Wonderful TV
Upgrading from an LG tv, this Samsung tv is the best I've had yet. The picture quality is amazing! The regular tv speaker is fine, yet we use a Bose external speaker to add better sound. It has an easy set up and the menu options are easy to follow and look very modern.
It is extremely easy to access the Internet and other smart tv features such as YouTube.
The size 55 inch is good for our home. The use of fewer cords is another added benefit. This tv is also very thin making it good for wall mounting. Enough ports too.
Highly recommend

Best TV I've owned
This is a great TV within the price range it sits. We spent a bit of time working out the best size of TV for the room we have, and it was worth doing the homework. Easy set-up. Instruction simple to follow. We had it on a stand at first, but decided to buy a bracket and put it on the wall which it better and shows off its slimline features. The TV's sound is pretty good, but we bought a soundbar which is much better.

Make sure there are no insects around the TV
Im happy with the picture quality and sound, but insects have gotten trapped between the glass and screen of the TV. Initially I thought it was a burnt out pixel but when I had a closer look they were small insects. It looks like the glass on the monitor isnt sealed sufficiently to keep insects out. I have three on the screen now and its really annoying when watching a good movie, and its just out of warranty. The TV is kept inside so dont bother having the it in a uncover pergola.
i wouldnt buy another Samsung TV.

Great TV
I bought this TV to upgrade my very old model. It is everything I wanted. The ideal size for my home. It has an easy to operate remote, very intuitive. I can watch free to air TV, DVD's, record shows and have installed Netflix. This TV will give me years of pleasure I am sure.

I have a similar Samsung model UA55MU6103WXXY. With a brand Asus model Zen UX430UNR laptop miracast keeps on disconnecting every 5 to 10 minutes on Windows 10. On another LG tv Asus laptop connects fine. My LG Android mobile connects fine to the Samsung TV.
Anyone come across this before?

Thanks for coming through, Brisdaz. From what you have described, it may be best to contact tech support for your laptop, as it seems other devices have no issues utilising Miracast to your Samsung TV.
Alternatively you are welcome to contact us via the number below and a team member may be able to assist you in troubleshooting this for you.

The Asus laptop works on other LG TVs means it may be some strange incompatibility.
See https://superuser.com/questions/1511965/asus-zenbook-samsung-mu6103-miracast-keeps-on-disconnecting-after-5-minutes where I've asked more technical users.
I'm hoping to find other Samsung TV customers who can confirm or deny Miracast is working properly.
For those reading it later on:
Temporary Workaround
I connected the laptop to WiFi router via 5GHZ; then connected Miracast; then switched laptop to Wifi router via 2.4GHZ. This works fine for longer then 30 minutes so far.
However this is not a long term fix as 2.4GHZ is slower then 5GHZ. I am still not sure what the root cause issue is.
