This is sooo much easier to use than a whipper snipper for the driveway and gutters. It gives a nicer finish than a whipper snipper too. Easy to clean, it’s not heavy (even with the battery on) as the weight it on the wheel and the wheel rolls easily. Also, it doesn’t use up a lot of battery.

I have mortar holding pavers in place, is this unit easily adjusted to accommodate / adjust moving from that to garden, then gutter edging?
I also have an 18v trimmer, only a few years old and the battery wont hold any charge, will this product suffer the same fate in a few years too?

I have a 4yo 36V edger which has not been abused but is now faulty. On full charge, it intermittently starts if I give the head a tap on the ground, but the almost immediately stops: this problem has progressively worsened over the last 4. Months. I've dismantled the head to clean and lube, with little benefit. Unassembled, that is without the blade and cover it works as normal

I had the same problem with 4YO 36V edger. Turned out that battery was the problem. Purchased very expensive new battery. Problem sorted.
