base from basket for easier cleaning Fan is abit noisy Ability to turn the dial to stop the timer or a timer reset button taking it back to zero Self retracting cord More temperature markings to pin point on dial the actual temperature being usedPurchased in April 2021.

Fast Healthy Easy
Nice looking, no mess, no fuss, simple to use, easy to clean, giving perfect results every single time. We love the Philips AirFryer. The 800g capacity is only suitable for snacks or side dishes for our large family but we have enjoyed experimenting with all kinds of dishes: baking, frying, roasting... we've tried it all with perfect results each and every time. The online recipe book is jam packed with recipes and inspiration if we ever want to branch out from our usual choices. This is an excellent "must-have" kitchen appliance garanteed not to sit unused at the back of a cupboard or waste kitchen bench space.

Quite a good product
We had a lot of fun test driving the air fryer. Overall I found it more similar to a small oven than a deep fryer.
On the plus side it was very quick to both heat up the unit and to cook meals.
With regard to some improvements and negatives, we were supplied with an older model of the air fryer so things like the temperature control was harder to manage. The air flow was uneven so baking things like cupcakes was hard because they can’t rise evenly in that environment. It was also too small for family use unless it’s only being used as a side...Read more

I've found my new best friend
I love this Airfryer. Food tastes better without all the grease!! It's easy to use. Cooks fast with such little efforts. Easy to clean (I clean mine after every use). So far I've cooked yum cha, onion rings, fish and chips. I'll be trying so many more things in this!! If I can find more to cook, I'll try to use it in place of my oven.

Philips Airfryer Healthy Amazing Appliance
The Philips Airfryer is an amazing product, I don't know why I never thought of purchasing one of this in the past! I guess it's because I was going to be gifted by Social Soup and Philips!
I love the Philips Airfryer!
No more running to Mccas for a hash brown or french fries! I can make the perfect hash browns with my Philips Airfryer. It's also a healthier option since it's not soaked in oil!
The Philips Airfryer was packaged perfectly. All the information you need to know about the product was illustrated in the packaging: bakes, fries,...Read more
grills and roasts. It's 90% less fat, uses rapid air technology to cook food and who doesn't love fries... Healthy fries! I like that the packaging didn't contain too much plastic, nowadays it's preferable to go green when you can, so a thumbs up to Philips! The Quick Start Guide and the how to use diagram was also well illustrated... Even kids will be able to understand it. (Obviously adult supervision is still required if you will train them to use one.)Purchased in April 2021.

Kitchen Must Have!
For starters, my husband who doesn't cook, got to the airfryer for first use before I could! Right there, that's a huge win!
After our first use, (french fries which came out PERFECT!) I jumped on Facebook and found a few groups purely for the Philips Airfryer. I'm amazed at how much can be done in it! Already ordered the extra accessories for it. I've used it every day since receiving it and even rearranged the bench to make permanent space for it. It's brilliant! We've thrown out our old airfryer from Aldi as the difference is out of this wo...Read more

Simply awesome product
I was so excited to pick up my Phillips airfryer. Healthy home cooked food for my family is what I was planning and we couldn't wait to get started. The machine itself fit nicely on our bench top and before even reading the instructions i could see that it was such a simple design telling me this would be simple to use.. and that it was. We decided to do a test run with of course, frozen chips! Usually when we cook frozen chips in the oven to grt a crispy outside, the inside ends up quite dry and not overly tasty to eat. But these were perfectl...Read more
y crispy and the inside was light and fluffy, just like you would expect from deepfried chips only they werent heavy and full of oil. Our eyes lit up and the excitment grew... what will we cook next?! A few nights ago my partner wanted to cook pork belly for the first time. One of his favourite foods but one we rarely cooked because we never have much luck with the crackle. And once again we both got a small mouthful of decent crackle on top. But then we read up on using the airfryer for pork belly. The reviews we read praised the machine so we thought we would give it a go and googled a pork belly airfryer recipe. We couldn't believe how simple it was to use the airfryer. Simply spray the cooking basket with oil before cooking, close it up, set the temp and set the time. Done! The wait was hard as we couldn't see what was happening to our piece of meat. When the timer dinged we opened it up to find the absolute best looking crackle we have ever made! Our mouths were watering! By the end we had delicious, perfectly cooked pork belly covered in pork crackle. Yum! The only down side I have is the size of the basket. We couldn't fit more than the pork belly in the basket so we decided to still use the oven for the vegetable accompaniment. However while the pork came out and rested we threw the vegetables in the airfryer for 5 minutes and this just crisped the potatoes right up. I highly recommend this product, however I would suggest opting for one with a larger capacity if you want to cook more home made items rather than frozen goods or if you want to cook for more than 1 person.Purchased in April 2021.

Awesome daily Airfyer
Satisfied with this product because the food is so crispy and without oil. So far I’ve used it for everything even for toast. Tested this beautiful Philips Airfyer and it’s awesome! For those who knows me, I rarely use oil when cooking. So this gift is just perfect! So versatile you can roast, grill, fry and bake! Easy to clean too!
What I love about this airfyer is the amount of oil collected at the bottom whilst cooking!
Easy pull drawer to drain the oil and put the next batch as this one is a bit small.
Bonus, the cord is retractable!
This one is digital. Also, the basket is small so It’s good for 2 people. If you got a family, buy the xl one.

Not sure . but it is definitely the smaller of the Phillips air fryers. Don't think that you would be able to a very big roast in it.
