The only one
I needed a gate to stop my toddler going into my kitchen, the gap is around 3 metres and this is pretty much the only one that goes that far. It is a screw-into-wall gate, and I had it attached on my kitchen wall cupboard instead (PVC boards?). I could do it with a normal screw driver, no need to get a drill or anything. The gate is quite sturdy, eventhough I don't think I did a very good job at screwing it onto the wall.
My son would push and pull on the gate and it would sway where the joints are (the bit where the panels meet, not the bit...Read more
where it attaches to the wall). The door isn't spring-hinged, so you have to open and close it shut. Great thing about not-self-closed door is that when the kids are sleeping, you can just leave the gate door open! I can open/close gate with one hand (thumb to slide button to unlock while lifting the door to open/close), and sometimes use my foot to move the frame so that the door would line up at the right place. My son is 2.5yo and he has seen me open and shut the gate so many times, he still doesn't know how to do it since the unlock mechanism is quite subtle! I wouldn't say it's a bad thing, just that it's an observation: Have to be careful when crossing the door since there is a bar across the frame on the bottom of the door which can get tripped over. But that's just the design to make the gate strong. The door and that bottom bar has a small space, so the fingers can't get pinched when the door closes (which is a pro). Since I didn't have the gate in a straight line (I used two panels, a door and a normal panel; they do provide 2 normal panel plus the door, which adds up to cover a gap up to approx 3 metres), the angle can change if I just push the pivot point forward and backwards. I was afraid that's going to break the gate or break the joints at the wall, but it seems to be still pretty solid after nearly 2 years of maneuvering. Looks good, I don't like the prison-bar looking gates. Can leave door open when not in use. Adjustable length, no need to buy extensions. No need to use two hands to open door. Can withstand a child shaking the gate vigorously.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Excellent
I love this product and it creates a very large pen space for baby compared to the other pens available. Its easy to assemble and the size is adjustable. The fabric is strong and takes a 10kg todddler leaning on it without a problem. If you live in an open plan apartment you can put 2 gates together and have a giant baby space with different sections that they dont get bored in.
This can make a large pen for baby if you section off the end of a room, or it can be used as a wall and gate. Its nice and soft and babies can see whats going on in th...Read more
