Bought one as the screen size was great for single hand, and it certainly fits well. Not too much juice in the processor, but it wouldn't be shabby to perform daily tasks / internet browsing / movie watching stuffs. The battery holds charge pretty well and would easily last a few days for general uses.

It is for laptop in house. Sometimes I bring this one in my bag. But I can't use it valuable. Because I can only use internet with WIFI.
And also this tablet is so small screen and big vessel. It makes me sick of it easily. Either you want to use it in house, don't buy it.

For the value this is a great product as i have bought it for my mum's daily use for going facebook and playing app store games. She absolutely loves it and the camera quality isn't the greatest but does the job. If you are trying to find a tablet for work and other business related stuff that requires word document etc i would not suggest it as it is a bit slow when opening applications.

Purchased this tablet just to play videos on the go. When apps are update it works fine. You do need an additional sim card aswell. Little bit slow compared to the newer models but for the price you pay and does a really good job. Very happy with thw product.

I bought it for my boy Christmas present. He love it. At the beginning system is fast, but after long time, system become slowly and slowly, Which is not good, Ipad doesn't have this problem unless you update system. Battery is not too bad by the way. Good for kids.

This is a great tablet for the kids. Kid's mode means that you can limit the apps that your kids can access, giving you peace of mind for the little ones. Unfortunately the very limited storage space means that you run out of storage very quickly, making a MicroSD card a must. Even then, apps will suck up the space and you'll find yourself having to give it a clean regularly. The tablet itself struggles from a fairly slow processor and lack of RAM, meaning that although it's fine for kids if you want to be productive you're better off getting something more powerful.

I will be honest I was an iPad user before I purchased this and I was still after I purchased this. Samsung may have fixed up glitches with newer models but I did this one slow and the screen response is delayed. I often find it frustrating to use and switch back to using my phone which is also a Samsung hence why I purchased the Tab because I love the layout and ease of my phone. Honestly we just use it now to let our daughter play reading eggs or watch ABC kids apps, sometimes it will go flat for days and we don't miss it. These issues may just be isolated or have been fixed on the newer models but for me it's a "meh" purchase

I got this product as a gift and fell in love with it,
It is easy to work with and very light to carry it around.
I have it for almost 8 months and never crashed or frozen, I probably would like it more if the quality of the photos it takes was better.

I decided to upgrade from my 6 year old Galaxy Tab 2 due its sluggish performance, inability to use non Samsung chargers, and it being stuck on Android 4. I decided on the 7" Galaxy Tab A.
I use a 7" tablet for travelling both domestically and international, as it is small enough to be useful and easy to carry, but larger than my phone so easier to read. I use the tab for researching and travel blog writing.
Well this new purchase is no better than it's older brother for exactly the same reasons that I did an upgrade.
Whilst the Tab A i...
Read mores marginally quicker, the lags between typing and the screen are still there, esp when going between caps and lower case, but that I can live with. What I cannot handle is Samsungs deliberate use of a tricky bit of circuitry in it's chargers which mean you cannot charge the device with anything else. If I want to charge it in the car using a car charger, or on a plane using the in seat charger, or through the USB port on a hotel room TV, or via a friend's charger, etc etc, where I can easilly charge my other devices, well I just can't, because the device just refuses to charge on anything else but a Samsung charger.- Date Purchased

Absolutely love this tablet. Perfect for my 3 and 5 year old! Has the best password protected kids mode which they are unable to exit themselves. Fast working and holds its charge for a lot longer than expected! The kids mode has so many cool games for the kids, they love it!

Great little device. Easy to use and no complaints of breakdowns...Had apples previously and they were great as well but this a great cheaper alternative. Have tried Lenovo tablets and had nothing but problems. Be rest assured that Samsung have made another great product. For what I use it for have had no problems reading textbooks and playing games on it. Does everything I need and is not slow. You can also expand the memory which is awesome.

The device was purchased for my 11 year old son. The device is running perfectly. The device does not display any lag or freezing, the display is good, the added children’s mode is a bonus to lock it to age limits. Works great with Netflix and YouTube streaming. Approximate 7-8 hours of battery on YouTube.

This has been an exercise in self interest. I bought this for my grandsons 5th birthday as he always knocked my Samsung phone off to play games and watch YouTube for kids. It was probably overkill (says the IT illiterate wife) but these kids just have a natural aptitude when it comes to technology. It's a great size for a junior and he prefers it to the full blown tablet especially in the car. The graphics are first class and the build is solid as. Long battery life considering the way kids hammer these things. Great investment if you are looki...
Read moreng for a bit of peace and quiet. The only thing is you need to give them a good wipe occasionally. I'm sure they would be a great tool for adults for some browsing and emails as they are just that bit bigger than a phone. Typically Samsung quality with 7.0" screen,1.3Ghz Quad Core Processor,,8GB storage (MicroSD up to 256GB), 5MP auto focus rear facing camera, 2MP front facing camera, running on Android 5.1 (Lollipop) with up to 9 hours battery life. Don't worry your kids will be asleep well before the 9 hours are up though we only allow hour spells.- Date Purchased

It is an okay product. I used it for school. Light and sufficient. Did not fail me once. Battery power is lasting. Enough memory and it has a good processor.
Never fell. It seem durable however. I think I will get an upgrade and give this to my sister. She would love it.

This tablet is great for watching things like Youtube or Netflix. However it's not good for downloading large apps such as games since the memory isn't very good. And buying an SD card doesn't help with the memory problem. I'd recommend this to people who just want a tablet to watch stuff on.

I bought this a tablet for my son and it's a great kids tablet. With kids mode, you can set a timer for how long your child can go on it, and you can allow what content you'd like for your child to access. It has expandable memory which is great and battery life is pretty good. I previously had an ipad and find a lot more can be done with an android tablet.
Very happy with this product and it's a great tablet for it's price.

The best device i have ever bought. I can use it for work with access to all the apps i use for our small business and love using it to read on. Its a perfect size as its not too heavy to hold for long periods of time reading and has a reading more that dimms the screen.

Got this for my son for xmas but tried it to make sure it is ok. My son will love this and it is perfect for younger kids to use and use educational apps to learn with. Also just to watch their fav show on as well. Great price for it as well and I could even find a great cover for it as well to protect it.

We have been using the Samsung Tab A 7" 8Gb version for 9 months now, and we have had no problems with it.
It is used a lot during the day, and gets charged overnight.
For the price of well under $200 it was a very good option, for a reasonable sized tablet.
No Complaints.

We got this for my daughter a little while ago to stop her from taking my iPad away from me. It took a little getting use to as I'm used to using the Apple iPad. It's easy to down load apps. We do the kid games. Charges quickly, this one came with its own sim so when we are out and about she can get the Internet anywhere we go.
