Fits perfectly in our Nissan Xtrail and still enough room to sit two people.
The installation was done by myself - instruction easy to follow but the back harness was too short. So I had to buy another extension which the company could easily include it or make the harness longer in the first place.
Just a tip for anyone looking to buy a car seat or pram. Wait for sale and lay-by it. With lay-by your warranty doesn't start until you pay in full and pick up the item from the shop.

The car seat is great and install is easy. However with any car seat we have brought (6) I always have an issue with tightening the harness. It always catches which means I have to put my hand behind to release it which is annoying especially if you have grandparents you want to look after your children or help

Got 2 of these front facing along with another rear facing in the back of our medium SUV (BMW X3) - works fine. No issues installing, everything is easy to wash, doesn't seem to stain easily (no stains so far), plenty of adjustment options. A bit expensive for what it is, but we tried others and they just didn't fit, so cheaper than buying a new car.

We have recently replaced my 5 year old, older car seats with 2 of these. He loves the seats and thanks me every day for his new car seat (turns out he didn’t like his old one!) This seat is easy to install and adjust.
Super comfortable and they have given us renewed peace of mind that if we were involved in an accident our son would be safe.

This car seat is so good we bought one for each car. They are easy to install and most importantly very safe and comfortable. My son climbs into and out of this seat easily, has lots of padding for comfort and 2 cup holders for bottles or snacks. Easy to clean and seat belt very user friendly without getting twisted.

This seat has been perfect for our Lexus sedan, as the slightly narrower size means it doesn't damage the leather bucket seat like our old car seat was. Now that we have two young children, we have this seat in the second car for times when we need to take one child somewhere. It's so easy to adjust that we can easily change it depending on which child is travelling in it. Also they don't seem to get as sweaty in this seat as in other seats we've had.

Installation and uninstall does take some effort.
Very comfortable for our baby.
I really like the arm rest and cup/bottle holder feature.
Maintenance and cleaning is quite easy as you can easily pull apart all parts and put them back together.

Cons

Seat is not ISOFIX compatible which is a shame when most of the seats these days are ISOFIX compatible.

The maxi guard pro is a well designed seat making installing easy and every day use a breeze. In less than 2 minutes my car seat is installed. My son who is 4 love his seat he happily gets in by himself and a quick tighten by mum and were good to go. Long distance trips are a dream, the thermo5 fabric keeps him cool and it is easy to remove and wash.

Love the car seat, but the little issue i have with the cup holders. I would prefer them to be a little rounder as it's hart to fit in our drinking bottles. I use the camelback bottle (as it's the only ne that doesn't leak) and i have to really push it in bit then my boy can't take it out.

This was easy to install and my daughter finds it comfortable. She loves the cup holders.

Everything is fantastic apart from tightening the straps. I can only tighten them from the front seat and not from the side as I put her in her seat. The tightening strap is stiff and I am not quite strong enough for it as I have just had a baby and my joints have suffered.

The seat fits well in the back between two other car seats.

The button is a magnet for my kids to lengthen the straps to remove themselves from the seat/compromise the safety of the harness because it's been made too loose. The recline can only be set or not, no ability to adjust in-the-car, and the seat length is terrible for kids hips and legs (and therefore overall comfort) as it's like being perched ont he edge of a stool with legs dangling.

The colour and fabric is nice - I wish that was enough.

We love our maxi guard pro, not only does it feel very solid and safe but it's also so easy to adjust and install. Along with it feeling safe and comfortable but it looks great and has the added features of cup holders and arm rests! I would highly recommend the seat to anyone. I also live that it's harnessed until 8 so I can keep him as safe as possible for as long as possible ☺

It did take a bit of fiddling to install but once done it has been great to use. Our now 1 year old is very comfortable, with the bottle holder being extremely handy. The belt clips can be a little difficult to use when you are in a hurry though.

We purchased this car seat for our third after a lot of research. This car seat was top of the list with all the features for comfort and especially the safety features. Unfortunately we had to return it as it did not fit in our car with 2 other seats which was such a shame. It was too wide and we have a jeep compass. Very sad as it looks awesome!!

Easy to install and with all the padding, the baby looks very comfortable. It's easy to use with lengthening the seat as well as loosening and tightening the seatbelts
Excellent safety features, the padding on the headrest provides excellent safety for smaller child's head and smaller children are very well protected.

The seat itself is fantastic, although the material is terrible and snags and picks very easily. Don't be fooled by 5yr warranty - Britax refused to fix it, and blamed me for the problem with the material, telling me it must be my jewellery (which I don't wear!). I also have the older model (3yrs old) and the material is so much better. I wish they had left the material as it was

My son loves this seat- he has used since he grew out of his Safe n Sound tilt adjust at 4yo the Maxi guard is comfy easy to adjust as they grow and the two cup holders are great- one for a drink and one for a snack in a tub!

Cleaning is simple the cover comes of easily
Plenty for of storage with pockets and cup holder either side and comfy arm rests on both sides.

We are very pleased with this seat. It is very comfortable, fits well in our car and was easy to install following instructions. Cleaning is a breeze as well, and does not require anything special, just wiping with a damp cloth is enough. The material used for the seat is good and lint and dust do not collect there easily. This seat can be highly recommended
