Continuous switching on/off

published

This TV was alright until last month that started switching on and off by itself. I reseted it to factory setting but still having the same issue. Surprisingly there is no software update available on Samsung website.

Purchased in February 2021 at JB Hi-Fi for A$2,500.00.

Piece of Junk

published

Purchased this back in 2013, after a year when turned on it started randomly turning itself off and on multiple times then would stay on, 6 months after warranty it started to turn itself on and off all by itself. This piece of junk cost me $2,500 and over $600 in repairs and has been sitting in storage unused for years, unable to be properly repaired to permanently fix the issue.

Brought this TV new, 3 months old it turned off & on at random, many times in one viewing. It was sent away to be fixed 6 months later it was doing the same thing. Then on & on it goes. It still is doing it. What a waste of money.

I had the chance to test 2 TV's a Samsung and a Sony. The Samsung picture quality was RUBBISH i did try playing around to fix it but no way was it going to get better so then i tested the Sony KDL55HX850 and i tell you something from the time you take it out of the box to pluging it in you know that it is of much higher quality and the picture is VERY GOOD.
Nothing at all!! oh the remote was good thats it.
Picture quality was RUBBISH, WHAT WHERE THEY THINKING

Try disconnecting your network. This makes a dumb tv that still works.

If your Samsung TV is turning On and Off erratically or for no apparent reason, there are a couple of things to check. Your TV will have Energy Saving functions built in to ensure the TV doesn't use up too much power. You can adjust the energy saving functions in the TV menu.

We have provided a link below to further assist you with this.

Hi Scott, I don't think this TV supports Bluetooth. I hadn't tried connecting it to any Bluetooth accessories however looking at the specs there is no mention of Bluetooth. I checked the specs at this website :
