Awesome Product
I bought these to use for our Granddaughter, my only complaint is not knowing about them for our children. You can leave them open when they aren't in use and if the child falls they don't get the bumps and bruises they do with other gates. Hands down the best idea :-)

Excellent
We used this gate on our stair case because it does not have a bar at the bottom which people could trip over. I loved how when the gate was open it could appear almost invisible. It is a bit difficult to open and close one handed. I would highly recommend this gate especially for stair cases. Because it screws into the walls it is a bit messy to fix up when removed but any handy husband would be able to do this without too much trouble.
Gate slides away when not in use to be very unnoticeable.
Can be a bit tricky to get the hang of.

OK
Not a bad option but you have to be careful as it is slightly flexable which means if you have it at the top of a stairs you need to install it a few inches back from the edge of the top step otherwise a child can squeeze their hands or legs through the gap.
Good for installing in awkward areas like small doors and middle of passageways etc….
Can swivel for diagonal placement.
Not very east to operate one handed, also if you let it go it can snap back and hit the wall making a loud bang.
Needs a bit of drilling to install.

Dreambaby has brought out a similar product which is cheaper, easier to use and comes with two sets of mounting brackets so you can move the gate around the house (e.g. block of stairs when needed, or keep littlies in one room while being able to keep an eye on them). This type of gate is fantastic for fitting oddly shaped doorways/entrances and sliding out of sight when not in use.
Great idea for a less obtrusive safety gate. Fits large doorways and can be used when sides are not totally in line.
Expensive and awkward to get used to. Not the easiest gate to fit either.

I thought this gate would be more handy than it has been. I forget to use it, and my children don't really like to feel cooped up on the other side, so they usually winge and try and hang off it. Apart from this, it does the job and I like not having to keep it shut all the time, like other kiddy gates on the market. I would recommend this for parents with smaller babies (crawlers) or staircases.
Fits wide doorways. You don't have to have the gate up all the time as it is retractable, unlike fixed gates which you need to constantly open and clo...Read more
